10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good lots of choice. Bedrooms exceeded expectations
Cons: The room was very hot and there was no key to open Patio doors to let air in
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff, cleanliness, comfortable bed & good breakfast
Cons: Scruffy looking especially from outside and our room was dark and gloomy.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Toilet blocked up and sink wouldn't drain.
10.0 Excellent

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful and accomadating nothing was too much trouble
Cons: Would have liked better lighting in the bathroom
5.0 Okay
Pros: Staff were very quick to respond when the Room was over hot due to faulty radiator fittings. They also followed up with a call to check that everything was ok. Staff carried my bag to the room, ( but I had to carry it myself back to the car- I use a walking stick.)
Cons: Furniture ( sofa) was shabby in the room ( plastic leather look that was peeling off.) The radiator had faulty fitting (thermostat nob was detached from the radiator.) The only way to attempt to turn down the radiator was hidden behind the desk, which involved stretching over the desk, putting your arm down to try and reach the knob ( which was detached and not working anyway) and potentially burning yourself from the sheer hotness of the radiator. All this was controlled from an outside-the-room thermostat switch which was accessible by the public and which some bright spark had turned up. I got down to breakfast at 8:30am The bacon I was served had obviously been cooked much earlier and "kept warm" so that it was well baked and needed a lot of tomato ketchup to make it edible. There was poor lighting from the car park to the room in the Limes - it seems they depended on the street lighting for part of the path and it was not sufficient for walking along at night. The movement-sensitive lighting was ok, but did not cover all the path.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the room (11). Very spacious with lots of character. I can honestly say the bed is one of the most comfortable I have stayed in.
Cons: The only downside was the shower. More of a light spray than a nice refreshing shower.

Pros: Breakfast was Ok, very reasonable in quality, spoiled by the inclusion of add 50p each for any extras like hash brown, sausage etc

The breakfast was very good, with many items locally sourced, and home baking was freshly made for afternoon tea. The region is good to explore. Very rural. The house was also interesting with many old beams. Highly recommended

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful cottage in beautiful setting. Sharon and Graham are the perfect hosts and their attention to detail is second to none. Breakfast was excellent.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Pulled up to house late at night and owners (who were not aware we were coming thanks to this website) were very courteous and welcoming while they arranged the room. Room was lovely and bathroom was huge, breakfast was delicious and area was quiet and relaxing, would happily visit again.
Cons: This is no fault of the hotel owners but they did not receive an e-mail confirmation that me and my friend would be staying that night so we caught them a little unawares! As stated they were very welcoming while that was resolved and made us feel welcome after a long journey while they prepared the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was superb.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We received a very friendly welcome over tea and scones. Our room was extremely comfortable and the breakfasts delicious. Our little dog was made welcome and forgiven when she couldn't resist wandering into the kitchen when the sausages were being cooked in the mornings! Our full vegetarian breakfasts were great. The hosts were lovely and felt like old friends after only two days. They were really thoughtful. After I said I loved hares, hare mugs appeared in our room. We really hope to go again.
Cons: Having to leave.

Pros: Large room, good parking. Nice pub/restaurant connected. All staff are good. Reasonably close to the Lotus Factory and Snetterton Race circuit. Will happily stay again.
Cons: Entry to the car park was a little rough for a low sports car. Slightly worn or tired in places.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room for what I paid was truly lovely with a small balcony looking onto a patio area, the room itself was very large and so clean and comfortable. The hotel itself was very clean and tidy and the staff were all great and very safe and following all guidelines on social distance etc. Great hotel and i will revisit 100% after all this is over as they have great range of other amenities that because of Covid are closed.
Cons: Absolutely nothing its a great hotel run by great people

7.7 Good
Pros: A very nice welcome on arrival, and help when I had left items in my room after departure.
Cons: Slow breakfast service. I arrived about halfway through the breakfast service to find most of the hot items gone, then a 15 minute wait before they were replenished.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was great, very clean and a brilliant shower, staff were friendly and generally the stay was very pleasent
Cons: The only thing i could fault was that i was told on check in room service only - due to pandemic, however later that evening i called down to order and got told there was nothing... i was however offered use of kettle and miceowave if i had any food to heat
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everyone was so lovely, the staff were very helpful and very thoughtful. The room itself was a good size, the bathroom was nice, it was all clean. Perfect night away.
Cons: It's not really a minus point, just one to take note of.... the ipod station, I couldn't find a lead to plug it in. This didn't really matter though as I had a lead with me that fitted :) (normal phone USB I think!)
7.4 Good
Cons: I would like to have seen some information in the room on the restaurant, breakfast & dinner times & maybe a sample menu & details on checkout times. there was no guest information at all not even on the area or things to do.
6.4 Good
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff; they even offered to buy in special foods for the gluten-free diet in our group. Pleasant grounds and peaceful rural setting. Good breakfast, but some fruit would have been nice. We appreciated having ground-floor rooms and being able to park right outside.
Cons: My room was far too hot and I couldn't adjust the radiator or towel rail. The shower was also too hot to stand under, so I had to have a bath each morning. I did report this and was told a plumber was due in the day, but there was no change in temperature of heating or water afterwards. I was pleased we were allowed to bring a dog at no extra charge, but felt that having to sign a detailed disclaimer was a little over the top; it was something I'd never had to do before. It also seemed a little distasteful that a hotel of this standard should be threatening to fine guests for dog-fouling and smoking in rooms; a simple, polite reminder that these are not acceptable should suffice.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service and very comfortable well sized rooms. There is ample parking adjacent to the rooms. I like the fact that all the rooms are at ground floor and are very clean. Highly recommended

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The steak was perfect absoloutly gorgeous we've eaten in some top London restaurants and paid £200 each for a steak and lobster meal but this steak beat it hands Down, room was lovely too
Cons: The staff in the restaurant were very young and weren't really very enthusiastic when it came to pointing us in the direction of menus, the bar or answering our questions which was a dissapinting start to our stay, we ordered the fish finger sandwich and a few other bits from the starter menu the fish had no taste and was so dissapointing, the bar staff wedealt with when ordering our food and drinks was much more attentive and seemed more aware of what she was doing, our room was lovely, nice view, lovely comfortable bed and jacuzzi bath, bit chilly at night as the windows are very old and a real draft came In but we laid a pair of jeans on the windowsill and that helped. We ordered steak for room service and this was a beautiful piece of meat, the chef obviously takes great pride in the produce he uses as this was cooked to perfection and was well worth every penny. Breakfast was nice Overall a lovely stay maybe the younger staff just need a little more training or at least pretend they enjoy their job
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a fabulous find! Wonderful hotel with very helpful staff, and wonderful food. The hotel is superb, wonderfully renovated by the owner, the old Rectory has many original features and the new additions have been carefully and tastefully thought out. We were even able to buy a piece of original artwork for our home!

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room, very nice owners with personal attention. Breakfast as you ask for. Very good bar and restaurant!!!
Cons: The location was no walking distence from any place.. but taxi worked fine.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was really comfortable. I loved the walk in shower - spacious and the floor was not cold as some tiled floors can be. Being able to control the temperature of the room was a bonus. The staff member who showed me to my room did a good job of explaining where everything was and how the air conditioning/heating worked.
Cons: Only a minor thing... Ordering breakfast the night before - I appreciated why this was needed (and it was delicious) but I don't always know what I would like to eat until the actual morning.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The food in the restaurant is extremely good and clearly made with a lot of care and attention, not to mention skill. It makes you think how lucky you are to have found The Auberge compared to some of the other local hotels. Rooms are air conditioned, very well appointed with high quality furnishings, soft fluffy towels and a decent shower. All in all a great place to have a tasty meal a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast to set you up for the day ahead.
Cons: All very good the worst criticism I would have is a toilet seat that doesn't have soft close!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked EVERYTHING. First class accommodation in the respect of attention to detail: spacious, clean, comfortable, beautifully furnished, great food and drink and exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly staff.

Cons: My room was adjacent to entrance of inn, so noisy, though it did stop just before 11pm. would not want to be staying in that room in the summer as there were patio tables/chairs right outside the room. Toilet seat wasn't clean. could hear another guests tv blasting out at 7.15am on the Sunday morning
