Pros: Everyone was very helpful with information and directions. My very nice room was on the seventh floor overlooking a view of the hills and sea, and colorful apartment complexes nearby. comfortable beds, nice bedding, great bathroom, good walls prevented hearing any neighboring room activity. Many nice selections at the breakfast buffet.

Pros: my fault i got lost trying to get there , police at airport we very helpful, if you are going to see the alfama i recommend using the Metro (subway) once we got our pass and in , it was a breeze to use and hooks up with rail /bus etc.I will recommend this hotel to any of my friends . The Metro can be taken right from the airport.

Pros: The staff were so courteous. As soon as we approached the hotel, the doors were opened for us, our luggage was taken and brought to our room, at breakfast nothing was too much trouble and we used the bar and received excellent service there also.

Pros: Door and desk staff were always very helpful and friendly and let us check in very early on first day. Some distance from city centre but taxis plentiful and very reasonable. Lovely views from top floors. Airport shuffle worked well for us.

Pros: it is very nice. The room is really good, and the service is excellent. At the same time, it is very easy to take subway or go to airport.

Pros: The room was clean and well appointed. The bathroom was large and had the usual amenities. Breakfast, which was included, was a buffet that included scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon.

Pros: Rooms were kept very clean and over all, for an old building, the electricity and air conditioning functioned in all areas except for the breakfast area. The location next to the Areeiro metro stop was super convenient and there were several restaurants nearby within walking distance. I felt that the area and our rooms were very safe and secure - in this part of Lisbon and in the hotel itself.

Pros: Hotel A.S. Lisboa is in a very handy location for your visit to Lisbon. It is on the metro line going to the airport, the journey takes around 20 minutes. You can reach the city centre on foot in about 40 minutes, the Saldanha area in about 20 minutes and the Edward VII Park (and El Corte Ingles) in about 20 minutes too. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. The staff members were all very helpful, friendly and polite. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast was amazing. The choice of bread seemed endless and there was hot food (scrambled eggs, baked beans, mushrooms, vegetables) as well as a selection of hot drinks, juices, fruits, ham/salami, cheese, cakes and yoghurt. We would definitely stay there again.

Pros: Hotel is very close to the Instituto Superior Tecnico (Technical University of Lisbon), which is good if that is your location of interest. Also, the metro station is in front of the hotel door, serving two metro lines: one to the center, and one to the Park of Nations (Expo 98 location) - six stops to each location. Not very far from the airport (10-15 min by taxi, cca 10 EUROs).

Pros: The proximity to the Metro station and to the airport. The room we stayed in was quite big with two windows.

Pros: Good location, right above the metro station - 2 lines, also bus stop close to the hotel. Great view from the hotel room (8th floor) - can see down to the centre. Very nice staff at the reception desk - at any time, got city map and recommendations for city trip. Internet available for free in the lobby.

Pros: The courtesy of the staff is outstanding. They offered a lower price than the one given at the booking. When I asked for an early breakfast, they served it without hesitation.
