Cons: Shuttle to and from airport was EXTREMELY slow. Going back to the airport the bus went through the “customer” line which took 25 minutes. There was a bunch of people including myself that almost missed our flights. The bus needs to get to the airport quicker as well as pick up from the airport quicker. When we first arrived we saw the Hertz and other rental car companies shuttles pass THREE times before ours even showed up. Our car was also very dirty upon pickup, not great to see.

Cons: I stood in an hour long line to pick up my car. They should have it separated by reservation vs non-reservation. Since I got my car an hour later than I reserved my rate got switched to an hourly rate, I gave myself a 2 hour block, 1100-1300 to drive back. My original reservation was for a full day rate. I asked the employee who also happened to be the manager if it was ok for me to show up later than my scheduled time since I wasn't going to make it back by 1300. He said it was fine, he neglected to tell me that my rate was changed to an hourly rate so if I show up much later I'll be charged a late fee. My plans changed a bit and I ended up getting to the other rental car office at 2200. They preceded to tell me that I had to pay $127.11. My original quoted price online for a day rental was $56.24, the price they said I was going to pay at the first office was $43.66. The employee I talked to said I could keep the keys and just come in early tomorrow to talk to the manager to get my price looked at. When I came in the next morning the manager said that because I was late dropping off the car I had not only the hourly rate to pay but the daily rate I was originally quoted and a late fee as well as almost $30 in fuel. That's the $127.11. The fuel charge was for 2.5 gallons because the car was apparently a "smart car" and it calculated that because I drove it 30 miles it needed 2.5 gallons. This was despite that fact that the fuel gauge never moved and said full and when I picked up the car the range estimate was 400 and when I dropped it off it was 380. So it was maybe a gallon low since the fuel economy said 20 miles to the gallon. I think the "smart car" chip thing is an excuse to charge 10 dollars a gallon on fuel, as there is no assurance that if I had gotten fuel closer they still wouldn't of said "well it's not what we gave you." I ended up having to call budget customer support and while I was on hold waiting for my price to be adjusted the manager came over and miraculously my price had been dropped to the quoted rate I had received online $56.24.

Pros: My only complaint would be at pick up. The lady behind the counter offered fill gas tank option for you- which I chose. She told me right before swiping the credit card “ this is a charge for a full tank of gas.” I questioned her because I don’t know the vehicle, I don’t think it would be a full tank refill need?? She said it would. I only used 1/2 tank fuel for the drive Denver to Aspen.
Cons: Don’t go with gas options . Fill your own tank before returning the car- I was overcharged by opting for car rental to refill. This was not explained to me correctly.

Cons: I have never rented a car without a full tank of gas. The car had less than 1/2 tank and was not noted in any of the paperwork. I returned the car with over 1/2 tank of gas. I received no credit!! The drop off process was awful. No organization. No one met us at drop off. I went inside and was told I had to have the car inspected. Went back outside and hunted down an attendant. He barely understood English and just said OK. I left and never received a final receipt. Total ineptness on Budget’s part. Will not rent Budget again.
Cons: Everything went very well
Pros: Plenty or vehicles available, adequate number of staff while it was busy.
Cons: I had to book last minute after my other rental company was closed at 8pm. Even with hundreds of vehicles available they price gouged me at every turn. I paid a total of $280 for an economy three day rental. It’s ok because I like to write and read reviews and these big companies will eventually learn that repeat clientele is better than the couple extra bucks they made.
