10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful owners and nice place
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable stay. Lovely big shower.
Cons: Not very impressed that I was told off in the morning because I was late for breakfast. It was 9:30am when I went down and was made to feel like I was a nuisance because they were about to close the kitchen down. I wasn’t told what time to have breakfast the night before so I thought that was a bit rude.

6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was cooked to order each day and very well presented.
Cons: On arrival we were told that the lift was out of action (and had been for the past month, and wasn't likely to be until the end of Sept!!!). Since my wife and I have great difficulty in negotiating stair, a lift is the first consideration when booking accommodation. No one told us before we arrived, why? The staff tried to get us alternative accommodation but as it was Cowes Week all hotels were full. We reluctantly agreed to a room on the first floor for our first night with the promise of trying to get us moved the next day. This was achieved with some serious juggling on the part of one of the receptionists but we still had to go up one flight of stairs. This spoilt our stay on the IoW for us and it certainly didn't help with our health issues. Needless to say we were therefore not afforded the room we had originally booked but our charges reflected this. Finally, this is not a hotel for the disabled or mobility challenged.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was good, staff were polite, clean big room and all the mod con's and very comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location value for money and breakfast
6.0 Good
Pros: Location was ideal for easy access to transport such as the Island Line, buses and ferry. Staff on reception and in Harry's Bar were welcoming, extremely helpful and friendly. Room was spacious I had everything required for a two night stay and could not fault the cleanliness. Good value for money in terms of room.
Cons: One small issue in the room would be the television, it was fine the first night but on the second evening you could not get a signal it was very intermittent and I was thankful that WIFI was available. Morning of departure you could only view one channel so it was getting worse. Therefore I think the TV needs some TLC. In addition though breakfast options were plenty, the cooked breakfast was overcooked and truthfully the sausage was not nice. Service was very good the first morning our waiter was very attentive but this was lacking on the second morning, different server and items such as condiments were missing from the main table.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are fabulous and the location is ideal for getting round the island without a car.
Cons: Dirty windows in bedroom Lack of heating in public rooms.
9.0 Excellent

7.0 Good
Pros: Very good full English breakfast in basement dining room. Very convenient location with own car park at the rear. Price was reasonable especially for the quiet Garden Suite, bedroom & lounge both with TV, two easy chairs and small single bed in the lounge. Newly decorated, tasteful nice curtains.
Cons: No signage on car park, had to guess that it was for the hotel on arrival. Car park very untidy, remains of a bonfire obstructed two parking spaces, lots of old rusty paint tins and unloved garden/patio area outside the Garden Suite. Poor room preparation. Had to trace extension lead and plug in to get bedside lights working, same for lounge TV. No full length mirror or dressing table, very noisy fan in bathroom, dripping hot tap unless turned off very hard. Henry vacuum cleaner left in hall by bathroom door and another in corridor to breakfast room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were lovely. Breakfast was fabulous. Our room was spacious and homely
Cons: Bed too soft for us but didn’t spoil our trip

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The sea view and the friendliness of Jamie and Matt, and the breakfast was really good
Cons: Didn't realise there would be two fairly steep flights of stairs and no lift to my room on the 2nd floor, and parking was limited
6.0 Good
Pros: Staff really friendly and welcoming - breakfast very good - room very small for a double room - no room between washbasin and door to clean teeth or shave! Didn’t have a shower - no blind at window - But lovely clean towels and bedding spotless. We were amused with TV - thought it was an iPad
Cons: As above
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is either served as a buffet style or as ordered depending on how many guests are in the hotel - which to me seems fair enough. When doing a buffet style, it is constantly topped up. There was a function on during our first night and our room was above the function room BUT we couldn't hear a thing in our room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent position just off the front but with beautiful sea views.
Cons: It is not so much that I didn't like it, but the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there is no lift, so if you're booking be sure to mention any mobility issues because the hotel is fully equipped to accommodate you, you just need to tell them.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. The breakfast was very good and overall excellent value .
Cons: Some of the rooms were a bit on the small size.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely and clean, staff were so friendly and very helpful. Great value for money especially with breakfast included. Will definitely be returning
Cons: Could do with a couple more plug sockets near bed and bigger tv for those who like to watch it

Cons: No complaints
6.7 Good
Pros: The staff were really lovely, desk managers and breakfast lady. We liked the breakfast room as well it was nice. The hotel from the outside looks beautiful. It can be a lovely spot to come in summer as there is a terrace outside (pub). They do have a pub inside in a hotel. Bed and duvets were comfy. Room was quite spacious.
Cons: Our room was very cold, it took a very long time to heat up the room as the heating obviously was shut when we arrived. The window was so old, the wind would blow in through the gaps. I could feel the breeze of wind even laying down in bed. We covered with curtains and pushed the chairs to the window so but it still kept blowing a cold air inside. I’m really surprised that no one/if no one complained about this as the desk manager was very surprised about it to hear. We sat for awhile sitting on the floor by the heater and had to stuff with something under the door as the draft was also quite strong. Our room was just on the first floor by the stairs and we could hear every single movement while we were sleeping. Bathroom had dark footprints and cups weren’t clean by the tea maker. We were really looking forward to stay there but we were really disappointed and barely slept. Not blaming staff at all as they could not change the windows for us obviously. My friend kept saying to go and ask for another room but I didn’t want to travel from room to room and make drama :))
