I ended up paying almost double the prepaid amount. Much of that is my fault for forgetting car seats but hidden fees made up the rest. Getting the car was also a hassle as there was a mix up between what car I was assigned and what was in the actual spot. We waited in line for pickup for over an hour, having reserved and paid for our rental in advance. If we hadn't already paid, we would have never waited in that line and would have gone with a different company (perhaps the one without a line). BUDGET= excruciating line. First, the line at the counter was ridiculous. Should not take that long for people who reserve a car ahead of time. Secondly, the online quote was deceiving. By the time I paid at the counter it was double the price. For the price I paid I should’ve received something nicer than a basic Chevy equinox. Plus the car seats were junk. What a joke!
