Pros: The lobby and pool area are great. Friendly staff. I stayed in a women's quad and a woman's 8 bunk dorm. Both very clean and orderly. Could use some minor upgrades for the seating. Since it's so humid in Florida I would suggest mildew, resistant chairs. The ones they have now trap moisture and smell a little. This hostel is located directly across the street from the bus stop, beach and boardwalk which is an easy bike ride or walk down famous Collins Ave (hotel district). The hostel rents bikes - the first 2 hours are FREE). The free daily breakfast is excellent. Fresh fruit, pastries, assortment teas, cereal and oatmeal. More than enough to fill your belly and take some for the road. There is a restaurant on site but I didn't eat there. If your budget is tight and you need a decent friendly hostel near to everything (especially if you are on foot), stay here.

Pros: Everyone was friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms look just as advertised. It is located in a quiet section and you don't have all the hustle and bustle of South Beach just a few blocks down. It is a nice quiet Hotel. They (the hotel staff) adored the fact I had my daughter with me. Not many kids there, but they treated my daughter like a princess! For the age of the hotel it is better than most of the newer hotels I have stayed at; it was very clean and the decor was very nice and mostly the bed was very comfortable. The site stated no breakfast, but the hotel has a continental breakfast every morning from 8 to 10 A.M. They have Brunch on the weekends from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. at the Creek 28 restaurant located inside the hotel, which we chose to have outside in the garden area. The Hotel also has a house cat named Dutchess, which is very friendly and my daughter loved her and made her feel at home, since we did not bring our cat with us on vacation. The pool area is nice and not crowded, nice for a morning swim before you head to the beach which is only a block away, or any other things you choose to do in the area. The parking passes from te hotel are great and can be used in surrounding areas, even at the 21st Street public beach access parking lot, beats using quarters! I highly recommend this hotel. We enjoyed it and felt like family there. I think it says alot when an 8 year old does not want to leave. :o)

Pros: Nice hotel, just off Collins Avenue and easy to get to the main parts of miami beach and south beach. Within walking distance, if you like a leisurely stroll, if not, there is a bus stop accross the street from the entrance and lots of cabs available throughout the day and night! Only one (although very large) bed in our room which was unusual for america, but all the same, quite comfortable, clean and more than adequate for all the time you actually spend in your room. The hotel's art deco restoration in the lobby was very well done. Lovely pool area and a block away from a really nice stretch of miami beach!

Fish sandwhich had maybe less than an ounce of fish for $25. Pool servers looking to gouge you charging for water, & upselling over priced cocktails. You're lucky if the food ever comes.
Room was Nice and clean however.
They wouldn't let me check in till 4pm despite me being there at 10AM and asking for early check in. Then, they locked me out at 12noon sharp and refused any sort of leeway at all. Avoid!

Pros: We were fortunate enough to have a pool/ocean view room with a balcony. The view was gorgeous, especially in the mornings as the sun moved up. The room was small but well laid out so that it didn't feel small at all. The bathroom was well designed and appointed as was the closet.
The staff was extremely friendly and although the service was somewhat continental.. we were on holiday and didn't mind things taking a bit more time.
The facility has beach access behind the pool so, you're never far from the water and sand.
We are actually from Miami and were looking to get a change of venue for Thanksgiving and this was ideal.

Pros: Location for the price was unbeatable. Free cabanas at the pool on a first come first serve basis. Staff was the most genuinely friendly out of any hotel we've ever stayed at in Miami. Bartenders were great and the breakfast was awesome. The hall is our new go to spot!

Pros: Loved the front desk staff- super helpful, amazing recommendations, the continental breakfast is awesome, the location is sweet- perfect if u are looking for less noise from ocean but just as convenient to get to beach (one block walk and boom), room was cute, spacious enough for not spending time! The price we paid was half of what others are on the strip and my opinion is to just as nice and if not nicer to stay at the hall. We would stay here again and we have stayed in three other Art Deco spots and this is the first time we have said that!!!

Pros: The pool was heated which was nice as we visited in December. The pool was definitely a highlight of our stay. It was great that we had lounge chairs reserved at the beach with towels. Complimentary water and sunblock poolside which was very helpful. Comfy bed and cozy room. Free wine and sangria which was fun and a hammock! The customer service was the most impressive part of this hotel. The staff was very friendly and willing to accommodate our every need.

Pros: Everything about the place is ascetically pleasing, staff is super nice, people are cool and laid back, I brought my three small children there and everyone treated them like they were the cool kids on the block haha. They had a ball, and we felt comfortable, being young parents it's hard to find somewhere to go that's a good balance for our type of family.

Pros: Very clean, fantastic decor but room was bit small. (Expected since the hotel is in prime location) Loved bathroom settings and amenities - robes were provided. The hotel location is super and beach in front of the hotel was amazing. Best hotel staff members - both front desk and valet. Breakfast was simple and pleasant. The pool was closed due to roof installation when I was there.
