8.0 Excellent
Pros: All your staff were absolutely amazing.
Cons: If I was to be critical, the menu, a simple printed sheet in black and white, in the restaurant did let the pleasant food down. It also didn't clearly show which options were vegetarian. The breakfast could benefit with a vegetarian sausage/ stuffed mushroom.

7.1 Good
Pros: Staff were great and very helpful. Food was also pretty good.
Cons: Little things: bedside lights didn’t work properly; top of bed head jutted out causing me to bang my head - more than once! The shower I used was scalding hot! There were no simply instructions on what knob did what, and even when it was on full it wasn’t a very strong flow of water. I was offered a better room for the last night, but I couldn’t really be bothered changing for just one night.

7.0 Good
Pros: Just stayed for one night and it was everything we wanted - liked the emergency box in the room!
Cons: In the middle of nowhere
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything had been thought of from a torch on the room key to an umbrella in the room. It was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and welcoming
Cons: I suspect it could be a little noisy when full and TVs turned on - walls were a little thin although we didn't have a problem.
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice enough stopover. Ease of access to Rutland Water. Comfortable bed, nice shower and bath, tea / coffee in the room, rural setting, probably lovely to sit outside in the summer, lots of car parking, dog walks from the door, very clean, seating areas in the room.
Cons: Very bad WiFi at all times. No meals available on the night of arrival. Circumstances applied but we could have received advance notice? Booked breakfast for our room the following day as we were not supposed to leave the dogs in the room alone. Next day it did not arrive and we were subsequently told that they do not do breakfast in the room. Other meals can apparently be brought to the room for a £3 charge - not very clear really. Not sure why the member of staff did not say this the night before. Other guests all left their dogs in their rooms - so not sure why the rule applies. I was definitely not leaving our dogs in the car as advised by the staff. The walls really are thin. If you stay then hope for considerate neighbours.

Pros: When we arrived the Christmas lights were out and they were amazing it was like a winter wonderland! At breakfast my baby spilled coffee everywhere but the staff were lovely and helped to clean it up and couldnt do enough for us, the local food was a really nice touch too. And loved all the extras in the room, like the biscuits, bubble bath and emergency box. I would suggest putting in spare toothbrushes into the emergency box though. Definitely will stay again, thankyou!

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was excellent and very clean rooms
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I regularly stay away from home due to work commitments and always provide feedback on where I stay. It is rare for me to score a 10 on everything but in this case I have to, as the White Horse is exceptional all round. Set in a lovely rural location, it is easy to find, has a spacious car park and looks very welcoming from the outside. Check in was very easy and was carried out by a really friendly young lady who showed my colleague and I to our rooms. The rooms are in a separate block and are like a row of bungalows. They are spacious, warm, comfortable and extremely clean. The bar has a choice of real ales, which is always a real bonus for me. The same young lady that checked us in served me with a big welcoming smile. When I had booked originally, I had received a personal, not automated, email asking if I would like a table reserved for dinner which I have not experienced at any other place that I have stayed. The young lady was well aware of this and gave us options of where we would like to sit. A really friendly lad came and took our order and the food was superb. We had a few more drinks and a few games of pool and the traditional, friendly country pub atmosphere was very evident. Had a very good nights sleep. At breakfast we were greeted by very lovely lady who made us feel very welcome. We were passed a message to say that the young lady behind the bar the previous evening was sorry that she missed us leaving and wished us well. That is just perfect customer service in my book. We had a great breakfast which set us up for the day, checked out and left. I wish every place that I stayed in was like this - Brilliant, thank you everybody for making our short stay so enjoyable.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was spot on.

There were no simply instructions on what knob did what, and even when it was on full it wasn’t a very strong flow of water. I was offered a better room for the last night, but I couldn’t really be bothered changing for just one night.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: No on-suite rooms. Breakfast was minimal in choice and quantity. Tired building, could do with a complete makeover. TV only received channel 4
