Pros: Super quick check in check out .. loved the location! Great for joggers , cause a beautiful park nearby..enjoyed the breakfast a lot! We loved it , really.. it’s not huge but everything was exceptional , we didn’t want to leave :) coffee was good too .. fresh fruit , eggs and bacon , sausage , deli , cooked veggies that were amazing ! Croissants and cakes..we booked in advance and got a really good price , we feel we got a great value for the money spent..quiet neighborhood

Cons: The mini bar was included but never refilled. I’ve stayed in other hotels where the mini bar is refilled every day. Breakfast was decent... I loved the espresso machine. The location wasn’t great... it was at least a 15 minute walk to any worthwhile location and the surrounding area doesn’t offer much. It’s very dillapitated. The walk back to the hotel is entirely uphill which also brings down this properties score.

- 2x espresso capsules for the coffeemaker (there is 1 normal and another 1 decaffeinate coffee capsule, daily offered)

Cons: We had a room with a balcony because we like to sit outside, but the patio furniture was quite strange and uncomfortable, it’s more for sunbathing in summer .. so we had to take the chair from the inside and put it outside ..it’s obviously expensive and trendy furniture , but it’s super uncomfortable .. the tv in the room had very few English channels and couldn’t do much with the smart tv , only YouTube..sometimes the streets are being washed around 7 in the morning and it sounds super loud and they go on for 30 or more minutes .. just a few imperfections , but overall it’s a nice hotel , we were very happy there ..would recommend this hotel to people

Cons: Bellhops were very nice, but some of the desk staff was slightly unfriendly and unhelpful. Restaurant staff asked us to leave table (in beautiful garden) after finishing coffee to make room for other guests but there were many other tables. Guest service not the hotel's strongest area in my brief experience.

Cons: Comfort ok, beds a bit too firm. Reception staff were cordial and helpful. Bar staff were going to overcharge for beverage until I pointed out the correct price in menu. Don't know if intentional or not, but you would think they know the correct pricing as advertised in their menu. Our room was on third level on the side where the hotel entrance is located. This area can be noisy at night, especially on weekends when people are walking on the street and street musicians (which hung out a few doors down from the hotel) are playing. The rooftop terrace is nice but the views are limited and there were many yellow jackets/hornets around the evening appetizers at the bar.

Pros: The location is great, equal distance between the Vatican and the coliseum. The hotel rooms are small but that is due the the age of the building but are nicely decorated and a decent quality. The staff are very helpful and were able to help when needed every time. Definitely stay again!

Cons: Hardly any power points for charging of phones, the main one that was available was broken .. mentioned this to staff and was told it would be resolved... nothing was ever done about this. Toilet roll holder, towel holder, and wall shower fixing all fell off the wall multiple times during stay... told staff again about this, only the toilet roll holder was fixed. Fan/ heating didn’t work in room.

Cons: The power control is out of order, we can’t switch off the ceiling light and slept with them the whole stay in the hotel and had no air-con in winter which is quite stuffiness if we don’t open the balcony door.

Cons: Generally we loved the hotel and only had minor niggles that did not take away from our stay at all. Examples were the air conditioning system in our room didn't have a night mode so the bright display stayed on and the breakfast options were a bit repetitive after a couple of days. Nothing major, a great little find!

When the hotel found out it was our anniversary they upgraded our room and provided us with a complimentary bottle of bubbly! Cons: WI-if was poor, however so much to do in Rome didn’t really need it. Some drinks were little over priced. However these were only minor issues since I had to fill in this box

Heard several rooms entering and leaving throughout the night with lots of "activity" in the room next door which was quite disturbing (didn't think it would be that kind of hotel!!). You could not lock the windows in an "open" position for added security so we had to sleep with them closed. Air Con wasn't working and room was far too warm and stuffy. Wardrobe was tiny with a mini fridge at the bottom of it which reduced hanging space even further. Could not have comfortably stayed for longer than the one night that we did. You literally had to live out of your case and that was in a superior room which was apparently upgraded to a mini suite for us. Not impressed at all with the size, layout, comfort, cleanliness or room facilities. Bathroom was ok though.

Cons: I have been in other hotels from the NH group, and this is the first time when I have not been completely happy with my stay. I had problems comunicating with some of the staff. They have a nametag indicating which languages they speak and, for some of them, it was very difficult to comunicate in english or spanish even if it was indicated that they could speak both languages. It was also problematic that they didn't actually tell you that they were not following, so I thought we were comunicating just fine until they didn't do anything or didn't answer what had been asked. Another thing was that the trash was not taken out one day while we were there. It only happened one day (probably they forgot after doing the other things in the room), but still.

Cons: The hotel is in bad shape. Carpet is shabby, paint chipping off walls, etc. I'd stayed at a Eurostar hotel in Munich that was modern, clean and very comfortable and thought the Rome location would be similar since it's a chain...but they seemed like two different companies.
That said, it's fine for the budget traveler. Clean room and decent shower, but the whole place from the lobby to the rooms are just much shabbier than they appear online.

Cons: all room facilities was old. Awful service, unhelpful and somethimes rude. The room was very smal and uncorfotable. There is no air conditioner. Our windows look on yard. Cons: We were late for our train had already paid for our room. I have stayed in four and five star hotels plenty. Not saying we didn't look young or scruffy but in no way we're we staying above our means. We tried to leave quickly in the morning they assumed we trashed the room they locked us inside the lobby, and threatened to call the police if we left before they checked. So I tried to explain they had my credit card and passport on file and I would give them my phone number if there were any issues my best friend who I was traveling with pleads with him in Italian and he starts yelling at my friend physically restraining him. It was disgusting behavior for a four star hotel. Also there was no gym which they advertised they had and essentially was the only reason we booked the hotel. This would never fly any where else I have stayed it was truly deplorable, but more then that I was just disappointed to have had search for a place that seemed nice and welcoming and comfortable, a break from the rest of our journey, and instead been sucked into a place with so little respect for its clientele. It's on a horribly touristy street filled with a couple bad restaurants a Hard Rock Cafe and a strip club. Although there is a fantastic wine shop around the corner with a very sweet owner.

Pros: Our room was spacious with a fridge and comfortable beds. Franco let us have a kettle to make tea in the morning (we're English). Stephano was communicative. Alessandro and umberto were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good value at two euros for a lovely coffee and croissant at the local bar. The location was very good for seeing the sights of Rome.

Pros: Location is good, friendly nice stuff. Clean room. Generally, good value for this price I guess.
Cons: There should be a minibar and tea/coffee maker according to booking.com listed facilities but there was no such. WiFi was terrible. Too much noise from the streets at night (we couldn’t close the window not to suffocate as it was too hot) Breakfast is not cancellable :(

Pros: The B&B is very well located: 20 minutes walk from Roma Termini and well connected with buses. The accommodation is very basic and not luxurious, but the room was spacious, clean and very calm. There is a television and a fridge in the room, both worked. The facility has an elevator, which is very convenient. The room and the bathroom were cleaned every day. Good value for the price, great for a short stay.
Cons: The head shower can't be adjusted to a precise height, which is a little bit annoying. The lighting is not very good and the beds may be too soft for some people. We had no service at our arrival and were told to pick up an envelope which contained the keys, instructions and a map from Roma. This was fine for is, but could be less appreciated by other people.

Pros: Location was near the place we needed to be. Room service was nice.
Cons: For management: We were very disappointed by our stay. Six weeks ago, we were offered someone to come get us at the airport and they did not come. They told us to take a taxi. We were scammed by a unlicensed “fake” taxi driver because they did not show up or properly communicate with us on time. We were not offered any compensation for this issue. The hostel person who checked us in basically shrugged it off. The room: The room you will stay in resembles the pictures on the website, but aged 10 years. There were bugs in the bathroom. Staff was hardly present. The pictures on the website did not match the true description of what was offered on the website. I would not recommend this hostel, even for the price. Spend a few extra euros for a nicer place, or find an airbnb. The pictures we most likely taken years ago. The place is dingy and dark, not bright like the photos. There is no breakfast. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a family member or friend. The city: Please be aware of scammers left and right. Read up on pick pockets, scam artists, beggars, and taxi drivers. Do not accept any “free help”, as they will ask you for compensation. Anyone will say anything to get some money from you, including a nice storyline of whatever you want to hear. Please read up on a Rick Steeves book, or Reddit forum before you travel. Other than the historical sites, the city is in disrepair, unorganized, loud, and dirty. The only good thing we experienced from this city was the food.

Cons: The only negative thing that I can say is that I was not aware that the reception is only manned up to 8pm at night although apparently it is mentioned, and there is a thirty euro charge for late check-in. Because of bad mobile connection in the area my texts did not get through to Franco and we waited nearly an hour for him to come and let us in at 11pm.
