We had family from four states stay here when we all came together for a surprise party weekend. We all loved the décor overall, enjoyed the Sunday brunch, and clean, comfortable rooms. Pleasantly surprised by the saltwater pool! Our ages ranged from four to seventy-five -- all gave thumbs-up! Sam & Harry's got points for a nice brunch and great service on Sunday morning - but not so much Saturday night when the hostess gave some (bad) attitude. Hopefully, just someone having a bad night. Overall -- great facility & staff! Wish the pool hours would be extended - maybe adults only later? (Hard to relax or do laps while someone else's unsupervised kids are throwing footballs all over the place!) Also - WIFI should be a given at a facility like this!
Booked a King bed room, but upon arrival was told it was unavailable.
It was clean and comfortable. Good value for the price No refrigerator in room
The rooms are clean and fairly large. All the necessities are included in the bathroom even toothpaste! The bathrooms are clean and the rooms are comfortable and fairly dark at night. The food at this hotel is the worst food I've ever experienced from any hotel. I've stayed here before, about a year and a half ago, and the food was horrible then and it's horrible now. Their yogurt parfaits tasted sour. The food in the restaurant is tasteless and overcooked. It's also pretty expensive for the quality.
Very comfortable and nicely appointed. We came for business, but squeezed in a trip to the mall. We didn't use the shuttle, but appreciated there is one and it makes the immediate area very accessible. We'd return and recommend to others who need a place in Schaumburg to stay.
I enjoyed the entire stay! Amazing staff and the rooms were impeccable! Will definitely return! I had no complaints!
Ease of getting in and out of the area. close to many restaurants and shopping The hotel was very hard to find due to the lack of signage on the outside
Nice staff Parking
The location is great. The price I got was low ($110). The hotel is from the 1980's and hasn't aged well. I couldn't get the wi-fi set up as it required logging in with my Hilton Honors ID and I couldn't remember my password. There was a long queue (about 15 rooms of guests) to check in and not enough staff to handle, resulting in a 25 min wait to check in. The check-in process took a while with each person being told too much info: just hand us the keys. I was required to leave my keys with a valet while briefly parked to check in, and it took 10 min to track him down again and get the keys back.
in the airport building, reasonably priced. Maids kept knocking in the morning even though we had a late check-out.
Nice clean room. Great location if you have early flight and live far from airport like us. Or if you have an overnight connection. Just a short walk underground and your at the airport terminal.
Easy to catch early morning flight from the hotel. We were there at a difficult time for the staff.I thought they handled it very well.
Gaslight Club! The room was lovely, the bed comfortable and most of the staff was customer service oriented. There were not enough people at registration, so there was a long wait to check-in. There was one woman who just stood by one of the other agents and then went to the far right and stood by another agent and just walked away when I asked her for help. It was very distressing, as I had a dinner date waiting.
My husband went to make coffee in the room when he got water from the sink it was a milky white color. We tried a couple more times to see if it was a fluke, it was not. When we called down to the desk she said she would send maintenance, it was 12:30 am and we had just gotten in on a flight so we just asked for a bottle of water. We were told that it would cost $4 for one when it was their water that was not clean. Worst customer service we have ever had at a Hilton.
We had booked this reservation in advance because we were scheduled for a very long overnight layover in Chicago. Our flight to Chicago was cancelled because of weather, as were many others that night, and we were rerouted but the airport would not cancel our reservation, charging us for a room that we had no way of using. We would have thought that a hotel inside an airport would have been more understanding, particularly since I'm sure they filled our room with stranded passengers, but they wouldn't even begin to discuss the issue when we called that night. We were severely disapointed
Location is terrific! Service is great. Perfect for an overnight stay, before or after a long overseas trip. We stayed before and after our trip to India. Best, David O'Brien
Walking access to ORD and CTA
The views of the O'hare airport from the 10th floor were awesome, bed was very comfortable, extremely convenient for business travel, nice hotel restaurant and transportation from the hotel was seamless, upgraded room came with free WiFi (odd to charge for this Ina business hotel) Upgraded my room for $50 more per night and the in room TV and ordering system was nonfunctional. Pretty antiquated on demand system and the TV remote didn't work well. In the hotel's defense they offered to switch rooms but honestly I didn't want to pack back up and move, also it's an extra charge for the workout facilities and pool/spa (maybe not if you get the more expensive room)
Stopped by the bar for a light dinner. The tables were not clean and the server was overwhelmed. I waited twenty minutes for her to acknowledge me and at least ten more minutes for her to clean the table. I was meeting someone at that location otherwise I would have left. When we received our food it was less than good. I had to ask three times for our bill!
Everything... Stairs were hard on my knees but that's my problem :) Delightful wedding venue. Room Service was wonderful! Marble floor in the bathroom...could have been disasterous...Very pretty but very hard when I fell. Luckily all I hurt was my pride. I know the marble is very attractive but is there any way it can be made non skid...I can't be the only female that's ever walked into one of those bathrooms in nylons...
Great hotel bar with happy hour and great food. Airport Shuttle service Clean, comfortable rooms. Parking situation is difficult when arriving and checking in.
Great location, with easy access from your parking garage. Polite and helpful stay. Great breakfast buffet. Big T.V in our room #302.
Excellent facilities and extremely nice and helpful staff. Parking was a nightmare, and if you could find a space it cost $30 per night. They could also use another set of elevators.
Great value. Very nice design. Convenient location. Polite staff. Full parking lot. Long walk to the room.
Great value for quiet and modern room. Staff was very nice. They let us check-in at noon. Red bar has great food and appetizers. Construction outside of hotel entrance was an eyesore.
The Hyatt is consistent in quality service and features. I stayed here for a conference that was down the street. I got in early and a room was not ready and needed to have some breakfast. The wait staff were fabulous, told me I could stay with them as long as I needed and offered to check with the front desk on the readiness of a room. The Bell Caps took care of my items and locked up my stuff because I had a lap top, Red was a great place to eat, great staff. There is courtesy transportation from Ohare every 15 minutes. There is a mall about .6 miles away, an easy walk or a $6 cab ride. The blue line is a 10 minute walk away. A room was not ready when I arrived and the front desk offered to take my number down and would call me when it was ready, I never received a call. The person I was traveling with received free WI FI (not a priority member) and i had not. It could have been end user error but even when I used the code my travel partner had, it would not work. At check out, the front desk did credit me. I simply recommend to anyone to ask about the free WI FI to save the hassle of $15 for a basic connection.
Everything the waiting Time for shuttle to the casino
The price was right for just staying one night with a very early morning flight I stayed here for Beatles Fests in 1990-93. Many changes downstairs but the hall ways, the rooms, etc seriously need updating.
Room was comfortable and clean. Everything I needed was available. Only a 6 minute cab right to Gino's East for the classic Chicago Deep Dish experience. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and there were lots of events happening! The TV wasn't working correctly. Channels wouldn't update and the room service menu wouldn't load. There was a bit of nickle and dime-ing as well.
Workout room had lots of equipment. The rooms were comfortable. It's a huge hotel with a huge atrium and the sound travels easily up from the first to the tenth floor. This made it impossible to sleep with a rowdy group in the hotel. I also hate paying $25 for a crappy breakfast buffet and $25 a day for parking. i felt ripped off.
Loved the locarion, the over all feel of the hotel, and the staff was very friendley. The room was a little small for two people.
I enjoyed the limited time i stayed at the hotel. The staff was really helpful, the continental breakfast was always hot. i always had a clean room w/ clean sheets.i would stay here again the next time i am in chicago
I stayed here with my kids and it was a good experience. The manager was nice. The room was clean. I liked having the full kitchen. Good value for the money.
In my quest to find an affordable place to stay while attending classes at the Motorola facility, I found the Staybridge Suites and elected to give them a try. The rooms were comfortable and facilities exceed my expectations. I would highly reccommend and plan to stay again when I again visit the Schaumburg area.
Never again. Very disappointing place to stay. Room was very beat up-bugs on floor in kitchen area, red spots on carpet, and couch and chair had tears. Really needs some work.
After spending one night downtown we moved to the Staybridge so we could visit IKEA. My husband (a snorer) and I stayed in one bedroom and my son had the other one. Both bedrooms had their own bath and the living/kitchen area was in between so the rooms were adequately separated and my son wasn't kept awake by his dads snoring. The grounds were great, plenty of free parking and a very nice breakfast. All at a very reasonable cost. Doesn't get much better than that.
I was very impressed with the staff, clealiness of the entire grounds & the room. The breakfast buffet was great - something for everybody. The room was extremely comfortable & clean. The staff was very attentive to our needs, We were close to everywhere we needed to be. We will definately stay here again next year!! ' FOUR THUMBS UP!!
The staybridge suites were excellent for a 3 star hotel. Not only was it very roomy and comfortable but it offered so much. We had a kitchen, living room that separates from the bedroom. The bed was comfortable and perfect size. We really did not want to leave, I could have lived there. And the location was great also, everything was less than 5 minutes away.
This hotel was every thing we were expecting and much more. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and very nice. We will definitely stay again.
The suite we had was excellent. It was clean and spacious. Very much worth the money which we got at a very low price. The breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and will use this hotel again in the future.
Location was good and close to shopping. To start off with, the room had several spiders in it with cob webs everywhere. There was black mold on the wall by the window when we pulled back the curtains. The 2nd day we found an earwig crawling on the bathroom floor. The walls were paper thin, you could hear the entire phone conversation of the guest in the other room including the person on the other line. Not a good stay at all. I brought this to the attention of the front desk attendant and he could of cared less. I would not choose to stay there again and would never recommend this place to anyone based on our stay.
The floors in our room were very sticky, even the carpet. We didn't even take our shoes off because it was so gross. My parents room had the latch on the frame of their door completely missing. The staff working breakfast didn't even speak English, so you couldn't even ask them anything or explain anything. That was extremely frustrating. To pay that kind of money and have your room be dirty, and not maintained, as well as staff that doesn't speak English? We were extremely disappointed.
The location was great and staff were responsive when we had an issue with the door jamming and with billing confusion over a prepaid room. It's nice having an all-suite hotel so we don't have to think about which room we want. There were ashtrays in the non-smoking rooms, several cigarette butts in the sink when we arrived, and the whole room stank. We arrived well after bedtime with a cranky toddler and were only staying one night, so we just dealt with it, but it was gross.
Very dirty and uncomfortable. Would not recommend.
The staff was exceptional. They provided needed information with a smile and even provided their own pizza to my hungry children who had been stranded on the highway for a couple of hours due to a car accident. The bed was uncomfortable. We woke with aching backs.
Room was nice and big. Free breakfast. VERY GOOD VALUE if you are staying near Chicago!
The hotel was very clean, the room design was nice, convenient location, city was very safe. Overall I had a nice experience. There was only one thing that I didn't like, which was that when I booked my room I had free breakfast, but the only way I could have it would be for me to leave my room and go to the lobby.. It would have been nice to have it come to my room.
The staff was really friendly and the hotel is very high quality
clean comfortable, great bed, attentive and friendly staff. A good choice for business travel.
I like it when everything is new or newer and updated. Didnt feel like you where staying in someone elses old house.
breakfast. staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. room was fine, and location was just what we needed for the nearby Japanese mall and LegoLand. no maid service at all (we stayed 2 nights). trash cans were thus overflowing, etc. one of the two front desk people didn't seem interested in the hotel business, and wasn't particularly friendly (the other person was great!)
We especially liked the room layout, the bed, instant hot or cold water, and the breakfast.
relatively close to center where I was facilitating a class. If I was closer to the center.
Very nice, large room with table. Good breakfast selections - unique breakfast sandwiches. Nice, helpful staff. Would have liked a microwave in the room.
Great location, terrific breakfast, very professional staff Our room was right next to the elevator and it was really noisy. You could hear everyone talking at just their normal voices. The pull out bed was old and uncomfortable even for kids. Beware that inventory online doesn't guarantee the room you requested
Spacious rooms, great location close to everything, free breakfast. Malfunctioning airconditioner/heater unit. Since we were there only for a night, we did not bother requesting a room change.
Staff, location, breakfast!
Location Hello, Everything was OK BUT Please have Management check out ALL telephones in the room especially room 616 where we stayed the cleanliness of the phone was pathetic just take a look very closely Please, Each time the Maids should wipe them down 100%
staff, convenience for where we were going, breakfasts no
The staff was very pleasant and accommodating on arrival. Our room was larger than expected, which included a large seating area. The breakfast was excellent including several hot items and fresh fruit.
The staff was so helpful and kind. There was a terrible wind storm when we arrived. The computers were not working properly but they offered refreshments and got us settled into our rooms as quickly as possible.
Pool was warm and room was very clean! The people working the front desk did not meet my expectations in hospitality or customer service.
Huge rooms! Delicious breakfast! Showers have amazing water pressure! The TV didn't work properly.
Easy friendly check in.
Coffee but no coffee maker. No fridge.
Staff was absolutely wonderful, went above and beyond, very welcoming making our stay even better! Breakfast was the best I have had during a hotel stay to this point. Workout facility was great with all precor fitness machines. I would definitely return to this facility hands down. We did not receive a cookie at check in, not a big deal but a good doubletree stamp that we love.
Quiet No cookie
The social hour that provided free appetizers and beverages I had to be moved to three different rooms during my two night stay. First I was given a room already occupied and walked in on the guest, the second room had a faulty heat/air register that screeched every time it stopped running, third room was ok
Big room No
The breakfast and amenities. No.
I liked the clean rooms. No
The breakfast was one of the best included that I have ever had. The omelet station was great. There was a stron food smell in our room anytime there was food in the lobby. I think there was a ventilation problem. WE were on the 2nd floor but it smelled like we were in the kitchen.
Good location. great staff clean room. Lots of freebies lots of freebies The pool was way too cold . Should at least be 78 degrees in the winter. Breakfast very early. Should end at 10:30 the earliest. Also no where to sit at breakfast if you are on time.
The front desk was very friendly and accommodating. Made to order omelets for breakfast was a nice feature. The room was spacious and clean. We will definitely stay at a Hyatt again!
Awesome! Will definitely stay in the future.

Staff was very good. Breakfast was good as well. The pictures of the pool area were very deceiving. The pool is quite small.

Nothing much Pay to park even though it was that far from city, bad bathroom, no complementary breakfast
Newly remodeled, clean hotel; staff is very polite and proffesional. Stayed there over 30 times in the last 2 yrs, and will definitely do it again
Didn't attend due to not being able to get to the hotel. Contacted Loews and cancelled the reservation without any issues, but the booking agency decided that it was within their no cancellation period, so still charged. If the hotel refunds, I fail to understand why the agency still charges?
Not impressed with charging to register early. And never have had a 4 pm register time.
The staff was extremely friendly, the hotel looked great and the parking garage was great for us to leave our vehicle during our trip.
We got there and we had asked for a room with two beds and they said they didn't have one when we had already made the reservation with two beds. Staff did not do anything to accomadate us. Registration lady was rude and short.
Clean, cool decor, good service, good shuttle , if you are ever stuck at Ohare Consider this hotel
Stayed in numerous ohare area hotels during past five years and hands down, Loews was heads above in cleanliness, staff, and overall presentation. Spacious yet quiet, especially in a bustling area. Will be back.
Bed could have been more comfortable.
Nicely appointed room; very good about late check in despite being busy (~2am). I had to purchase a toothbrush and have the lady and the shop tell the front desk guy (who had sent me to their shop) to give me toothpaste because they were out. A little dissapointing given the price and proximity to the airport.
I had an all around great stay. Great location for traveling, shuttle service, shopping and eating out but also the restaurants in house. But two things I would look into I stayed the 12/18-19 and as I was waiting for the shuttle around 430 am a drunk guest was vomiting in front of the doors, spitting on the walk mat, and just being ridiculous but i seen staff members walk right by him and do nothing. Being in the industry I would have thought to get this guy away from guests whether by using security or simply asking him if he needed help. It was disgusting having to see him vomit and spit then smell it while waiting for shuttle services.
Clean, good location. Room could be more quiet. I think the vents made noises.
Hotel was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Mini-fridge and coffee maker were handy. Check in/out was efficient. Wifi was free and worked as well as most, better than some. Lots of restaurants in area. Did not spend a lot of time in hotel and had little interaction with staff. It was a great value for Chicago area. Shampoo, lotion etc were more than half empty. Not a huge deal but noticeable.
Coffee area was comfortable and accommodating. Staff was very nice and attentive to our needs! Price was excellent for our stay. Wished the bathroom had a fan for shower humidity.
The staff were very professional and friendly. Excellent stay from start to finish.
Loved the location, Schaumburg is central to everything. The value/price ratio couldn't be beat. The rooms were very clean and the staff very pleasant. We would definitely stay here again. Nice exercise room. Not really a minus for most folks, but they had one washer, two dryers. It's always nice to have two washers for whites and colors to maximize throughput (like the morning you leave).
Staff was nice n the rooms was nice and clean
We didn't really hang out at the hotel much but everything was clean, reasonably priced, close to tons of places and the staff was fantastic! Everything I could ask for a hotel! They didn't have a sweet indoor cigar smoking lounge? Really, there was nothing I can complain about this hotel!
We didn't spend too much time actually at the hotel but we were extremely satisfied to see how clean and inviting it was. The staff was excellent! Definitely a hotel I would recommend. Given that we spent most of the our time near downtown Chicago it was a long can drive back every time since they weren't close. But that was all on us. All other places that were in Schaumburg were easily accessed.
Super clean excellent service
Really happy we stumbled on this hotel while trying to save money for our Chicago trip. It was so worth it! The drive time to Chicago ranged from 40 mins to an hr but was definitely worth it to us. The surrounding area and the actual village of Schaumburg are just so pleasant. The staff was excellent, the rooms were great for the price, and I loved that we got a fridge in the room as well. We would definitely stay there again. The walls are pretty thin so I couldn't imagine staying next to a rowdy group of people or maybe even a small child. Also the fitness center says it has weights but it was just cardio machines and some mats. Still would stay here again.
The place was clean and new There was a significant lack of staff and food during breakfast to handle the number of people staying at the hotel. 2 of the three days all of the food we gone, and took some 15-20 minutes to be replenished.
Staff was friendly. Convenient location to Schaumburg Convention Center, restaurants, and super market (Target). Limited parking. Ice machine was broken. Air was a little dry in our room.
We enjoyed our stay at the Country Inn and Suites in Schaumberg. My boys loved the indoor pool and my husband enjoyed the free beer in the evening. Rooms were clean and the staff was nice. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
Clean, convenience. Had a difficult time regulating air conditioning. Too cold in bedroom area. overall very good stay and price.
Convenient location, quiet room, comfortable beds, free wi-fi. Enjoyed the pool & hot tub. The hot breakfast was appreciated. An evening reception was offered on Saturday but we didn't have a chance to take advantage of it. Overall, a great get-away. Room furnishings were a little worn- carpet stains, chipped paint, etc- but didn't really affect our stay.
the quetness and proximity to interstate, woodfield mall area as well as nearby dining venues the entrance just feet away from Roselle road was a bit dangerous when traffic from opposite direction blocks hotel entrance and simultaneously, there are cars behind you as your trying to make left hand turn....

Breakfast was excellent. Good variety and choices. Well stocked and clean Room I booked and paid for was NOT available. Staff did little to make situation right. I had to ask forna rollaway bed and for a reduced rate since room I booked was not available.

Many pleasant surprises for this star level hotel that you don't see in in a higher rated hotel.Extendable magnifying mirror in bathroom, retractable clothes line in the shower, very quiet rooms, comfortable beds, Fresh popcorn in lobby. All in all A+! There really wasn't anything. The decor and style was a bit dated, but it is 'Country' Inn and Suites, so it wasn't awful. Everything was very clean.
Clean, friendly, pool and hot tub was awesome! Great location to use the metra to union station, including the free parking for the train. The Breakfest was great. The little snack shop area was the best. When you travel it's nice to relax! No negative comments on this hotel
Location was great, right off the highway. Clean clean clean. A little worn down but otherwise a good clean place to stay not far from the city. Breakfast staff was not very attentive. It wasn't busy at all and they ran out of some of the items so folks were left waiting 15-20 minutes while more food was prepared. No apology from any of the staff.
Having to pay for parking, Internet and continental breakfast. Every hotel I've ever stayed at its always been complimentary. There was a pic of a hot tub in there description, butt when we got there, there was no hot tub .
Beds were nice and comfy, breakfast was great, and he restaurants had great choices Tv service needed better service and channel options. Takes 5 seconds to change a channel
I liked that the rooms and the pool areas was clean. I didn't like that I booked a room with this particular hotel me baths in advance and I was giving one of the poorest selections of rooms in my opinion! I was on the second floor of the hotel with no window view and it was extremely humid in the room even after I adjusted the temperature on the thermostat time after time. I would say the real reason why I was giving such a poor section in room choice but I'll just leave at this!
It is a very clean place. The crew is extremely friendly and I enjoyed the stay. The have a pool and a gym. The front desk remembered my name (even though it was a very short stay) and offered me to join their club and gather points, which was nice. On the not so good side of things it seemed like you're being charged for everything. The parking costs $25, there is no breakfast included and there is only so much wi fi you could use before being charged as well.
I liked how friendly the staff were, even down to the maintenance guy we talked to in the elevator. Checking in and out was very speedy. Very nice hotel inside. Didn't like how I had to pay $24.00 just to park at a hotel I was staying at. Also food was very expensive, but guess that comes with being in a big city.
Bussines oriented only
While we were there.... the pool was "out of order" .we were told we could go across the street to use neighbor hotels pool..... not real convieniet on Dec 23. ..... ice maker did not work on 4th floor, Wi-if did not function .... rooms were clean , but otherwise disappointing
Clean. Quiet room. Nice bathroom. Near the Rosemont entertainment district. Self park should be free with validation. Paid $24
I enjoyed the hotel. It was large and stood out. The rooms were moderate in size. Decent bathroom. Safe in the room was a plus. There was food crumbs under the hide a bed/couch. The parking cost is outrageous. Not only did you have to remember your room key but your parking pass to get out. This was definitely the down fall for me.
The Chicago Fire Oven and Staff were extremely great. Anything that we needed was handled right away! I wasn't really sure why we had to pay an additional fee for parking... they should just tack that on to the overall total of your stay.
it was clean in spite the fact our reservation was for 3adults + a child, both days we received only two cups even when more were requested including a tip
I stayed with my parents, wife and kids in Feb 2015. It is well located near a Woodfield mall, highway 90/53/290 and wide range of restaurants. The indoor heated pool and hot tub are well maintained and a added bonus in Feb weather of Chicago. All the staff we interacted with were very courteous and helpful. The full kitchen with all the essentials (plates, silverware, pans and etc) were also very helpful to have. Breakfast buffet is wonderful. Excellent place to stay!
No privacy! The guests in the pool were children alone. Unattended by parents and over the maximum capacity by DOUBLE. Kids were screaming non stop The door to the hotel room was a wall of glass, if the drapes are open. You could peek right in!
Friendly staff Happy Hour Noisy Cold showers Water pressure poor
The breakfast made to order is awesome! I don't have anything bad to say.
I love that we get two rooms with a door dividing the two with Embassy Suites. The staff was friendly! I feel like this location really needs an update. Everything just feels a little old. We've stayed at many other hotels in this area and this Embassy Suites is our last choice. Nothing in particular that was 'bad', but nothing stood out as spectacular either. The breakfast choices were really minimal and not very tasty. I was really surprised that we felt this way as the breakfast here used to be one of the favorite things about staying here.
There was a spider in the bathroom.
Rooms were very spacious, but dated. I liked the mini fridge, microwave and separate living space from the bedroom. The bedroom also had an additional vanity with mirror and sink for getting ready in the mornings. Coffee in room was nice. BRING YOUR OWN HAIRDRYER! It took me over an hour to blow dry my hair, so be sure to bring your own, ladies with longer hair! The rooms were dated, but provided a lot of space. Bathrooms were dated as well.
