10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a small family run place and was a joy to arrive at. With a beautiful lounge you could sit in and enjoy a warm fire with a drink, friendly staff and in a great location. The room I selected was perfect; a beautiful bath; walk in shower and a huge bed. Very happy to find this hidden gem and would certainly recommend. Much different to staying in the faceless chain hotels that I am used to.
Cons: It was a nice treat, which justified the cost. However they seem to have a slight monopoly on the area as there was not much choice but to spend more than I would normally.

6.0 Good
Pros: Excellent breakfast, food overall good. Central location. Receptionist very helpful. Nice Georgian Building
Cons: Dining process very formulaic. Have to receive menu in bar, not allowed into dining room until process completed. Not great when they forget to give you the menu. Some fittings very tired, e.g. silicon coming away from wall Cost, thought it a little dear
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was absolutely superb, from staff to the rooms and cleanliness. But although those things set it apart from other hotels, it was the restaurant that impressed us the most, I’ve eaten in all the best restaurants all over the world, with my work, but I have to say the food was better than anything I’ve ever tasted, compliments to the chef, what a diamond. Respect also to all the staff waiting on, the timing in between courses was exquisite, I would recommend the hotel and restaurant to anyone including my clients, what an absolute gem of a place Steve Weaver
