Cons: Slipped a little on wet bathroom floor, grabbed for towel rack and the bar came off in my hand. Someone else had done the same slipping motion, pulled the towel rack off the wall and the Hotel Staff never fixed the towel rack, Housekeeping just keeps putting clean towels on the loose bar and its an accident waiting to happen, Could you imagine dropping that bar on your foot... Three out of four light bulbs in the room were burnt out, woman at front desk with long curly hair is not trying in any way to earn any customer service points. The rest of the Hotel Staff was excellent. Really slept well regardless of the pillows from hell. Oh and the towels are old and worn. And my sheets were torn and it looked like someone steam ironed a candy wrapper to fix the hole.

Pros: The staff were very kind and helpful. They provided quick and accurate answers to all of my questions about transportation and things to do in Guadalajara. The breakfast buffet is ample and well-priced. And, importantly, the shower here is one of the best I've every experienced in Mexico, with plenty of hot water! I love the neighborhood where this hotel is located; it's very near the Juarez metro station and several shops/restaurants I enjoy visiting when I'm in the city. Have happily stayed at this hotel before and will do so again.

Pros: The rooms were nice and clean, just as the photos show. We went to the restaurant for dinner, and that was really, really good with a wide variety of Mexican dishes. The breakfast buffet was good, too, with hot and cold items. The prices for both of those were great. Dinner for 20 people was 2429 pesos, or about $130; breakfast for 20 was 1829 pesos or $100. It wasn't far to walk to the cathedral area and lots of great sites. I didn't go out walking at night, but during the day it seemed to be a safe neighborhood. It was nice, too, that they had a computer down in the lobby that anyone could use.

Cons: The staff was friendly at first, but seemed to grow less so as I had more requests/needs. We had a large group, though, so as the coordinator, it wasn't really a lot to ask for the number of people we had (I wasn't just being high maintenance). Part of the issue may have been that their English wasn't so good and my Spanish isn't so good. Whatever it was, it wasn't the best experience of service. Also, the street seemed noisy at night, but as we went to other towns, by comparison, it wasn't. Mexico is just kind of a noisy place.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location close to downtown Guadalajara and the underground parking for our car. Double rooms are very large with enough space to work on computers. You can open windows and the floors are tiled.
Cons: The first night we had a room with only one queen size bed which was too small for the two of us and the hotel was fully booked so they changed us to a larger room next day. Also, the first room faced the back where very loud disco music was heard until 6 a.m. (supposedly the disco has to close at 2.00 a.m.),
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The receptionists are all very nice people, always willing to help. The place is very clean, good AC and hot running water with great pressure. Enclosed parking lot. Perfect location- walking distance from the touristic center and the metro. There is an small convenience store right on the corner. The best price-quality ratio. Totally recommended.
Cons:
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything very good. Especially the staff are great, very very helpful! The location is safe and walking, in 10 mins you are in the city center. Breakfast was good. Rooms are spacious. Wifi works very good!
Cons: All was good!

Pros: The location was amazing, close to all the main places for my visit
Cons: The room was kind of small
6.0 Good
Pros: Staff is super friendly and will try their best to please you. grsuoer nice and happy staff.
Cons: breakfast not included, Internet barely works, cable doesn't work most of time, AC wasn't working well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The cost and location were great, and the staff was very helpful. The rooms were also quite comfortable.
Cons: The bed sheets could have been longer, and occasionally there might be a problem getting something to work perfectly.

Pros: - The place is amazing. - Rooms are amazing. - The view is amazing.
Cons: - The staff is really willing to help but at some moments not really effective. (Room cleaning, check in lasted for 3 hours (this is for real), 3 (quite pricy) underwear lost in the hotel laundry. - I got good experiences as well but a big effort has to be made in the service organisation. - The basic breakfast and every time you ask something they charge you extra for it. Even for an expresso or a sparkling water.

Cons: Our rooms (we booked 2) were flooded with a rainstorm, I slipped and fell and hurt myself. My husband called the front desk to ask for ice since I couldn't move, and after 10 minutes he called again because no one come up to our room. My mom had to go down to the front desk herself and she ended up bringing up the ice herself. I am bruised and sore til this day. Breaks my heart because I grew up staying at this hotel and I am the one who insisted on staying here, and had fond memories. It was my husband's first time visiting and needless to say, we will not be returning in the future. Please fix the leaky ceilings in your suites. So no one else slips and falls.

Cons: I love it
3.0 Mediocre
Pros:
Cons: Room too hot no ac bathroom too uncomfortable water in the shower wasn’t going down
1.0 Poor
Pros: Centrally located, colonial buiding - but the central location was really the big disadvantage because of intolerable noise.
Cons: We could not sleep because of noise coming from the main square and the street. At 4:40, they began to test extremely powerful loudspeakers on the main square, and three times alarms went off. While one cannot blame the hotel for that, the WINDOWS TO THE STREET ARE NOT ISOLATED AND EVERY SOUND ENTERS as if you are sleeping on the street. The windows don't close properly, and there is a part where there is no glass at all (just mosquito net). Really untolerable, and this was supposed to be a higher quality (and certainly more expensive) room!. Next morning, we wanted to cancel the second night, but they did not allow us to do so. A manager to speak to was not available . An alternative room in the inside was equally unacceptable, small rooom with no window at all! We moved to the nearby NH Hotel (very good!), but had to pay the second night at the Frances even though we could not use it. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location. Beautiful building. Very helpful staff. Unusual, interesting room.
Cons: The bedspreads were a little worn and the furniture in the room was a little worn out too.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a historic hotel, close to other historic buildings, lots of food nearby.
Cons: I didn’t like the fact that hotel has no air conditioner and room was hot.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: La ubicación

Pros: The hotel is perfectly located within the downtown historic area and the staff were very nice. They were willing to meet an exceed all our requests.
Cons: Room features were dated. There was an iron; however, no ironing board. There was a blow dryer; however, it did not function. Lastly, the running water we used for showering IS NOT potable, or usable, for brushing your teeth. I made the mistake of brushing my teeth with that water. The taste is worse than hose water. Even after attempting to run the water and let the pipes clear of any possible sediment, the taste was absolutely horrendous.

Pros: The underglow on the lamp was cool.
Cons: Shower and restroom is beyond tiny. Bed was rock hard and NOT king size. My 6'3 husband hung off the end of the bed. Water never got hot. Room is tiny and dirty. Sheets and towels were visibly stained. Our shampoos weren't full and lotion was opened. They cleaned our room anyways when we had put the do not disturb sign on the door. wifi is poor. view is horrible. area is ghetto. We booked somewhere else before we were in this hotel for 24 hours. They don't even given a facial towel. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Pros: The staff is very friendly. The beds are comfy. Clean hotel and great rooftop.
Cons: The TV has no language options. Many places have a better option of channels and can be changed to English. Maybe also think about adding Netflix to the TV, to allow customers to sign into their accounts. The rooftop is great but the pool is freezing cold. Solar cover option or something for children can actually enjoy swimming.
