Great service and great condition for the cars. Service either by phone and in person was really quick. Unfortunately I could not get Winter Tires for my reservation, but I was explained how can I make sure of that for the next time, and the way they work that out. So it really makes sense. Post experience on pickup. They didn’t want to take my credit card, a card I had used to rent multiple vehicles with as well as bikes hotels with no issues. Poor attitude by the manager and the ladies working made me feel uncomfortable and made me feel like they were doing me a favour and manager made me buy the Strange which I don’t want or need as my Cred card covers insurance so it Meade the value not very good anymore. Manager said if I don’t take the insurance I can rent somewhere else. Not happy at all with experience and paid $39.99 plus tax for insurance I didn’t need. Very rude one min had a car then not sure drove 4 hours to pick up car then don’t take visa debt or KOHO Mastercard wouldn’t take a cash deposit I had 3 seniors in there 80s going to the Toronto airport and almost missed there flight trying to get any other car never again will I use them or recommend themReviewed 9 Jun 2025

Issue was with Kayak and Driving Force. Kayak confirmed we had a Honda civic with unlimited milage. Driving Force does not even carry civics in Thunder Bay and although there was on truck available that day, the manager wanted to charge me $120. a day with a 100 km limit for the day. The original confirmed civic would have cost $61. I believe that as a customer with a confirmed reservation, the truck should have been rented to me for the same conditions as the civic - $61 with unlimited milage. As a result I was without a vehicle for the entire business trip. Thanks Kayak and thanks Driving Force....Reviewed 15 Sept 2024
