Location Starting at 9a.m. house keeping knocked on the door awakening me even though the do not disturbed sign was on the door.
Lovely Rooms. Convienent Location. The staff were completely unprofessional and tacky. I felt as though I was dealing with teenagers working at Abercrombie & Fitch, instead of trained receptionists. You would have thought THEY were the guests and I inconvenienced them. Ridiculous.
The staff was absolutely top notch, from the bellman to the front desk to the courtesy shuttle driver and especially valet!! The hotel and the room were beautiful and very clean! My friend and I booked spa services at the sister W hotel downtown and a room through the Buckhead location. I have only amazing things to say for both. A++!!

My girlfriend and I spent a weekend in the city and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The room was perfect for our needs, it was clean and everything was as we expected. It was convenient to several restaurants and shopping. would definitely consider straying here again. Parking is probably my biggest issue, it's a little too expensive and wish it could be complimentary to guests.
Almost everything was perfect except the size of the room for a family of 4. The food arrived to the room not hot but a little cold from room service. Room size was small for a family of four. Beware if your flight arrives early check-in time is at 3pm!!!
This was the worse hotel experience of my life!!! They had overbooked the hotel by a large number of guest and had to make arrangments for us at another hotel. The hotel was not in the location we wanted and they did not call and let us know ahead of time of the change so that we could arrive earlier instead of having to go half way across town to stay. The ast. Manager on duty was not appologetic and did not seem to care. I took it as this was a normal occurance by the way they acted.
Room location was great, nice friendly staff, clean, well-run. Parking is expensive and you have no other choice.

Embassy Suites Atlanta-Buckhead stands ideal location close to MARTA railroad station that takes us an easy access to downtown and Atlanta Airport.
The room itself was decent and clean. The indoor water features were quite pretty. Upon arrival there were a couple of ladies dressed in very little walking back and forth in front of the hotel. That should have been my first sign that this was not going to be a good hotel for my family. I checked into the hotel and went out to the valet and requested a luggage cart. I was told that there were no luggage carts available. We waited about 30 minutes then I went inside to ask the front desk. I was told that sometimes guests hold those carts inside their rooms and they had no way of locating them. The lady seemed rather miffed that I had even asked her for a cart. The hotel has three elevators one of which is out of service. several times my family wound up taking the stairs instead of elevators because the wait was so long just to get an elevator. The inside pool area was not kept clean. My family tried a few times to take advantage of the cooked to order breakfast but the line was impossible long even at 6 a.m. by 10 a.m. we gave up and decided to stop elsewhere to eat. By far this was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at definitely not what I was expecting in the Buckhead area, For sure this place has been added to my list of places to steer clear. The only staff members which did not act as though we were a bother were the bartenders during happy hour otherwise the front desk staff and many of the other workers seemed to really just not be happy individuals.

the staff was professional in both appearance and manner. the room was exellent for the getaway my wife n i needed. not too bussiness-like but soft n comfortable for the atmosphere we desired.

The fitness centre had up to date machines and all were easily accessible. The only option for parking was valet that came at a premium price.
I liked the room and location I didnt like the employees they were rude and unfriendly. I felt like my energy was drained by the workers. I wasn't welcome with a smile, no one one had answers to the questions i asked.

OK hotel with a good service. Placed in an area which can be called a hotel ghetto with only a lot of hotels and uninteresting shops, some closed because of the financial crisis.
I know this is silly, but the late night room service menu is lacking for good snacks and included mostly salads and sandwiches. Not exactly what most people would look for on a late night menu! Parking is expensive and wifi is only free for 24 hours.
Friendly helpful staff I stayed in two different rooms that were smelly - one smelled musty, the other smelled like marijuana smoke. We didn't enjoy that.

Clean, nice pool and walking distance for most bars/restaurants. Although the booking sites claim "free wifi" and "parking", both are additional. Parking is 30 dollars a night and wifi is 12 dollars a day. When we came in the man who checked us in reassured us of this when giving us our keys. the lady who checked is out was very persistent about us paying parking per night. Essentially if you stay for a week expect a 210 dollar fee. This is not the valet fee, just parking deck fee. The woman at check out was very rude about this charge.
The rooms were beautiful and the staff was very attentive One of the night front desk staff members said something rude to our group when we arrived home.

Clean Location proximity to my office location Approachable-ness of staff Asked for a quiet room, they confirmed a quiet room. After a late arrival, I was awoken at 07:00 the next day to jack hammering and drilling from the room next door, which continued until I complained at 08:00 (front desk did not appear to be aware, needed to contact engineering). Room service forgot to include bring one of the items that was ordered and itemized on the bill until after I pointed it out that the item was missing.
I love staying at the Grand Hyatt ! The staff always remembers us and are always so helpful, the food is great, they have a very nice bar area that we enjoy coming to after dinner, and once you get there you really don't have to get back in your car because the driver can take you most places!! A great place to stay for a weekend!

Valet was pleasant. Under-staffed and over-booked - best bud and his 12 year old son were bumped. Room was not cleaned the first day. No mini-bar. Very low water pressure in the shower. Overall, very average hotel but is priced to complete with the Ritz and Four Seasons.

We loved the staff they were all very helpful and attentive. The ambiance was nice and it was great that Lenox mall was connected to the hotel and Marta was literally accross the street. My only complaint is that the room didn't have a fridge or microwave and the pillows are too firm.
This is completely out of your control, but the traffic & amount of people walking around was what I did not enjoy. I didn't realize this hotel was attached to a mall, or I would not have booked.

I really liked the room and the overall feel of the hotel. From the moment I pulled up the entire staff was rude and not service oriented. The security guard outside was very rude which may have influenced my overall attitude. Then I get inside and the front desk clerk was very abrupt and also rude. It seemed like my family and I were an inconvience to her. She was having what sounded like a personal conversation and we interrupted her. The next two days the front desk personnel were very polite and helpful. The young lady who checked us out was great.
Location Listing didn't mention valet parking only. Also asked for clean towels at the front desk because fresh towels were not in the room even after 12 pm. You should just send the towels to the room, whether the guest is going out or not. Don't hand the guests the towels. Also at these prices I would say lotion should be provided along with the other complimentary shampoo and conditioner. It doesn't make sense that it's not.

Niether the front desk, or the valet guys, had change for a $20 bill, so tipping was difficult.
Great location The housekeepers left the door open, perhaps all day after cleaning. Fortunately nothing was stolen. Very noisy hotel. Not a place to stay if you want to get some rest at night.

The location was great, as the neibourghood was safe, clean. Hotel is easily reached from metro station, e.g., travel fro Airport to hotel is very cheap, esay and fast. The bedding is extremely comfortable I had room booked in advance, also as extention for one additional night, what created a lot of problems, as there were no communication between receptionists, I had to tell the story feew times, and still, the room card was blocked for the last day. Also, bathroom supplies such as shapoo etc were not replaced. Hotel staff used one trick, knocking on the door and offering drinking water what we thought was nice, before we found during check-out, that we were charged for this.
I like the shuttle that was available and the drivers were very respectful. The staff was very friendly and made my stay very comfortable. The washing machine door had to be kept pushed down to be able to work.It was a hassle to have to stand by the washing machine and hold the door down.

Best value for money in the Atlanta Buckhead area, as it is incredibly central, and yet in a quiet location. The welcome cookie, the wonderful staff, the cozy room (adequately equipped with iron and ironing board and complimentary coffee and coffee machine), all recommend this hotel for people who search quality for a reasonable price.
Location was good.. Facillity and rooms were clean and roomy. Restaurant prices were pretty reasonable Parking is really complicated. It is neither convenient nor economical. You either have to pay for valet parking or walk around the corner to pakr it yourself in a garage. If you park yourself you pay 'full day' price every time you pull in and out. Or at least that's how I understood it. The hotel should just charge some reasonable price $10 a day and let you come in and out as your activities require. They nickel and dime you to death. The valet parks a number of cars in the driveway for his convenience. I ended up scratching my rental car on a post because I could not get by the double line of parked 'valet' cars. Breakfast service is confusing. You walk in and you don't know what to expect. No greeter, not enough waitresses. . had to wander around trying to figure out how to get some coffee (twice).

Location is awesome, everything you need is within walking distance The bathroom is TINY! It's difficult to even enter the bathroom due to how close the toilet is to the bathroom door (less than an inch clearance when opening & closing door...no joke)!! And the toilet is WAY to close to entrance to shower! And speaking of showers...it's very small too!!
Everything about the Hyatt Place Atlanta Buckhead was excellent. The staff, breakfast and housekeeping were outstanding. There wasn't anything I didn't like about my stay!

Staff was friendly, but wasn't very on top of things. Also, walked in at 4 in the afternoon to room service just getting to our room. They also neglected to take the towels that we had to use to clean the toilet overflow. Had a clogged toiled that flooded to the floor, and it took the staff over an hour and a half to even send someone up to the room.
Location. Nothing with communication was working: telephone, computer... Then no receipt. Vending machines didn't work. Breakfast area too small.
The location is within walking distance to several restaurants and shopping. The beds and pillows are awesome! The walls are pretty soundproof so you don't hear a lot of outside noise. Someone pulled the fire alarm at 7am on Sat. morning and made me late to my 8am class.

I liked the location I hate that the parking lot was very small, only allowing parking for maybe 30 cars and if you didn't get one of those spots you had to walk a block or two to another parking lot. Its even worst when its cold!!
The process of getting a room key took unusually long. And then the door to the room assigned to us would not open with the key provided. Took at least half an hour to sort out the problem and just get into the room.
The rooms are getting pretty shabby and could do with a renovation...or at least new carpet.
