We loved the 'diner' based on Ace Cafe - loved the details, great that we could help ourselves to breakfast - loved the flexibility - the fact we could bring our own food and cook. We loved looking around the cars. We will be back to try out another room and hire a car for the day. It was perfect!

The Pit Stop deserves to be included in anyone's holiday itinerary. It is more than a B&B and it is of a very high standard. The American DIner is wonderful and don't let the self service breakfast put you off from staying here Melvyn and Sindy have everything you need in their diner to feed hungry guests. Not only do you get to stay in luxury accommodation for a reasonable cost you also get to look around the beautiful cars stored there. The Barn Annexe is set in private grounds 7 miles from Stansted airport and 2 miles from Bishop's Stortford with a direct 35 minute rail link to Stratford for the Olympic stadium, London and Cambridge. The rooms each have an en suite power shower with towels and toiletries. Tea and coffee facilities are provided and a fridge is available in all rooms. The Barn Annexe has good access to London, Cambridge, Bishop's Stortford and Harlow. An excellent village pub is nearby, serving lunch and dinner. A golf course is a short drive away from the annexe.

Pros: This is a quaint cozy away from the hustle and bustle B&B. Hotel employee is a wonderful very accomodating innkeeper. The neighborhood pub is a must visit. Definitely on my list to stay at again.

Stansted Inn is a rural B&B situated down an authentic farm track in the village of Little Hallingbury, conveniently located between Bishops Stortford, Stansted and Harlow. Stansted Inn is a comfortable, cosy bed and breakfast in scenic surroundings, set back from the main road. A local pub is a short walk away. Each room has free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and a desk. Some rooms have a private bathroom, while others have access to a shared bathroom. Bishop's Stortford town centre is 3 miles away, and there are bus routes for guests using public transport. Free parking is possible on site. Access to the M11 is a few miles away.

Pros: Excellent. The staffs are very friendly and always ready to pick you up from and to the airport which is very close to the Guest House. They also speak very clear and not to fast, easy to understand if you are not English. Very clean, very beautiful and very comfortable.
Pros: We used The Willows for overnight accommodation before a flight from Stansted. Despite the proximity to the airport it was very peaceful. The surroundings were beautifully kept with attractive floral displays enhancing the thatched cottage. Transport to and from the airport plus storage of our car were efficient.
