How to Get to Capri

Plane

Although Capri doesn’t have its own airport, you can fly to Naples Airport (NAP), which is located 38 km from Capri. Salerno Costa d'Amalfi is the most popular, with regular flights from British Airways, easyJet, Ryanair and other airlines departing from the United Kingdom. The shortest flight to Capri from the United Kingdom departs from Manchester and takes around 3h.

Trenitalia is the most popular train carrier serving Capri, followed by AccesRail.

Car

Another option to get to Capri is to pick up a car hire from Naples, which is about 33 km from Capri. You’ll find branches of SURPRICE CAR RENTAL and Ace, among others, in Naples.

Several bus lines operate bus routes to Capri, including FlixBus, Itabus and Fiumicino Express. From Rome, the bus ride to Capri takes 225 km and will cost you around £11. From Modugno, the ticket costs about £16 for a journey of 274 km.
