The Shuttle Driver was awesome , very helpful & knowledgeable. Staff was busy helping people who did not complete the online forms, but moved quickly through customers. Return was very easy and the shuttle Lady was right there to get us going. No hassle what so ever. Email instructions were clear and precise, pick up area was well marked and safe. Office was air conditioned and cool With plenty of seats. My midsized car was a Chevy impala , it was clean, ran well and was easy on gas.Reviewed 12 Jun 2026

I felt like I got nickeled and dimed. So many extra charges. Even though the listing said unlimited miles, I could only drive 50 per day for free, after that there was a charge. Or I could have upgraded to unlimited miles. Proof of insurance required. They also require knowing your deductible.Reviewed 7 Jun 2026

The shuttle driver that picked me up was Amazing(Ella?)!!! The one that dropped me off was horribly rude! While trying to return the car(yes I read the extensive directions) I tried pulling into the lot and was screamed at to back up and when I didn’t immediately because there was a car behind, she started waving her arms and shaking her head. I finally turned into the lot and then she said I didn’t listen to her and parked wrong. And this is a very tight lot and I’m driving a big pick-up truck and there was no other place to park. The young lady who took the keys and checked me out was polite. Clearly this is not a rental car agency. The place is a weird location and looks more like a repair shop. I was given a very large work pick-up truck regardless that I said it was for only 1 person. And I get its dealer’s choice but had I known it could be this big truck, I would have booked elsewhere. When I asked for anything smaller I was told nothing was available. The truck was not clean and smelled of smoke, regardless that it says, no smoking. I would never use this place again as it set a very bad tone for the beginning and ending of my trip.Reviewed 3 Jun 2026

Couldn’t tell you the full experience because we left the lot without the car. In addition to what was paid ahead of the scheduled pick-up time, we were asked for an additional deposit which wouldn’t be a problem if they had a tap feature on their card reader. The antiquated POS system left us with no choice but to go to a competitor to get a rental car. The blame doesn’t land entirely on NU Car, as I should’ve kept at least one credit card, not debit card, with me, on vacation.Reviewed 12 May 2026

All the fees should be posted on the web site not when you get. And you have no choice to pay for them, after coming off a long flight. The car company is still in the stone ages aira when they promote to be in the modern age. This is taking advantage of the customer, the phone number they give you doesn't even work it's a fax machine number and they play dumb about it. Next time all get a taxi for the price they charge. I would say more but it probably won't get anywhere, so I'm not going to write more issues I had. Very disappointed with rental company and web site 😒Reviewed 28 Apr 2026

I paid via kayak for $96 insurance that the NU Cars representative didint see on their end and was asking for $7,500 deposit or making me purchase their insurance for $250 so the deposit was $1,750. Not fair, would like to get the $96 refunded.Reviewed 2 Apr 2026
