Cons: Complimentary coffee in lobby bar ends at 8am - too early!
Pros: The Edition has become my favorite hotel in NYC. It's modern and clean without being trendy. It's luxury without being pretentious. The service was first class. The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet. Even at $500-$600 a night it's a value. The restaurants and bars were fantastic. I think being across from Madison Park adds something unique. I highly recommend the Edition.
Cons: Didn't love the elevator set up.
Centrally located on 24th Street and Madison Avenue, The New York EDITION sits directly across from New York’s iconic Madison Square Park. Originally built in 1909 as the headquarters for The Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, the historic 41-story clock tower is an iconic New York landmark. The New York EDITION features 273 guest rooms and suites with spectacular views of the city. The hotel offers approximately 2,100 square feet of versatile meeting and event space, an intimate lobby bar; and a 1,650 square foot state-of-the-art fitness center & spa located on the 39th floor.
Pros: Very clean. Pretty decor. Friendly staff. Willing to meet needs when asked.
Pros: Great location. Fantastic bed.
Cons: restaurant/café staff not very effective, engaging or helpful. however the remainder of the employees at the hotel were excellent.
Loews Regency New York Hotel has defined Park Avenue hospitality since the moment it opened its doors in 1963. Today—five decades and a recent $100-million dollar renovation later—Loews Regency New York Hotel is still setting standards in sophistication.
Pros: Convenient affordable extremely clean and brand-new facility
Pros: Very nice attractive place. Comfortable. Super clean. Really great staff.
Cons: A bit far from the main interstate for me -- I was passing by on way from Virginia to Boston. Also, wish there were more dinner/meal options in the freezers in the commissary. It was a pretty bare bones selection. And some frozen veggies would have been nice!
Pros: Clean and cozy
Early check in is not a problem
Free breakfast and night gatherings with soup and salad
Cons: I wish they have better ventilation. The room next to us cooks a lot all day everyday. And thr smell was just a bit too overwhelming
Pros: Literally Everything.
Great little room, full kitchen and bath.
I have NO complaints.
Would recommend to 10/10 people
Pros: The room was was absolutely the best I've ever stayed in. I would pick this hotel before any of the others.

Pros: Stayed on a Saturday evening for a birthday celebration with friends. Everything was perfect! The rooms were clean and stylish and the bed was so comfortable we joked that if there was no checkout we would have slept till 3pm. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Would totally stay again!
Pros: We were in town for NYE. The 3 of us fit snug, but the location was perfect!!! The bathroom in the room was nice. The staff was very friendly. It's an older hotel, but we were never in the room but to sleep. Like I said, perfect for us! They even gave us a roll away bed whem we needed a solution.
Cons: Kayak offered me room preferences, like 1 or 2 beds. We had 3 people with us so I needed 2 beds. I wasn't notified we didn't get the 2 beds until we checked in!
Pros: I didn't get to stay there because I was booked in for the night before I wanted to stay and I wasn't allowed cancel it.
Your service is awful and I would like my money back.
I arrived in NYC last night to no Accomodation.
110 Years In The Remaking. The striking Beaux-Arts structure that is HGU New York has welcomed countless guests since 1905. Ornate plaster ceilings tell of legendary parties and infamous patrons of old, while 89 rooms and suites boast of luxury and modern convenience. Restful sleep is paired perfectly with an intoxicating art collection throughout the rooms, corridors, and living spaces; each corner a destination of possible repose or reverie. Derived from the style stuff coveted by the leisure and business set, HGU New York awakens all senses and consistently impresses. This is not midtown; this is NoMad.
Pros: The upper east side hotel is steps away from coffee shops and boutiques, restaurants are a 20 minute walk away or 5 minutes in a cab. The standard is high, rooms are spacious and clean and the staff are friendly, helpful and have exceptional manners compared to other hotels that I've stayed in. The best thing about this hotel was the European influence.
Cons: I didn't like that a simple standard coffee cost $6, which really should've been free in the morning given the price (albeit worth it) of the hotel stay. Two cocktails should not have cost $46, especially when prosecco was used instead of champagne.
Pros: The property is vintage upper East Side in design and service. The property appeared to be maintained extremely well and the staff was always attentive. The rooms were immaculate and very well maintained. The location is walking distance from both upper East side boutiques and restaurants as well as from midtown shopping, museums and people watching. Subway access is also very convenient. I would recommended this hotel to anyone looking for an old world luxury experience in the heart of vintage New York. I would also return without hesitation.
Cons: No complains on this visit
Pros: Everyone was extremely helpful and the rooms were large and clean. The hotel is located on a side street, close to shopping but quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: The prices in the hotel restaurant were extremely high. A cup of coffee was $10 and yogurt with granola and berries was $27. It was very good but this wasn't room service but actually in the restaurant.
Beautifully situated on a treelined street amid historic townhouses, this hotel is 1 block from Central Park and Fifth Avenue, a half-block from Madison Avenue designer shops, and less than 1 mile from theaters.
Cons: Room location: too noisy; not conducive to getting appropriate rest during a business trip.
Front desk: did not accommodate our request upon arrival. We were moved to a room 2 floors higher, same room location, same noise level.
Pros: The staff were very professional, and helpful. The hotel is nice to bring our dog to, the staff went out of their way to cater to him. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Cons: There was a very noisy club next door that made it difficult to sleep. Also I thought that for the price we paid the hotel could have offered free WiFi in the rooms.
Cons: On Sunday nites, club next door is so loud well into the nite making it virtually impossible to sleep.
All light fixtures lack dimmers and all contain very high wattage cold fluorescent bulbs Lighting in room is horrible.
Hvac is not well regulated. Room would get very cold and the only option is too turn off and wait for it to get unbearably hot
Located in Manhattan's vibrant Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, Kimpton Ink48 Hotel is a quarter-mile from the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum; a half-mile from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal; and near the Javits Center and Times Square.
Pros: Spacious, New Design, Complete with Kitchen Appliances (general), Guest of The Day Program.
Cons: Shortage on Suite with Queen Beds.
Short period time for Breakfast.

Pros: First of all this is not a classy place as the pictures might suggest . Its a former short stay , literally , pretending to now be a boutique hotel complete with a glowing sign, a facade covered in tacky blue neon lights and a total dump off lobby. When I arrived I was shocked - nothing like photos . Perhaps for the best when I arrived it was somehow overbooked ... yes after a 14 hour flight I was told they didn't have a room for me . Front desk staff was vile and rude . Not apologetic and rude . Did nothing to help . Don't stay at this horrible place .

Pros: Everything! It was one of the nicest (if not the nicest) hotels we have ever stayed in. I loved the layout of the room. It made it feel homey not just another hotel/motel room!
Cons: Small breakfast room!
Pros: Perfect location for where I needed to be. Quick check-in and check-out. Comfortable bed/linens/pillow. Nice windows, sunny.
Cons: Way too noisy. Was on 2nd floor, heard traffic and music from the club next door all night. Had to sleep with headphones on to drown out the noise. No curtains or blackout shades on the windows. With two walls being filled with windows, the blinds did nothing to block out all the street lights and signage outside. I would stay again but only if on a much higher floor and on the back side of building. (or bring a sleep mask)
Pros: great location.
Cons: loud neighbors.
Cons: No mini fridge
Pros: Exactly what I needed. No frills, but clean and the room was a nice size.
Pros: Locations was fantastic
Cons: Free breakfast was difficult, the 4th floor was too cramped I could not even try the food
Pros: Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Bathroom was well equipped and good sized for this price range hotel. Room was fairly quiet.
Cons: Breakfast choices were very limited and unhealthy. Elevators were not very functional.

A 10-minute stroll north of the hotel, you can survey the Big Apple from the observation deck on the 102nd floor of the Empire State Building. Walk 2 blocks farther to shop in the massive Macy's Herald Square department store. In town for a conference? You'll find Jacob K. Javits Convention Center less than 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometers) away.

When it's time to retire, return to a spacious guestroom and sink into a plush bed with a pillowtop mattress. Order room service (available 24 hours) and unwind with a movie, or check email with wireless Internet access (surcharge). Private bathrooms have a shower/tub combination, free designer toiletries, and hair dryer. Turndown service, daily housekeeping, and rollaway beds are all available, as is in-room childcare (surcharge).
Pros: Basic Courtyard- clean, large enough room by NY standards, great location
Cons: Old single pane windows allowed in even more noise than I am used to in NYC. Courtyards are also my last choice among Marriott brands since they essentially provide nothing for anyone with Marriott Rewards status, unlike all the other Marriott brands.
Pros: Location/ lounge/ service

Pros: Small boutique hotel across from the galloping hill golf course where we attended a wedding. The hotel charged me 2x twice for two of the rooms booked. Horrible experience with unprofessional staff.
Pros: Very clean. Very nice modern rooms. Great value for the money. My only negative was that it was a very narrow path between bed and desk but it wasn't a big deal.
Pros: I loved this hotel. Very clean, nice staff at front desk, perfect location and I loved the decor.
Cons: The only problem I had while staying here was every morning housekeeping woke me up with their very loud conversations in the hallways. There was even some shouting.
Pros: Great staff: when I was stranded after a bus mishap they went the extra mile to get a shuttle to me.
Very accessible from Newark airport.
Cons: Remodel has front lobby and breakfast area torn up, giving even more of an industrial feel than the hotel already had.
Pros: Our double queen room was updated , clean , and very comfortable for us . Staff was friendly and supportive when the printer wasn't able to print my boarding pass . Location was ideal !
Cons: Lobby tables were rickety.
Pros: Very nice room! They did a very good job on the remodeling of this hotel. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again.
Cons: Would like to see a better breakfast selection. No protein. Everything was carbs and sugar. Did a very nice job of setting it up though. Also, outside in the parking lot, someone had just dumped their trash in the parking lot. Not the hotel's fault, but it is a shame that this kind of element would be staying here.

Pros: Super friendly staff. Clean and well maintained hotel.
Cons: Didn't like location, not close to restaurants. I had to get on the highway and drive a couple of miles to find places to eat.
Pros: The Irish pub in the restaurant was excellent. The staff was very professional, accommodating and friendly. The room was clean other than the issues cited in the other box. The lobby is beautiful and clean. The location is convenient and there was plenty of free parking.
Cons: I booked for 3 adults and requested 2 doubles, however my email confirmation stated 1 king bed. I called the Marriott and was told there were no rooms left with double beds. I then called hotels.com and was told the room could be changed to 2 doubles, however upon arrival the reservation was still for 1 king. Thankfully the desk clerk noticed the size of our party and immediately changed the reservation 2 doubles without me having to ask her. Don't know why this was an issues when I originally called the Marriott (or why the change made through hotels.com did not change the actual reservation at the hotel). There was some black mold on the ceiling above the tub/shower and the room had a slightly musty smell, like a damp basement. Our room refrigerator was not working upon arrival and the hotel had to send up a maintenance person to get it to work. We discovered there was a big cultural conference (NJ/NY VSNA Indian conference) taking place during our stay. No issues with the cultural conference however with so many people mingling about in the lobby and hallways we felt like we were intruding on a private event and that was uncomfortable. We did not feel like we should walk around the hotel and stayed in our room. It would have been nice if I was told about the conference at the time of booking.
Pros: Lobby is good. The event we attended is at the same building so staying at this hotel location made sense
Cons: Got a wrong room. I requested for double queen bed but was given single king. So a family of 4 is sharing a single bed. No effort is made to help the situation. I even tried to ask if there is something she can do. I got a big 'NO'. However, the couple after us the a double queen bed. The door going out into the veranda is broken so we have to turn on the heater.
Cons: No breakfast available

Pros: Everyrhubg was great above average on all things.. Great service and room service food was beyond great..
Cons: One very rude women that was a clerk at the front desk about 3am in the morning needs to be fired. I don't want to give the hotel a bad review because of her. I asked about the shuttle and all were more than happy to call the bus driver. They said tell us when you are ready.. I walked outside and came back in and there was another clerk there. I said you can call the shuttle driver now please, I'm ready. She answered very ugly and rude sharp '' when I have time I will'' there were no customers at the desk. No reason that I should have been treated like that. I just thought to myself welcome to new jersey where all the rude selfish people in the world live and blew it off. But what needs to be realized is that people like this on staff there will cause this great hotel to lose customers.
Pros: Amazing location adjacent to terminals
Cons: Prices are similar to Midtown Manhattan
Pros: Hotel staff was nice, room was clean and not noisy.
Cons: Restaurant staff were terrible. Can't be described as nice which is in sharp contrast to the hotel staff
Pros: The rooms and staff were nice
Cons: The shuttle service was very poor. Understaffed shuttle service for people trying to make flights. If you are going to use mini-vans, you need to have more of them, or have bigger shuttles on stand-by.
Pros: They set up a pack and play and refrigerator. Huge win!
Cons: No bellman to bring our bags up. We had to push the luggage cart ourselves. The restaurant was initially rude when I asked to take food upstairs (to my husband and sleeping daughter). I was surprised that this was supposed to be "in" the airport but it still required a van to access. They will not direct you to a walking path. The van was included (nice) but the driver refused to go to the premier counter, leaving us to lugg baby and bags up multiple flights. Not as easy as for a solo business traveller
Pros: Great bed, nice room layout, very quiet and dark which was nice for sleeping. If you close the curtains you will not be able to tell you are essentially in an airport.
Cons: Restaurant was okay -- not bad, not great. A bit expensive for the quality.
Pros: Got in at midnight and still able to grab a quick bit in the restaurant/lounge! Staff was great and never made us feel rushed.
Pros: Lobby and restaurants remodeled.
You can walk to terminals but a shuttle is provided.
Best place you can stay when departing from EWR.
Pros: A shout-out to the Newark Airport Marriott for their excellent customer service. Having taken a red-eye and landing in Newark at 5:55 yesterday morning, we went straight to the Marriott, not necessarily to check in, but to have them be aware that we were there, because we knew we wouldn't be back to use it until around midnight. The night clerk decided just to check us in early, at 6:30 a.m. We never went to the room, but left for our day in NJ and NY (and Neal Gottlieb 's Survivor viewing party, which was attended by so many relatives and friends). When we returned to the Marriott just past midnight, we attempted to print our board passes for this morning. When that didn't work, the same night clerk offered to try during the night and have them for us in the morning. Great. We went to our assigned room, and when we opened the door, we saw it was a wreck. It had not been cleaned at all. So it was a trip back to our now favorite night clerk. After explaining the situation, a supervisor got involved. We received an apology, and an upgrade to an executive suite which included a full breakfast. Thank you, Marriott!
Pros: The bed was comfy and divine! Check out time was noon.
Cons: Service fell short. Shuttle took 40 minutes to arrive; I had to call twice. Massive plane delays brought me in at 3 a.m. and it was not fun waiting yet again. First room shown smelled to me of smoke; no problem about changing rooms. However, she said she would slip a new room key under the door while i could sleep (almost 4 a.m. by now) and she did not. It was easier to not leave the room when I woke (bc very tired) then to deal with trying to get a new key to my room when I would be checking out soon. I left hotel at 11:30ish a.m. without coffee but showered.
Pros: The place was very clean and nice, and very professional looking.
Cons: If you're not a posh business person, it isn't the best. We made the mistake of ordering Dominos to the room, and the hotel was obviously not very happy about "fast food" coming. First of all, they gave the delivery person a hard time and accused her of not really having customers here and being shady, before they finally called my room. Once I confirmed we had indeed ordered pizza, they wouldn't even let the delivery person come into the hotel, and I had to go outside to meet them.
Cons: Had to pay for computer access in business suite, no free TV channels…..everything was promotional.

Pros: It is conveniently located, the rooms were clean, the staff helpful, it is a 10 minute ferry ride to NYC, the view is spectacular, an awesome running path through Weehawken and Hoboken. I really enjoyed my stay and will consider staying here again when visiting "The City".
Cons: I have no complaints.
Pros: I love the service and location. We have stayed there many times and consistently they have never disappointed us.
Pros: Clean, great location, close proximity to the restaraunts and a boardwalk. Very comfortable stay.
Pros: The staff were all very helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and informed.
Pros: Location. Staff.room. Everything good. But breakfast is no free..well last week hotel book time my pakage is have a breakfast but staff say . Pay breakfast..
Cons: Paying for parking
Pros: Nice view of the Hudson/Manhattan

Cons: When I order a superior king don't change it to double bed room and tell me that's what I ordered
Cons: I was very dissatisfied with our stay. I planned a last minute staycation with my daughter. The weather was menacing so I looked for a place in the area with a nice indoor pool. What they don't tell you in any of the descriptions on the Sheraton Paraippany is that the pool is part of the Atlantis Health Club and, evidently, anyone can go for the day (I imagine there's a small fee). We were swimming in the already cramped single lane of the indoor pool. I was already dismayed that, even though there were many little ones swimming with their parents, they still excluded us from the other two roped off lanes--one was reserved for lap swimming, and the other for kiddy swimming lessons (with MANY kiddies, one of them screaming at the top of his lungs for the entirely of his lesson). I noticed pieces of food, cereal and other garbage, laying around the pool, while the life guard sat there, allowing kids to balance themselves on the divider ropes, despite someone trying to swim laps right next to them. What sent me (and my ten year old) over the edge was when an entire group of young children arrived from outside the hotel. A day camp I think. There were now an additional 15 or so kids, plus 3 or 4 adult supervisors. For the first half hour they were there, the outdoor pool was still closed due to bad weather--why they did not open up another of lane to accommodate this group is beyond me. They expected 30+ people to swim comfortably in one lane of a NOT Olympic sized pool?! It was ridiculous so we left and went back to our not very clean room (pubic hair in the bathtub, stains on the carpet and on the bed-skirt) and ordered over priced hamburgers that were hard as hockey pucks and ridiculously over-priced. It was just an all-around very disappointing experience. I will not be returning there.
Pros: Can't give much of a review. Was there on business for one night. Location was convenient. Exterior was impressive. Room was nice. I was not expecting much, so it met my needs. Would stay again.
Pros: Everything, services and everything they did to make us happy
Cons: The bed a little be, it was like not what I was spected i
Think they can have a better mattress
Cons: Breakfast was horrible tv was broke and I set the alarm clock for 8:00 am and bring they cut the power off for a min the alarm didn't go off getaway was awful
Pros: cleanliness, friendly hotel staff
Cons: Women's bathroom above my room. You could hear high heels and high power toilet flushing from the 6th floor bathroom every few minutes.
Pros: Good location. Reasonably clean
Cons: Hotel needs to be updated. Bathroom was small and cramped. The hotel is in need of repair. The restaurant closes too early.

Relax in one of our 370 renovated guest rooms, featuring modern bathrooms and upscale décor. Impressive Club Rooms are productive, professional settings for any group and include access to our exclusive Club Lounge, open on weekdays.
Cons: Pool was over crowded. No towels at pool to dry off. Had to air dry and drip the whole way back to the room. Oops. Also hot tub was very dirty and almost green. When sitting in it I couldn't even see my waist the water was so unclear.,
Also check out time was different depending what you read or who told you. We checked out at noon because that's what it said on the back of the door m.
Pros: Otherwise we had a pleasant stay. Liked having Red Robin connection. Would go back.
Cons: People were too loud in the hallway. Children running in the hallway. Our toilet had a seat that kept slipping when sat on. Otherwise we had a pleasant stay. Liked having Red Robin connection. Would go back.
Pros: The cleanliness
Cons: Staff attitude and people skills sucked
Pros: We had issues with our room and the daytime staff was very helpful. They moved us to a new room, which had an issue too, but Elly did everything she could to make it right.
Cons: Overnight staff was rude.
Pros: The room was recently refurbished and mostly nice
Cons: Bathroom door was damaged, whole room smelled of paint, the whole building was under construction which was loud. The workers smoked in the hallway. I caught the receptionist asleep twice. Once when I was trying to check out around 6AM. She actually had headphones in so I had to scream to wake her up so that I could check out. The pool was not accessible due to the construction. The breakfast was waffles, bagels, and yogurt. I was just really not pleased with this stay.
Pros: Location. Easy on and off rt3
Cons: Was a non smoking room I thought, smelled of smoke
Black mold on sink rim and shower head.
Pros: Room comfortable, staff courteous and helpful, location great
Cons: Only one elevator working, room a little noisy (room heater and pool mechanicals I think), teenagers running in the hallway, talking loudly and slamming doors, housekeeping staff threw away my bed socks that I left in the bed.

Cons: The hotel was overpriced for the general facilities on offer. Pay 30 dollars for a fridge when I'm paying x hundred a night? Kidding? No real dedicated space for guests to relax. Free wifi was not free as it was within service charge. This pricing policy really took facilities down to equivalent of a 2 star hotel or a B and B! Reception staff had an unhelpful attitude. This was on complete contrast to our stays in Boston and DC. Wholly unimpressed. it was almost like the abrasive attitude of Tines Square had pervaded the customer service.
Pros: Location it's excellent
Cons: Staff at restaurant was horrible. Un professional rude.
Pros: Location, Location, Location!
Pros: The most unfriendly staff I have encountered at a hotel
Pros: Service, location, beds, rooms were right size, showers.
Cons: Paid $275 for after show party in the restaurant All they had was 4-5 items of Chinese food and open bar. No menus for food nor drinks. Grumpy wait staff.
Pros: Great accommodating staff. Helpful concierge. So close to Times Square & all the theaters, so perfect for the 1st time visitor. Clean & comfortable. Beds are nice & cozy.
Cons: Pool is part of the gym inside the building, so it's only a lap pool. Not for lounging & definitely not for kids.
There is a sauna which would be nice in the winter.
Very busy hotel! Not a relaxing lobby or even many places to sit (only 4 chairs & some makeshift areas around the plants)!
No mini fridge in room.
Pros: It was in a perfect location in Times Square. A few blocks from the subway. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby.
Cons: Needs some updating/maintenance. For the price you pay for location, seems they could upkeep better. All 3 drawers in our dresser didn't close properly, off track or something. Bathrooms could use some new caulk, gappy and dirty looking.
Pros: Location was good
Cons: They dont encourage people booking hotel from other web sites
They prefer it from there site and they help them only . I was staying in hotel for times square view
Not for other view
Overall worat experience
Pros: The location was good. Their concierge staff were nice . Check in was quick .we were givin compound of 2 free complimentary drinks from their bar but we did nit use it.wifi was included in the service fees but also I did not need to use it.
Cons: When I checked in the toilet was ful of hair & there was a nail on the toilet table .generally the housekeeping service is not good. I noticed that paper napkin was not refilled as if they are saying you have to use one box per stay
Pros: Great hotel if you're a tourist and want to be in Times Square - easy walking distance to many attractions and not too far can / uber ride to others. The rooms were nice and clean, the maids always bought us new soaps, razors, toothpaste, towels etc.
Cons: some of the staff are seriously awful.
My partner has a severe allergy to nuts, and we had issues with two waiters there who seemed preoccupied and had to ask a manager to go and confirm if there was nuts in a dish she wanted for dinner or not. The waiter made us feel awful and then progressively got ruder (getting in our faces, yelling, etc) after the manager had been involved.
We did get given a few free drinks and a box of chocolates from management (although she couldn't have the chocolates due to nuts)
But otherwise we had a lovely stay, only ruined by a few staff members who need to learn if you work in a service job it's part of your job to at least TRY and be polite and understanding!
Pros: My wife has a convention here once a year in January so I tag along. We had a stunning view of Broadway and Times Square from our corner room on the 45th floor (out of 46). Room was clean. Service is friendly and courteous. Bell Captain kept our bags for us after checkout so we could do a bit of sight-seeing until we had to go to the airport. When it was time to get our bags, he walked them down to the taxi stand for us and made sure we had a cab.
Cons: Wi-fi seemed a bit slow.

Cons: It is affordable and that's about it. Not much service.
Pros: Great place the only thing would like to see is better air freshening in the hallways -- predominantly Asian guests on extended stays who do a lot of cooking and the strong odor of the foods can be overwhelming in hallway and on elevators but not in rooms. This is why I give it a three for cleanliness for public spaces. Rooms are excellent quiet and modern with updated renovation in 2014.

Pros: Great place to stay before an early flight or after a late flight.
Cons: elevators are unusual to get working. Need to put your room key in in a certain way and at a certain time. Tricky to get on to.
