Would have loved to be given an option about the cars available
Pros: Everything was easy and smooth. Almost new car and super clean. I got an Audi A4 Avant and booked a Mercedes C-class estate. Frankfurt Terminal 1
Cons: I would have loved to be given an option about the cars available without asking. I was tired and didn't think about asking what's available.

5 door estate car rental
Pros: I had missed two connecting flights on my recent trip, and my family and I were stranded in Stuttgart as all the call centers were closed. I called the call center in Europcar and they canceled my existing reservation for free and made a new one from Stuttgart, with the car to be dropped off in Frankfurt. The car was the only silver lining the whole trip. We got an Audi A4 TDI Sport and the 4 hour drive was one of the most pleasant driving experiences I've ever had, even if it lasted till 2 in the morning. Europcar was extremely flexible. They let us drop off our car seat early (ours was lost between flights and arrived 2 days into our trip) and dropping off the keys was the easiest drop off I've ever had. It was the best rental experience I've had in a long time
Cons: The car was so fast and comfortable that I didn't realize I was speeding in a 50 km/hr zone, and may have gotten a hefty speeding ticket.

Flawless rental process once we found the Hertz office.
Pros: We liked that the car came with the Swiss toll prepaid. Our check out and check-in went smoothly. However, the Hertz location in the Frankfurt airport was difficult to find to get the process going. We could have used a tutorial in using the self-start and blinker functions. We were new to this car brand. Loved the reverse/back-up camera.
Cons: Had trouble turning blinkers on and off. Brakes were touchy.

Rude customer service
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The price of the car. I upgraded the booking to an automatic car. The incharge person was rude and give me no other option but to rent their expensive car.

Check which counter your rental is at, terminal 1
Pros: Convention and price.
Cons: Customer service counter person was annoyed I spent 80 euro extra on mileage and I ask her for additional miles, she said .20 euro was not much. Was annoyed the reservation was at terminal 1 not 2, I just selected euro car
