The Avis drop off location in Vegas was terrible. The drop off was at Mandalay Bay and there wasn’t any signage to help find where to drop the car off or the keys to the Dropbox. We spent 45 minutes looking where to drop the car and then locating the key drop off box.Reviewed 26 Jun 2025

Absolutely horrible. I know there is always two sides to every story BUT I was guaranteed one price which was the total price.before I left I asked him and proof that I will pay this total guaranteed he said yes. I dropped the van in perfect condition and 2 hours early etc… to make a long story short. The guy charged me an extra 73.25 for another driver. I was the only driver and I explained this to him and I was the only one on there. He knew this.I did not get my money back and he was rude to my eight year-old that was looking at a plant and barely touched it and he told her do not touch it, you will kill it. I told him I have the same plant. Anyways lesson learned. NEVER AGAIN. Btw I have proof and a witness to back me up. This was in ((( collierville tn)) in June of 2025.Reviewed 26 Jun 2025

Drop off location in Hilton Head Island was closed even though hours said it was open. Staff did not answer the phone when tried to call multiple times Had to call customer service and spend 30 minutes on the phone to change drop off location that was further away and that was ACTUALLY open.Reviewed 23 Jun 2025

Didn’t have car when I came to pick it up. Had to wait an hour. When I dropped it off, they billing didn’t align and I was told $20 more than when I picked up the car. They said they’d rectify it but I still don’t have my deposit back to confirm how much I was charged.Reviewed 23 Jun 2025

My drop off was at Circus Circus in Las Vegas. I was not given the exact location to where I would be park in the car and dropping off keys.. there is no indication that it should be dropped off in the second garage on the fifth level. I wasted about an hour and a half trying to figure it out, I called Avis customer service, and the guy was clueless, he suggested I just park it and leave the keys inside the car.Reviewed 23 Jun 2025

The vehicle was wonderful. Excellent condition. Well cared for the drop off was wonderful. The staff was really great. The pick up was actually not bad either. The problem was the wait time during pick up. There was not enough staff. There was only two staff members and it took an extended period of time waiting in line to get to those staff members to pick up the vehicle. So that is my only point of improvement they need more staff members to handle the incoming reservations outside of that everyone was friendly and the process was easy, but the initial process was not fast.Reviewed 22 Jun 2025
