Excellent buffet breakfast. Close to Metro. Staff very helpful when we wanted directions to Parc de Princes.
Friendly No tea or Coffee making facilities in the room
I hated my entire time at the hotel
Basically I chose the hotel only for the location, few steps from the exhibition centre....the rest is very average, food bad The welcome by the staff and the way they serve you
Hotel was lovely, staff were really helpful, parking availability at hotel was excellent and a really good rate, very nice surprise!
The room was a little bit small. Was a little far from the center.
Nice to have a pool. Room was very nice, and staff accomodated our 4 person family by ugrading us to a suite at a reduced price.
Contrary to some reviews on this site, I found the personnel at reception extremely friendly and helpful. I think Oceania actually have read the reviews, and must have instructed the personnel. Some reviewers talked about poor breakfast : untrue ! I took breakfast opposite hotel the 1st day : 11 euro buys you a croissant, orange juice, coffe, and 2 slices of bread and butter. You're much better served, and very friendly, again, in the hotel for 17 euro. It is true, there is no minibar in the room, the remote of the television set did not work very well (small tv also) and no wardrobes to be found. Finally, the 220V-connection is conventionally placed (earth connector at top) but just above the desk, which does not allow any apparatus to be inserted that has a transformer firmly connected to the plug.
English speaking staff No top bed sheet
Parking place, sauna, swiming pool.
Convenient position a short walk to the metro station. Staff v.friendly and helpful. Room v.modern but still comfortable. Swimming pool great. I stay in a lot of 4/5 star hotels and normally prefer older hotels, but I would definitely give this one 10/10 No evening meals available but with a number of good bistros a short walk away this wasn't really a problem
The bed Room service
The location was excellent, and metro was really close. Internet was twice the price mentioned in your web-pages. The room service food was terrible compared to it's very expensive price (e.g. Club sandwich selected under 'Hot stuff' was cold, very small, and did not even taste good).
very nice hotel, good for family vacation, great location
Feels like a 4-star hotel, but it's actually a 3-star. Also, I like one of the staff: Charles. Breakfast is a bit pricy and not enough choices. Staff didn't know how to use the computer in the lobby because it was 3-days old, so when I asked him some things, he couldn't help me.
Breakfast included and Location (metro, tram), personal little bit over priced
Nearby the metro and expo. Expensive breakfast
it was so close to the Expo and thats what we wanted.Great The brekfast was expensive ,so we didnt have it, great to have a kettle in room ,but no norrmal tea, Bar closed to early.
comfortable big room
Good location. Metro at the corner. 300 Euros per day is far far too expensive for the rooms provided. No beakfast included. Laudry is ridicuclous expensive and internet 6 euros the hour !
The hotel was very quiet, which I liked. The room is nice and clean. Parking place was not well managed, hotel receiptionist gave us wrong information about the city.
Location was great. Nice clean and bright entryway, common area and breakfast room. We booked 3 rooms. The rooms were very varied depending on the theme. One was very dark in hues of brown and black, one was red and black and one nice and light. One of the rooms had a shower full of mold. We requested that they clean the bathroom one morning when we headed out for the day but came back at the end of the day to find the same mold. Rooms were on the small side but with all necessary amenities.
position was excellent, staff were very helpful nothing!
close to exhibition, price simple breakfast, expensive parking,
The location near the MTR~~~
The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The room was very unconfortable with dirty wall-paper and black attic.
Two mins walk from Paris Expo and Metro. A perfect no frills business stop. Includes free wifi. Just very basic. No shower. Just a hose in a 2/3rd size bath. It's fine really just don't expect extras.
The staff was really helpful and friendly. That was the best part of the hotel. I also liked the location and the design of the place. The room wasn't as clean as I would have liked at all. Carpet looked like it needed a vacuum. Bedding had a few stains, that was really uncomfortable.
Good location for Boat Show. Near good metro line (M12). Pleasant room. Full when we arrived in the evening, despite our having a confirmed booking. Alternative hotel arranged by Pt d V H of much lower standard. Persistence required to have another hotel arranged. Then, when asked for compensation for difference in price, they said they could accommodate us for balance of our stay - which required cancellation of the second alternative hotel they had put us on to.
Good bed. Good breakfast. The fact there was no bar and no wine in the mini bar in the room except champagne
- The hotel is located in a good area, with metro station verry close and a lot of restaurants on the same street. We came often after 12 pm and we have nothing to worrry about; - the personal of the hotel was verry nice and the room was cleaned every day; - they let us eat within their restaurant, but with our food bought from a supermarket which is 2 minutes from the hotel, without extracharge; - there is wireless iternet available for 5 euro/3days, which is reasonable; - the air conditioning is working; the bathroom is clean. - The room is small, but after the first day you get used with that; - the elevator is also very small, but we were laughing about this after we succeeded to caryy our luggage in the room; - the tv does not have all the main tv programs..
Conveniently located next to metro and tram lines. Getting to the centre was a breeze. Breakfast was overpriced. At 11 € per person, it's more value for money to take a metro to the centre and then go to Paul's or Pain Quotidien.
The staff was great with pointing us in the right direction for getting around Paris. It was a very cute modern hotel. Very clean and well kept. A bit small, but that's what you get in Europe. I'd definitlely recommend the hotel and stay again. The major downfall of the hotel, is that it was a bit out of the way. Kind of far from the main city, but luckily they were a pretty good distance from the metro and never had to wait for a train at that stop.
The single room was very small, but the staff were excellent, and the location (2 mins walk from Paris Expo) was perfect for my trip. I will definately stay again.
Cleanliness and comfort
There was no duvet, just an itchy dirty sheet which I couldn't use. Furthermore, the room in the promotional photographs was not anything like the tiny flat-pack wardrobe containing room that I stayed in. It was claimed that this room was discounted from £450 - I doubt that very much!
nice staff clean rooms quiet rooms
nothing i liked no service-nofood selection -direty carpets -no taxis infront of hotel
location to the Expo . good facilities , friendly staff who were willing t converse in English no
The service was very good, for foreighn travelers, and nice restaurant enclosed, If you are looking for any fun this is not the place. 95% business travelers. Too Hot in the rooms as i could not turn the heat off, No nighlife at all around, very conservative atmosphere No music, No Fun.No dancing.
It was very easy to check in and the rooms are a good size. Whilst sat in the bar saw a mouse running up the side of the tv.
bar open late! went to breakfast to have a cup of coffee only........was charged 15 euros, which reception kindly cancelled
Housekeeping! Needs a lot of work! & room service food.
The location of the hotel was key for us working at the expo.
The door lock failed to work on our 2nd night, I had to come to reception 4 times before someone came to look. I was given a free drink for my trouble.
Good breakfast, bright atrium style reception hall
The hotel has a very good position/location for the visiting Expo area. I like the hotel, it was new and really nice. The working staff during the night hours was a bit louder, in my opinion. I would like to have a room with view into the street next time.
Near the Expo Center The furnicher was old
The situation was ideal for our visit to Parc de Prince for the rugby and the resulting visit of Paris
The price, the location. Disability access to hotel from the parking area was poor.
The location was easy for the metro. It was nice to have cooking facilities. The room was tired, and the building was clearly idenifyable. The signage could be larger and be the name on the booking form.
We arrived early before check in time to park the car, but staff allowed us into the room also which was a big bonus for us after travelling. Car park very secure under the building.
it was close to the exhibition centre and thats it! desperate need for refurbish, our room stank of old cigarette smoke and was very tatty and worn! sheets smelt disgusting so children had to sleep in their sleeping bags! ! holes in the window vents, window would not close properly, sofa cushions smelt horrible, stains on the walls, damp in the bedroom, skirting boards missing, tiny wardrobe etc etc etc wont be visiting again
The stuff is very kindly and I had a good leisure time at this hotel. It is really really excellent!
Free wi fi, leaving No restaurant, no bar, limited tv
Great hotel, great location, good staff, nice room for children beds were too soft- my only complaint- everything else was great!
Stated as a 3 stars hotel, in reality this is a 1 star, if any.... our double / twin bed room was extremely small, 2 person can not pass through at the same time. Room was dusty, and the house keeping room door was opened and the supposed to be clean bed sheets, pillow cover & toile are all over on the floor...
next to porte de versailles expo & restaurants for diner no so good maintenance, not always competent staff. could be noisy as theres a bar located nextdoor.
The overall service we received was very poor! The receptionist was very rude and not professional at all when there was an incident with wifi. The rooms were not throughly clean, they were very small and crowded. Overall, not a good experience.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the rooms I saw were very clean. The foyer is nicely laid out with comfortable chairs. It is an old-fashioned hotel in its decor and is not kept in very good repair. I'm afraid that the first room I was provided with had a broken toilet, and the second had broken air-conditioning.
The way the toiletries in the bathroom were adapted to me. the breakfast buffet was excellent the price increase for the room if there was a 'salon' taking place at Porte de Versailles
10 min walk from exhibition center. Untidy room, noisy pipes
Second time we have stayed @ this hotel as is ideally situated for the Exhibition Center which we were visiting .. Rooms very warm @ night, air con. would improve this, as opening the windows lets all the noise in from restaurants close by
I do not like the hotel. There is no air condiioner. The breakfast is very poor.
Staff was very helpful and co-operative Both the room and bathroom was very small. Once could hardly move. In case of any proproblem, no body was avaialble to fix it.
Close to metro and river, nice kebab and coffee shop, helping staff. Good location and easy to find. value for money. bed was uncomfortable!
under ground was very close from the hotel, location of hotel seems recent area. weather was very hot and no A/C availble in rooms
The staff was fantastic! The rooms were small but quaint and I especially liked the little balcony. It was excellent value for the money. The lobby and breakfast area could use a bit of an update and the elevator had seen better days.
The hotel is clean, nice shower and the location is not that bad for the price. A member of the hotel staff got the e-mail from my sister to try to hit on her.
Comfy bed. Helpful reception staff. Handy for metro. Really nice place overall just a few problems. The shower was cold every morning! because it was a boiler shower and couldn't cope with everyone using it at once. Breakfast staff were quite rude, tables weren't set up properly and breakfast was quite basic. Housekeeping staff ignored the do not disturb signs and one day removed two of our towels without replacing them. Although being only a two person lift this wasn't a problem except in the morning when housekeeping kept a trolley in it and we had to hike up 7 flights of stairs! No chest of drawers or cupboards. Hairdryer didn't work on full power for more than 10 seconds. Door rattles loudly when adjoining rooms shut theirs.
abruptness of cleaning staff
clean rooms, nice staff, good for young travellers who don't really care about luxury It was kind of far from everything important to visit
Good service, stqaff and facilities
very close to Paris Expo, also to Aqua city. No room service for daily cleaning, not explaining how to clean the garbage
The design and comfort of the room It took the staff three days to find my reservation and when they did they wanted me to move to another hotel. The logistic of the hotel was a mess.
It was convenient for me since my work was very close to the hotel The rooms were not cleaned daily. I had to pay Euro 26 for getting the rooms cleaned everytime.
close to Porte de Versille exhibition centre and large rooms
We were impressed with the 1 bedroom apartment which was clean and comfortable and found the staff very helpful throughout our stay. We were traveling on business but had a 6 year old and a grandparent with us. All were comfortable. When we got to the hotel in the evening we found out that our pre-paid reservation made a few weeks earlier was canceled. Once we got to our e-mail it turned out that the problem was due to over-maxing our business credit card which we were not aware of having left a few days earlier and not receiving this information. However the staff was able to put us in a very nice, comparable apartment and at the same price, so the stress was minimal and we appreciate it. There is also a weekend flea market within walk. The hotel has a pretty good connection from the nearby metro station but the distance to airport and central attractions still adds up and walking to Paris attractions is only an option if you have a lot of time. Good location if you are going to the Expo grounds right by the hotel but not if you want to spend as much time as possible in the centre of Paris. Not much happening nearby in the evenings though.
The room smelled bad. Like the sewers. It took a very long time for the heating to heat up the room so it was very cold. No where in the hotel to check my email and near the hotel either.
Conveniently situated to Porte de Versailles...four people fitted comfortably...good well equipped kitchen...good apartment...would stay there again That the room we had booked wasn't ready till the day after we arrived so we had to stay in a different room and pack and repack all bags when we were very pushed for time...we had been assured both 3months prior and the week before arriving that a double room would be available on arrival late in the evening...but it wasn't...so we were shunted to different separate rooms for the first night....
Hotel located within walking distance of Porte de Versailles exhibition hall. Lots of restaurants and 2 metro stations nearby. Room was cleaned everyday. Booked room for 2 person and room was extremely small. The air conditioner was broken and therefore had to request to change room. Was given a room but not a smoking room that had requested earlier on.
metro station / tram nearby (5 min walk) Superior room booked but only standard room received, room was very small, poor heating facility in room and bathroom, quite old furniture, slow internet connection, all in all not very comfortable and inviting (incl. lobby and Breakfast room), Hotel is in my point of view max 2stars), and not worth the exorbitant high room prices when a booking for a room is e.g. done 1-2 weeks before arrival.
Staff extremely helpful, quiet and convenient
No parking spaces in the car park.
Excellent location for parc de expositions. Friendly helpful staff
friendly staff who spoke good english
close to transport not enough parking spaces
Polite desk staff. She was very helpful with accommodation and directions to get about, spoke English.
rooms very small as ,not the true value of money
Staff very helpful, very close to porte de versailles convention centre, bathrooms brand new. Rooms very small...but thats Paris!
acceptable price VS geo situation Room are in disrepair. Carpet stinks. bed squeaks. limit acceptable. Noisy.
The staff were very helpful and there was no disturbance. Location is really good Rooms are small, and need a facelift.
the room was nice, the bed was big, comfy, staff friendly and helpful, easy access to metro. a little small room.
Not many very disserpointing the only good point was that it was near where I had to be Poor value for money room was like a prison cell not that I have stayed in prison too basic not worth the money picture was not like the actual place very good picture breakfast was coffee and roll went somewhere else
Room clean. Linen very clean. Most necessities available ie; hairdryer and fridge for cool drinks. Having read previous reviews, we'phoned to say we would not be ariving before 8pm and to keep the room for us. The receeptionist spoke good English fortuntely as our French is not perfect. The reservation was honoured. Beds comfortable. Glad to see a lift to 5th floor. Room a bit tight for three adults. Very noisy at night outside window to rear of building possbly air cooling system. Too hot to close window and had to use earplugs. Air cooling system in room leaked. No means to make a hot drink ie; tea / coffee.
Please, stay away from that hotel !!! They like overbooking because they cooperate with "so-called *** hotel" opposite the street! Then they will relocate you there saying that "You shoud be happy, you booked ** start hotel and you get place in *** stars one. However that *** hotel has nothing in common with stars at all !!! - standard of the room; - organisation; - cleanliness; - there is no sense in booking anything, parking reservation - as you will get totally different room and no parking.
Good localization and near to metro stations Beverages price, not a good shower space, not so good breakfast for the price
Nothing much. I think they overbooked, but said when we arrived that there were 'technical problems' with the rooms, and they could only accommodate us the following night (second of two booked). In fairness, they did find us other accommodation and drove us there, but it caused us significant delays which meant us not being able to attend one of two events that we were scheduled to do. The rooms didn't smell good, though the bathrooms in both were fine. The condition of the passage between the kitchen and dining room, where we left our bags for the day before getting into our rooms the second night, was such that we declined to eat breakfast in the hotel on checkout, even though we had paid for it. A substantially inferior experience.
Only used it as a base for after watching the Rugby World Cup
The low cost The night staff were unhelpful, the wireless was expensive, and although the bathroom was very clear the beds were poor as was the general ambience of the room - but it was cheap! :-)
There was nothing i liked about this hotel. Rooms smell, bathroom can hardly fit one person, very very loud!, shower goes from scorching hot to super cold and there is no in-between. There are no elevator lifts. Feels very dirty and is dirty. Everything in the hotel is from IKEA.Far from city.
