San Antonio hotels near Aztec Theatre

Cons: My dresser was difficult to close, but it didn't bother me enough to report it until I checked out. No other complaints at all.

Cons: Very slow elevators. Unfortunately we were leaving the same time a large group from a convention was checking out and the 3 elevators could not keep up with the demand.

Cons: Only valet parking. Inconvenient for us

Cons: Room smelled like chlorine when I came in, and the water tasted heavily chlorinated. The room was a bit poorly lit, and the windowsill outside the room was consistently overrun with pigeons. Glasses as opposed to plastic cups would be preferred (for the environment), and a safe to lock up valuables would have been nice. (I prefer not to have to take my passport with me everywhere.)

Cons: Elevator use was impossible, walked down stairs from 15th floor with luggage.

Cons: Need better pillows. Firm ones.

Cons: The hotel was at FULL CAPACITY and completely booked and although I don't have a huge problem with this as it pertains to the pandemic, it does seem like the hotel is not designed (or managed well enough) to support a full capacity crowd.

Cons: they charged my card $482 dollars for parking when it was only supposed to be $46. Took them a week to refund the money and then they still charged me for the parking!! What a joke! Where is the coustomer service?

Cons: As a downtown hotel, they have parking in a city lot which is certainly going to be very busy and crowded in normal tourist times in downtown San Antonio.

Cons: Couldn't get the room cool enough. Didn't sleep very well due to the room not being cool enough. Very humid.

Cons: Hotel was dated. Too expensive for what we got. Upon return to our room we discovered our AC was not working. Front desk sent up a tech but he couldn't fix it. So they gave us a fan.... No one from mgmt contacted me and no apologies. Just nothing. I paid less for my room at the beautiful La Cantera the night before.

Cons: Restaurant prices.

Cons: I had a spa service at the spa that is not owned by the hotel, but located inside the hotel on the River Walk level. It was not a good experience and then I was overcharged for it.

Cons: I think having breakfast included like other chains do would be a nice addition

Cons: The roof deck pool wasnt heated - quite chilly up there!

Cons: sound proofing. With construction across the street waking you up at 6:40 am, easily hearing the conversations of others in the hall ways and flushing of toilets, sleep was easily disrupted. shower tub and carpet had stains/not fully cleaned. bathroom fixture groves had visible dust collected. really small pool, not sure if its that i'm from Miami, Fl where there is many pools. its about the size of the elevator hallway and maybe 4 ft deep.

Cons: I paid for a balcony overlooking the river and the hotel doesn't even offer them. They told me that sites like yours are known for promising things that don't exist. I am very disappointed with my reservation price!!!!

Cons: Room was a reasonable size but bathroom was a little bit worn. On the one day we forgot to leave a tip, the cleaning staff did a less than adequate job cleaning the room.

Cons: My only compaint about the hotel is the cost of parking. Valet parking is $40 and self parking is $30 per night. Very expensive. If you stay a few nights parking ends up costing you as much as an additional night's stay.

Cons: HAVING TO PAY FOR INTERNET AT THE BUSINESS CENTER AND FOR LOCAL CALLS. YUCK

Cons: Train noise in the early morning hours outside the hotel and noisy visitors next door and down the hall.

Cons: The fact that self parking beneath the hotel costs $30 a night!

Cons: Valet Parking was $37 + Tax = $40.00!

Cons: My room key stopped working when I returned to the room after taking a swim at the pool and had to wait wet about 10 mins till they came up and replaced the key.

Cons: I didn't like that when checking in they ask for my credit card again after I had already paid $857 online. Not knowing that valet was not included they kept trying to swipe different amounts to charge and blocked my card for suspicious faudulent charges. Terrible communication cuz they could've asked me what card I wanted to use, nothing. Also valet customer service was horrible while my sister was arriving in her vehicle with my nephews she asked for help carrying her luggage off and was ignored by valet. He could've called someone for help, but definitely not worth the money, never again

Cons: Rooms are dated with sound transmitting walls. Amenities are business travel grade without the higher end amenities expected for the price.

Cons: One if the employees seemed to have a little bit of attitide considering that all I asked for was to have shaving cream sent to my room. Other than that, everything else was fine.

Cons: My room had way too much wear and tear. The head board was all scratched up. The tub has cracked and rusted and was clogged up the water would not drain when i took a shower. The door handle was at 5 o clock instead of 3. The room did not feel like a Grand Hyatt room. It felt like i was at a cheap hotel. I suggested to the manager that that room should not be occupied untill it get fixed.

Cons: 1) I booked from a third party site which doesn't confirm you get the room you chose, it only holds a room (they don't say what kind) for you. 2) There is $40 parking that they don't tell you about (prob best to park across the street and walk). 3) there is no complimentary breakfast. Plates start at $12 a person (McDonald's is literally right around the corner). 4) the staff wasn't helpful when I asked about the room issue and why I got a diff one than I signed up for, they were more ready to give sarcasm then actually helping.5) the rooms were clean but there were still stains on the faucet and tub that looked greasy.

Cons: The room and bathroom were very small. There was also a very strong scent of perfume that was overwhelming when you walked into the hotel. We noticed it every time we came into the hotel during our stay. It was almost nauseating. Parking was expensive. It was the week of Thanksgiving and the front desk seemed to be severely understaffed.

Cons: Room was a bit musty. Breakfast was not as we expected. Ran out of some of the items and some of the hot items were cold. Fairly disappointed for the amount we paid for the breakfast buffet.

Cons: I did not like that you had to pay for parking. Your paying a price you would think that that would be included. Also there was no mini fridge in the room for food.

Cons: The room was 80 degrees went we got to the room. The AC struggled to cool the room which never cooled down. The hallways were Hotter than that. The bar closed too early on a Saturday night too! We will never stay there again! Plus I had to park my F250 across the street because my stock pick up wouldn’t fit in the parking garage! Really

Cons: The room felt like it needed to be steam cleaned with bleach... The room appeared to be updated sometime in the early 2000. But has not been maintained well. The bed was as hard as the floor. The shower head was loose and the bathroom smelled of old urine. We ordered Breakfast to our room the first morning. The breakfast was good and when we where ready to leave for the day I called to let the staff know so they could come up and clean our room. We where gone the entire day and come back to the same mess we left that morning... At 250 a night plus 30 a night valet parking This should have never happened. That night I went to drink a water bottle the staff provides for you in the room and there was no seal on the lid on either bottle. The cleaning person didn't even bother to change our water bottles. just filled them up with tap water and called it a day. If you are looking for a clean room with basic hotel services I would look past this place!!

Cons: I think the parking at $30 a night is a little too pricey.

Cons: Outdated hotel facility and Kayak's incorrectly rated hotel stars do not match the overpriced money for my stay.

Cons: The building is old and the rooms show it. My first night there was a some fan, or machinery noise that made it impossible to sleep. I was able to switch rooms that night which was nice. One morning I had no hot water. The staff listened, but didn't seem concerned about it. I only had one breakfast at the hotel restaurant, but it was quite underwhelming and definitely not worth paying for.

Cons: He AC worked but never properly cooled the room. I was uncomfortable my stay.

Cons: I thought the valet was overpriced and they should at least allow one free parking per reservation

Cons: Parking was difficult. I wish the stay came with parking instead of having to use valet. I had to pay for valet and to park right outside each day as I have to have quick access to my car. Although it was a nice hotel, I won't be staying here again.
