Although Šibenik doesn’t have its own airport, you can fly to Split Airport (SPU), which is located 39 km from Šibenik. The shortest flight to Šibenik from the United Kingdom departs from London and takes around 2h 30m.

Train

Train is the most popular train carrier serving Šibenik, followed by ÖBB. The train journey from Šibenik to Vienna takes 15h 01m and costs around £43 for a one-way ticket. When coming by train from Budapest, expect to pay about £83 for a 17h 53m trip.

Another option to get to Šibenik is to pick up a car hire from Split, which is about 50 km from Šibenik. You’ll find branches of Sixt and Garage No 1, among others, in Split.
