Perfect! I haven't a bad word to say about base2stay.
loved everthing bout the hotel 1 of the best city centre hotels ive stayed cool trendy very central good local discounted carparking and very friendly staff will definatly be back! nuthin it was top notch!
This is a very new hotel voted 1 on Trip Advisor. I visit Liverpool often and have stayed in many hotels. The room was very clean, high-tec design was ok - good to be close to s many places of interest. Good bathroom. Awful air-con, cold air blowing directly onto the bed all night was very poor - very little sleep! Staff unable to fix? Alternative room offered seemed to have a similar problem - no upgrade suggested/offered to compensate. Single room was the size of a large cupboard, bathroom almost as big.........? I hope the double rooms are bigger?
I absolutely loved this hotel! I slept in for my flight and a member of staff came n woke me up! helped me to pack my stuff! seriously beautiful hotel! Around the corner from d main party square and two minutes away from the main shopping area! go here! the staff are amazing!
It was very close to everything! The bus station, the nightlife, restaurants and the shops were all within 5 minutes walking time or less! :) We couldnt open our window and the room just felt a teeney bit claustrophobic because of it!
Comfortable bed, good facilities and very friendly staff The room would be greatly improved by the addition of an easy chair and a toothbrush holder or glass in the bathroom. Only 2 teabags left which seems pretty mean spirited, I'm sure you can afford more.
Huge bed , high ceilings , overall good sized clean and comfortable Very pleasant and helpful staff It says car parking , which is misleading , there's a multi storey just down the road
Excellent location, staff were friendly, rooms were very modern, clean and provided all necessary amenties. Shower was excellent.
Friendly helpful staff, stylish room Traffic noise, no airconditioning
The room was ver nice and the staff extremley pleasant and helpful Not a complaint but note that if you go on a weekend then you should make a reservation for your meal
Great location.Room had fantastic views over the city. Staff were very professional.
The wooden roll top bath on the mezzazine floor and all the wooden beams Nothing
quiet location and very friendly and helpful staff. nothing to do with hotel, but other guests banging doors late in the night!
lack of privacy in the bathroom, maybe some frosted glassin the lower window panes!
Peaceful surrounding no
Large room Would give it a miss. Website looks better than reality
The rooms were fantastic, minimalist decor, big wet room bathroom, huge and very comfortable king-size bed. View wasn't good (another building) but had the best sleep there I've had in ages! Food also excellent and great meeting room/function room on 5th floor with panoramic floor-to ceiling view of city. Would certainly recommend. Great service too.
central position room too hot . could not control heat
Boutique style of the hotel, location and friendly reception staff. Service in the restaurant was very poor, despite being quiet. Yet the food itself was excellent.
Sharon on reception was lovely, she couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfast was excellent and good value at £6 all in. The location is brilliant for a shopping trip. There was noise from a local club until 4.30 am on Saturday night. It wasn't loud and most people would probably sleep through it, but it kept me awake.
I loved the rooms. Very stylish and cosy! I did not like the noise. One of the noisiest hotels i have ever stayed in. I normally dont mind noise all that much but between loud music (which actually wasnt that bad probably because of our room location) the shouting on the street at 3am and the work on the street from 8am.
It was more like staying in an up market funky apartment as apposed to a hotel it was great The lift, very old fashioned and very noisy to guests
Trendy boutique hotel and room nothing
extremely good natured natured staff It was intolerably noisy. First from band recording in studios then from neighbouring nightclub The bathroom floor was not clean. I could not access the internet, which I needed for wor
we loved the design of the building and the furnitures, and is amazing go downstairs and have something to drink and live stage set. beatiful! just they may have more care in the room cleaning
A good atmosphere,friendly staff,well located.
Room was very clean and comfortable and central At times the noise was a bit too much. Our room was beside the lift and the noise from the lift was loud and in operation all through the night.
The room was fantastic, staff were helpful and hotel was at excellent location. It looks like like an old factory outside, but like they say... 'don't judge a book by its cover'!
Welcoming and freindly staff. Good breakfast. Good bar/club in the basement.
Room had a lot of extras which was good to see. Renovations taking place at the time. No electricty in the room on a couple of occasions! Better option would have been to close until work completed. Room was cramped and decor looked tired and worn, needed updating. Would not recommend until work completed.
fast wireless internet, good breakfast, some rooms have been renowated and look really up-to-date quite noisy in the room, only 5 TV channels,
it's a traditional english inn but surprisingly it is very very clean and comfy eventhough the room is a bit small and cramped. the toilet looks quite new and clean. the breakfast is very nice.
shower room excellent. Breakfast food, cutlery and service excellent. Double bed uncomfortable and small.
Didn't spend much time there, but the staff was helpful and nice, the beds were comfortable and their scrambeled eggs perfect! The space in the dining room was a bit too small,- it was difficult to get seated at the table in the morning.
The location was perfect for the occassion which was to see art in the Liverpool Biennial and to visit tourist attractions such as the museums at Albert Dock. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming and the included breakfast was generous. The checkout time of 10.30 am seemed a bit tight, though they were good about us leaving our bags.
The central position Hotel was cramped, both rooms and dining room
The rooms were fairly large and the entire hotel was reasonably comfortable---more like a large B and B than a business hotel The hotel was overpriced
Great little hotel, well situated for shopping and sights and very close to Lime Street Station.Reserved a double room but were given the The Studio which would have been perfect for a family with 1 double, 1 single and a sofa bed very spacious and with a lovely bathroom. Excellent value, spotlessly clean and good breakfast included.
friendly staff, great location, character no lift
Clean smart hotel, cheap as chips, yet good value, didnt have much time 2 stay and sample much else,as we arrived late and departed early, due to early morning flight, but overall a nice wee hotel in a handy enough location for seeing the fine city of Liverpool Nothing
I have stayed here before and went back because we knew it was goog value. Only a 10 minute walk to liverpool one and all the shops. We were able to come back in the evening and relax in the nice bar area lookin out at the mersey. A lovely few days away. There was a lot of noise during the night from a group of friends fighting. Though this was not the fault of the dolby and they did apologise in the morning.
the staff, breakfast,& location the bed was uncomfortable
Please write at least 15 words
good value and convenient location
The view of the dock and the fact that breakfast was optional and reasonable
location and access unfortunately too much noise at 3.45 AM
breakfast was good and pleasant surroundings whilst eating. maybe the stairways/corridors could be brought up to a better standard, felt a bit dirty when walking through, decor tired carpets etc.
The amazing helpful and friendley staff. Wierd bathroom
we were able to walk to closeby attractions of the city of liverpool n/a
