I prepaid but was forced to buy standard liability insurance despite me telling them I have my own insurance and declining it. The lady said it is mandatory in Texas. Came to know that was a lie. Also I booked with Visa credit card and it offers same,Reviewed 6 May 2024

This is one of the worst car rental experiences I’ve had. Kayak is terrible to get to. In spite of all the push ads I’ve received from them they have not responded and customer service telephone numbers give out wrong information and Europcar refuses to attend to my rental agreement changes stating that I’ve booked a 3rd party such as Kayak. Terrible experience, I arrived 30 mins late because of a flight delay. I attempted to contact Europcar several times with no answer. Upon arrival I was told “we gave your car away because we didn’t think you were coming”.Reviewed 30 Apr 2024

Convenient location in an older building along with a fuel station and a car wash. the rental agent was very cordial and showed me the return location (was confusing) as the building driveway had tight clearances. Return equally easy since I understood where to go. Were given a cute Citroen C3 with a six speed manual trans which was comfortable, fun to drive, and offered plenty of space for the two of us.
