Liverpool hotels near Cunard Building

Cons: It says car parking , which is misleading , there's a multi storey just down the road

Cons: Parking is a couple of blocks away, no food on site but rooms have kitchenette. Room was comfortable, but no place to hang out except lobby.

Cons: Didn't like the wait at breakfast, my wife and others waited nearly 15 minuets for bacon at the hot plate and I ordered a plain omelette and waited nearly 15 minuets, that put a dampener on the departing, at the time it really wasn't busy.

Cons: Service (front desk, bar, and concierge) did not match otherwise outstanding facility. Distance from downtown perhaps made ready cab or Uber service a little longer than normal. Staff appeared newly hired and perhaps less experiences in how things were supposed to work. Tried hard but had to seek directions from others. Given time on the job, expect service will improve. Would give another try.

Cons: The restaurant really lets the side down. Unclean glasses and cutlery and the food isn’t to the standard it should be

Cons: Having to pay extra £10 an hour for the spa facility.

Cons: I didn't like the fact that you have to pay £20 pp to use the leisure and spa facilities. A little disappointing on an otherwise perfect hotel experience.

Cons: I could not get in to the restaurant because they were full.

Cons: Staff was incredibly unhelpful - they ignored my wife as she struggled with two bags through the doors and up the 10-12 stairs required to get into the hotel. One of the same people who ignored her later made an extra effort to walk over and stop us from walking down a staircase to view the Beatles memorabilia. Overall, the experience was off-putting.

Cons: Bathrooms very dark. Bad lighting. Breakfast selection ok at best

Cons: Check in was confusing, person at the counter acted as if it was her first hour on the job. Went to lounge for a drink, was hoping to hear beatles music... after all, we were staying at the Hard Days Night Hotel. They were playing beatles music, but it was so soft we could barely hear it (and not because there were so many people talking, there were only 4 people in the lounge). I asked them to turn it up, which they did ever so slightly. Still only soft background music. We were not looking for loud, just something we could hear without straining. Had yet another bad experience with concierge (Kevin). We had purchased tickets to the Cavern Club Beatles tribute band show through the hotel. Asked Kevin when we should plan to arrive for the 8 PM show to be sure we got seats (explaining that I had read on line that seating was limited and you had to arrive early to get seats even if you had purchased tickets). Kevin dismissed my concern, saying we just had to be there at 8 and handed us the tickets. When we got to the room I read the tickets, they also said that seating was limited and that a ticket didn't guarantee a seat. Decided to ignore Kevin's guidance and it was a good thing we did. We arrived at 7, people were already lined up. By the time the doors opened (7:45) the place was full of people lined up to get in. We got a seat, but had we listened to Kevin we would have been standing for the entire show, which ended just after midnight.

Cons: Breakfast is served from 09:00, which I personally think is too late.

Cons: Ended up goin home early hours in morning as bed was vile had dirty sheets looked like the beds hadnt been changed would never stay their again

Cons: Old building that needs to be renovated. Bathroom sink and tub (no shower) are from the 1950s with the porcelain sink badly damaged.

Cons: The lift and bathrooms are very old. Also the way people stand outside to smoke

Cons: One of our rooms was nice comfy and beautiful. The other had the worst beds with popping springs I’ve ever stayed in

Cons: Bouncers posted at doors in evening extorting customers for money before letting them into rooms

Cons: Slow service, cramped dining area, old fashioned facilities and aged appearance
