Palm Springs hotels in Twin Palms

Cons: Restaurant was overpriced and not much of a selection. They were out of more than half the wines on the list. A little more privacy on the outdoor space of the bungalows. A workout facility would have been nice

Cons: Very loud groups during "normal quiet hours"

Cons: Very small bathroom with a shower stall only. No carpeting and the painted concrete floor is dirty and unswept. Internet access was spotty often easier to connect to the neighboring hotel's network. Stayed at the neighboring hotel before and should have return there. The higher rating encourage me to try this place. Big mistake. Parking is ample but driveway is one directional only.

Cons: Grounds and building could use updating.

Cons: The front desk was disorganized and unable to find my reservation. After telling me it was made for the wrong day, that I was mistaken and ignoring my confirmation number, it was finally found a very stressful 15 mins later. We were early (noon), so the room wasn't ready and we totally understood that and left for a friend's pool til 5p. When returning, a new agent also couldn't find our reservation. As he was flipping through random papers next to the computer I pointed out that one had my name on it but he continues flipping. I repeated myself and he gave it a closer look to see that yes indeed it was my name in bold on the top. However, we still didn't have a reservation. Our first agent returned and looked at it and then said, "Sorry I got busy and didn't put your reservation in yet." After checking in AGAIN, she started telling me how great the room she assigned us was, "one of the largest, corner, quiet" etc. I looked at her map and my hotel key and realized my room key didn't match this room she was selling. Turns out we were in a middle room with connecting doors to another room. Not spacious, not quiet and not that clean. Carpet was dirty and stained and there was absolutely nothing special to speak of. Can not see myself coming back here.

Cons: Could have looked cleaner, the pool was way too warm for hot Palm Springs. The staff seemed young and confused.

Cons: Ice machines too far away and not working. A restaurant would be nice but the quick service food is sufficient.

Cons: Breakfast was a packaged sweet roll and a juice box. Compared to the neighboring hotels (Travellodge and Royal Sun have waffles, fruit, toast and cereal) this was pretty sad. The upside was that John's restaurant does a great breakfast for under $10/head.

Cons: Useless gym

Cons: Techno music piped loud til 10pm. No sign outside, hard to find in the daytime, there's a dogleg turn to make off the main road to get into the parking lot. A big V lights up at night, easier to see. Full restaurant isn't open yet. Watch out for extra resort fee on booking. Mine was all included in the kayak and getaroom rates, but I've seen other complaints.

Cons: "Breakfast" was a Danish & juice. We had to go to the lobby everyday to have them give us new keys because our keys would never work, they called it a "glitch"... How do your keys not work the same day they give them to you? Our sheets were dirty, we had to make our own bed with the clean sheets they brought back up. The walls were dirty, shower is so small one person barley fits. My wife pretty had anixety everytime we had to go back to our room. This is not a hotel, it is a cheap motel. We will never stay here again.

Cons: They have night lamps that are high and heavy given that is an earthquake zone that can topple and hurt the bed occupants. The large pool water temperature was a bit to chilly for December.

Cons: No microwave and wifi did not work inside the room

Cons: As others have mentioned, it was very difficult to get hot water out of the shower. But when I reported it at checkout to the lady who seemed to be in charge, she seemed like she was really going to do something about it. She also said we could come back after checkout that day to use the bikes, which was really nice. However, when we came back later to use the bikes, the more junior rude guy said "Bikes are for guests only". I said we were guests last night. He said "Who said you could borrow the bikes?". I said the lady I think I just saw in the back. For that reason, he let us have the bikes. So your customer service depends on who you get. And calling a Danish and a bottle of Sunny D that the rude guy abruptly hands you a breakfast is false advertising!

Cons: Overpriced pool drinks :( Hopefully they don't increase once the entire hotel is up and running. Also, it's a little noisy, not the hotel's fault, but if you're trying to sleep in, will probably not happen. They let dogs stay in the hotel, I don't like that either. I am not a pet owner and I like to get away to get away from my noisy, dog barking 24/7 neighborhood for some barking peace and quiet. While there was not excessive barking, I was awakened by a large dog's bark. :(

Cons: Some of the towels were a little stained and the internet didn't work well at all! The sheets did not look pressed. Gave the feeling that they were not changed (even though I'm sure they were). The room got warm. No where to plug anything in the bathroom.

Cons: Our toilet was broken when we first arrived. There was a condom on the floor of our room. We saw 3 roaches in our room during our stay. "Complimentary breakfast" was a bagel and cream cheese with watered down coffee or a little juice. The carpets were extremely dirty. Wifi was horrible.

Cons: Rooms need touching up, starting to look a little beaten up. Booked online and stay came with breakfast. I asked when I was given the breakfast tickets if that included all breakfast items on the menu and was told yes. When we went to have breakfast the next day we were told otherwise. A little embarrassing and disappointing. Servers were unapologetic and made us feel dumb.

Cons: Pool was super dirty an towels were Soooo old and smelly!

Cons: Breakfast room full of kids creaming and crying out loud. Didn't expect too many kids at hotel. Other than that it's good overall.

Cons: AC wasn't up to the task at night.

Cons: Under construction, unorganized, trying to do too much all at once. Toilet and shower issues, had to move rooms, they did upgrade us for the hassle.

Cons: This was prepaid through Kayak. They charged my card for lodging when I arrived again double what I had originally paid. I had to dispute the overcharges for over an hour and half with the staff. Finally when it was a resolve. The manager thought that a mini bagel for breakfas, a MINI bagel really?!?! made up for their gross mistake and my time. Very unprofessional and very sneaking if I didn't have alerts on my iPhone wouldn't have know they were my unauthorized charges. In addition they charge $100 in incidentals which is normal I found $50 at other hotels.

Cons: They gave us breakfast vouchers even though their kitchen was closed, no food at all anywhere, the bar inside and outside was also closed for no reason, it's a good 30 minute walk to downtown unless you take the free trolley that stops in the front that the staff failed to inform us of, we stayed here because of the cost but we won't be coming back

Cons: The room was small and the bathroom even smaller. Complimentary breakfast is a joke. They give you a small danish and a apple juice box. It would be better not to give them out. I would never stay there again.

Cons: Some of the staff was very rude. There was a staff member accusing us of bringing in drinks from outside into the pool. But we didn't, and were all holding beverages from the outside bar.

Cons: The shower was difficult to turn, the water was not hot, and there was no water pressure

Cons: The air conditioner was difficult to use. We could not get hot water from the shower/tub. Took cold/luke warm showers, talked to the hotel staff and someone looked into it but we only had hot water that evening and was barely warm the next morning. Also the shower head had a leak and sprayed water over the shower curtain and on to the wall with the hair dryer and electrical outlet!

Cons: Nothing!

Cons: My biggest complaint was that one of the beds had dirty sheets and the other bed had dirty pillow cases. We called to tell them and a hour went by soi went downstairs to. The front desk to tell the again and I heard the guy radio it into housekeeping so another hour went by and still nothing was taking care it took 2 hours to resolve this. Also what they give as a free breakfast is misleading and they were definitely under staffed for breakfast. Longtime waiting

Cons: Everything else. This motel has seen better days. It seems to attract thugs as clientele (and the employees look a little rough too) The "balconied" room overlooked a parking lot (where a "males only adult masseur" had parked his van advertising his business) and what looked to be a dumpster. I felt so unsafe I moved a chair and a table in front of the balconied door. Parking lot is pretty dark so solo visitors beware. Room was fine. (Fun art for sure) but bed felt like I was sleeping directly on plywood. Bathroom window wasn't secure (wouldn't lock) and the bathroom itself had a sloppy paint job and a showerhead that couldn't be adjusted to hit you anywhere but smack in the face. All in all, I got what I paid for at the last minute but wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. (ps: direct bookers beware of extra "resort fees". Mine were included thanks to online booking. But they did charge me a holding fee (which was refunded) as a security deposit.

Cons: Room was small. Listed bikes for loan weren't available.

Cons: Everything! Flooded bathroom Cockroach Jacuzzi was COLD Lack of staff in the cafe. Bad service People drinking and ordering food allowed in the pool area. 2nd pool Not enough towels at the pool People had to wait until some are washed. There's potential for this hotel if the supplies and staff are increased Also remodeling the bathrooms.

Cons: Even though they advertised that they will provide free breakfast and was included in the charges, I was asked to pay for the breakfast. Also they added additional cost for services which I did not use but was charged for it anyway and was not disclosed when I made the reservation. They do not even have a microwave for the guest to use.

Cons: Didn't like them sneaking an additional person charge when I clearly stated 3 people

Cons: Replenish supplies of towels, no microwave, access codes to hot tub didn’t work, staff not accessible, no checkout especially couldn’t get App to work.
