Toilet broken and made a loud noise every 5 min for entire trip

Location is okay - next to Port Authority, and close to subway. Very easy to get around the city from this location. Room was extremely small, but manageable. Had to wait forever in the morning to get an elevator. Very busy hotel and only four elevators. Had to wait over 15 minutes to get down to the lobbyist mornings.

Elevators are a nightmare. Had to wait 15-20 to get an elevator to/from 24th floor. Water was turned off on 2nd day from 1pm-4pm with limited notice (small sign in elevator) that you had to look for to notice. There were no options given on alternative restroom options (I was working from my room that afternoon and on Zoom calls, and had to wait 15 mins for an elevator to take a break, go downstai...

I feel I need to lower my expectations on the Hilton brand. This is the second time I booked a Hilton-owned hotel through their app and arrived to find what is basically an old motel with the Hilton name slapped on it. The bathroom door particle board was disintegrating, the towels had ragged thready edges and were quite threadbare in places, the elevators were in disrepair... overalll, for nearly...

It's barely a DoubleTree. Clean hotel, good location, excellent staff. Small rooms, slow and few elevators, linens and personal amenities below par.

While I understand that space in NY is an issue, these were the tiniest rooms I've seen since my European travels. They were also in a poor state. The bottom bathroom shelf was broken and had broken a tile and the handles on the drawers/cabinet were loose. There were issues with the elevators during our entire stay. Only 2 elevators for 27 floors and 1 was broken for about half of our days. I unde...

The location is great. Staff were nice. Facilities were terrible. The wait for the elevator sometimes took as long as 15-20 minutes. The rooms are extremely small. The shower leaked water on the floor. Overall would not recommend

The location was great but the room was very small and had a lot of issues. The curtain was broken, only half of the AC unit works and the shower pressure was awful. After bringing these issues to the front desk, an employee was sent to take a look but could not fix any of the issues; but nothing was done. They did not move our room, they did not give us a discount, just simply “I’m sorry, don’t w...

Elevators were extremely slow. Took 20 minutes just to get to my room. Rooms were small and not well maintained. Had several things broken or not working. Also the cleaning staff took my soap and didn’t refill, and also took my unopened Red Bull that I purchased and left on my desk. Overall this is an old hotel that’s not worthy of the 4 star rating. Definitely not DoubleTree caliber.
