Pros: I like the facility
Cons: I didn't like the staff! I had paid for my stay through kayak arrived at the hotel late and staff didnt let me check in
Excellent10.0
Pros: The resort was clean, our room was spacious, the beach was beautiful and the food was delicious. We cannot wait for another visit.
Excellent10.0
Pros: We stayed for a 10 year anniversary trip. It was a classy resort that we loved because it catered to a different style than the stereotypical spring break type resorts. Rooms, restaurants, pool, beach, all very spacious and stylish.
Excellent9.4
Pros: The location of the resort was perfect. Very close to the shopping, supermarkets, restaurants, ferry to Isla Mujeres. The beach on the resort was also very beautiful. The resort itself was also incredibly nice. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would definitely go back to this resort.
Cons: We had dinner at the Mexican restaurant in the resort one night; which is a buffet as opposed to a la carte ordering. The dinner was very expensive and "included drinks," however the available drink selection was limited to cheap options that I wouldn't order normally. We also ate dinner a little on the later side and it appeared that the food in the buffet was sitting around for a while before we showed up to eat. All in all, I recommend eating outside of the resort. You will get better food at lower prices.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Overall the location was excellent, close to night clubs. The pools were awesome and not to mention the staff was top notch. Beach was clean and easy to access, the pools were well maintained and clean. The room was clean, WIFI worked in my room but got better reception in the lobby area.
Cons: No information as to the the three onsite restaurants, no menu's not even a mention. The in-room minibar was nice but expensive.
Excellent8.0
Pros: good pools and beach access
Cons: everything was extra, nothing inclusive, restrictions on outside food/drink
Excellent10.0
Pros: Hotel, Restaurants staffs were very attentive and Hotel is awesome
Excellent8.5
Pros: Location of hotel near town, Beauty of Hotel and grounds, cleanliness and maintenance of facilities
Cons: 1) Beach location was not the best. During February, the hotel itself blocked sun from pool and beach from around 8am to 11am and then again from around 4pm to 6pm. Beach and Pool in shadow of hotel. 2) Too many kids for what wants to be a luxurious hotel. 3) Make sure you use the room sign to declare you want privacy. Maids came in every day while we were sleeping or dressing despite our shouting - please don't come in now.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Loved the location. Staff was wonderful especially the walk up bar. The breakfast buffet was excellent.
Excellent8.8
Pros: The staff was excellent, very attentive and helpful and mostly bilingual. We were there in March and the weather was great, but the beach is shaded fairly early in the afternoon. We had to keep moving around the pool to stay in the sun. Luckily the resort was not full so it was not a problem. We did not eat at the buffets, but ordered off the menu and the food was very good.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Everything about it was exquisite!! I took my husband for his 40th bday. The service was perfect all around. People are so kind and accommodating. The ocean was gorgeous...relaxing, perfection all around!!
Cons: Nothing!!
Excellent8.0
Cons: No shuttle service
Excellent10.0
Pros: service is perfect
Excellent9.7
Pros: It's right on the beach with plenty of pools and bars to kick it at. The staff is very professional, and > 90% are bilingual. There is even a water sports hut at the end of the beach where you can rent jet skis, parasailing, water jet packs, etc.
Cons: If you're going here in the off-season like we did, I would note that the back side of the hotel (where all the pools and beach are located) does NOT face the sun!! So it gets dark a little early for our taste. The sun went down behind the big hotel at like 3 PM each day. We started waking up at 8 AM to get the most out of our day once we overslept and found out the hard way.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Everything about the experience was amazing. Pretty clear to me now why it's a 5 star rated hotel.
Cons: N / A
Excellent10.0
Pros: When you stay here you know why it's called the "Grand" Fiesta Americana Coral Beach... It's GRAND! This was our fourth time in Cancun, and second time at this hotel. Service, cleanliness, location - water and land, comfort, style and elegance, and food are the best!
Cons: The price is more than a lot of hotels in Cancun, and it's not All Inclusive So you'll pay for food and drink, but it's worth it!
Excellent10.0
Pros: The location was great, 5 minutes walking from the Coco Bongo area but still quiet. service was perfect, staff was very nice and always asked if we needed anything. The beach of the hotel is amazing and very comfortable to go down to from the pool area. Room was perfect, clean, comfortable
Cons: water and coffee in the room should not be with extra charge.
Excellent10.0
Pros: High quality luxury hotel with compact layout. Pools and beach about a minute walking from the main lobby area. Beach has little surf and is very swim-able. Bars and restaurants were all high quality and reasonably cheap. I took a mini suite which has a seating area between the sleeping area and the balcony. Perfect for lounging in the afternoon. Plenty of bars, restaurants and nightclubs with 5 minutes walk if you want to experience something outside the hotel.
Cons: Really nothing.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Third time in past 2 years we've stayed here. Great pool and poolside service. Lobby is excellent ambience as well. Good restaurants and food. Excellent rooms, great views, great beach. We like it because it isn't all inclusive but every bit as nice. As it is not all inclusive, gives us plenty of freedom to decide whether to stay in or go off property for eating and/or activities. So some days and part days we hung out at the pool and swam in the ocean. Other days we ventured out to sail to Isla Mujeres and into town to eat at street side cafe.
Cons: Practically nothing is not to like about this hotel. In the past I've eaten at the breakfast buffet, which is excellent. But this time decided the $30ea price tag was a little much. Instead, we tended to sleep in and skip breakfast, instead snacking on some fruit/granola in the room before grabbing an early lunch around 11-12 (early by Mexican standards at least, who are accustomed to lunch between 1-2), and then not feel bad about spending more for dinner most nights.
Excellent10.0
Excellent8.0
Pros: Great beach although it gets shade starting at 3:00 pm. Friendly staff. Basilic restaurant amazing. Tea bags and coffee in the room are charged as if they were minibar items. You have to pay to use the gym and the spa, even if the room I stayed in cost me US$500 a night!
Nestled on the beach, this Zona Hotelera hotel is just steps away from Delphinus Dreams and Gaviota Azul Beach. Cancun Convention Center and Forum Beach are also within 10 minutes.

Pros: North beach and Pool, Great Food (sometimes was cold but good taste), Spa.
Cons: Intermitent Wifi and Cable TV, extra charges for additional person.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Staff were all very helpful. Many different food choices. Room in the turquoise tower was the nicest out family had ever seen. Pool and beach area just perfect! Would recommend to anyone traveling to Cancun.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Amazing staff service
Cons: Food.
Excellent9.1
Pros: Great experience and facilities. Awesome pools as well as recreational areas including the beach. Loved that they had kayak and paddleboarding for free.
Cons: The food wasn't great, it could have been better. The service at the restaurants wasn't great, you had to be asking multiple times for stuff.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The staff and the attention to detail was incredible. They truly treat you like royalty. The location and food were excellent too. Everything was perfect
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
Excellent8.2
Pros: Hurricane Matthew messed up our plans for our wedding ceremony on the beaches of South Carolina, so we decided to ease the pain with a three day jaunt with our boys to Hyatt Ziva. Having spent a weekend at Hyatt Zilara in late June for my wife's birthday, we were somewhat familiar with the Hyatt brand, and knew what to expect from a quality standpoint. The friendliness of the staff is what we enjoyed the most. They make you feel like they are genuinely happy you are there, from the concierge staff to the kids club staff, and everyone in between. The hospitality is top-notch. The sugar sand beaches at Ziva are really nice. Both are protected so the crystal clear waters are calm and refreshing. The lounge chair area next to Habenero's was the best, being right next to the water with service staff to deliver drinks with a smile. Our 6 yr old can't stop talking about The Kids Club. He had such a good time with other kids his age, playing in the water park or eating lunch in one of the restaurant's, or making arts and crafts together. Total winner in that regard. We were able to enjoy the live salsa band that played Thursday night on the rooftop bar. We had a blast dancing all night long.
Cons: There were some things that we wished were better. We had a great time dancing Thursday night, but that was it. No other night had any exciting thing to do. We were treated to some nice performances on Friday night, which was Mexico night, so the main area was decorated and vendors had set up shop to sell stuff, and the food was pretty amazing as well, but we still were disappointed that there wasn't another club like atmosphere to enjoy. And speaking of the food, it was spotty at best. Other than the fare that was offered on Mexico night, it was kinda disappointing. We weren't expecting a gourmet experience, but we thought it would be better than it was. The pool areas seemed a little bi-polar. The main area had someone talking on the speaker constantly, with this droll, canned music playing in the background, and the water felt like a bathtub. In contrast, the smaller pool area on the south beach side was to quiet, with no music at all and the water was downright cold. We thought that a little more balance would have been nice. I was charged and international transaction fee by the resort. When I first questioned what this charge was, they told me that it was from my bank. But after talking to my bank today I was notified that it was in fact the resort that facilitated this charge. I will be calling them this afternoon to address this. Overall it was a great weekend.

Pros: I love the family oriented atmosphere.
Cons: The cleansing product used the smell is too strong and the bath tub can be a little cleaner and the light switch needs cleaning.
Excellent9.1
Pros: Staff was friendly and very helpful; good location with bus stop right in front, and of course, right on the beautiful beach; several restaurants in the hotel
Cons: pool is pretty simple, not huge, (but still very nice)
Good7.0
Pros: Comfy bed. Beach. Pool breakfast
Cons: Advertised as all inclusive but is not. Lots of construction on the top level
Excellent10.0
Excellent hotel, excellent staff. Be sure to eat at the lobby bar which is not listed as a dining menu. I wish I had stayed longer than 8 days.
Excellent8.0
Pros: Location was perfect. Guests were very polite.
Cons: What little money (pathetic amount) Marriott pays their employees and knowing that the employees are charged for what little food they eat on site. Cleaning staff was great, front desk very helpful. Tour operator was not helpful.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Great lobby and rooms. Food was good and over priced. Grounds were well maintained. Staff were professional and courteous.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent8.8
Pros: I really enjoyed everything!
Cons: No coffee maker in rooms
Excellent8.6
Pros: Loved the location of the hotel right on the water. We were there at the end of September, so it wasn't too crowded. The hotel was absolutely beautiful with great seating if you want to have a nice chat over coffee with your friends, like I did. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping did a great job each day of restoring it back to new. The gym was great - I actually went every single day. Overall everything about this hotel was pretty great, especially for the price. The hotel is close to a bus line in order to access main parts of town, i.e. Market 28 and the nightlife. The Champion restaurant/bar that attaches to the hotel has good food and fun karaoke at night, and wasn't too crowded either.
Cons: There wasn't a lot of cheap food options nearby the hotel, which made it slightly difficult to stay on a budget (since we weren't all inclusive).
Excellent9.4
Pros: Friendly staff, gorgeous beach, spacious pool and hot tub
Excellent9.4
Pros: The rooms were clean, the facilities were great, and the service was incredible. Everyone we encountered was so nice, attentive, and helpful! There are tons of chairs on the beach and a good number with umbrellas for those who want shade. The staff at the beach bar were always so nice and fast. They will make sure you have everything you need for the whole day. Get the Ceviche -- it's great!
Cons: Check-in/Check-out were a bit rough. While the staff was still very friendly, both processes were veryyyy slow.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Great beach Lots of beach chairs Good service Great beachfront views Big rooms with big balconies
Cons: Some better restaurant options--more authentic/local Outside breakfast dining option would have been nice Had a big balcony but some sun lounging chairs would have been nice

Cons: Check-in process and forcing to sit through a sales pitch.

Pros: Everything was amazing !
Cons: Our sink over flowed in our second room

Cons: Vacation club sales pitch.

Pros: Good food
Cons: staff Darcel rude and very unprofessional
Excellent10.0
Pros: This place is amazing. We felt like royalty once we arrived. Amenities are top notch. Beautiful hotel with stunning views from all rooms. Food was delicious. Staff was friendly. Entertainment staff was awesome. Highly recommended. I would choose this hotel everytime I travel to Cancun.
Cons: There were a few ants in our room but that is probably normal for most places in Mexico. The try to stay on top of it. Wifi was unbelievably slow if not nonexistent. Try getting an international data plan that doesn't screw you on rates.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Great food. Great staff. Great service.
Cons: Nothing!
Excellent10.0
Pros: Liked it everything, how close to the airport, friendly staff, breakfast buffet is so organized with a lot of variety, delicious restaurants to pick from every night and beautiful infinity pool
Excellent10.0
Pros: Loved this hotel. Fantastic staff-very friendly. Would highly recommend!
Excellent9.1
Pros: It is top three resorts in Cancun easily.
Cons: There could be a shuttle service for guests who chose to pay upgrade for butler services in order to not have to use the not so great local taxis which pick you up at the hotel to get you around often with no air conditioner are these taxis.
Mediocre3.1
Pros: Facilities were nice.
Cons: Terrible experience overall. Cracked my tooth on room service food and no one seemed to care. The whole trip was a nightmare.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Loved the Hotel and grounds. Beach was perfect. Service was top notch and attentive to all needs. Had an issue with our room and it was handled in minutes. Food is good and or great. Was there for a weeding with a big group and lots of fun with not a worry in the world.
Excellent9.7
Pros: The resort was modern and everything was very up to date. The restaurants were great across the board. We purchased an preffered room and we were able to access the private pool on the 12th floor which was fantastic. The other pools were fantastic as well...not to be missed for certain. The staff was a lot of fun, very entertaining. Secrets the Vine is fantastic. My wife loved it!
Cons: I really did not like...scratch that...hated the sales pitch upon our arrival. An employee sat down with us to review the resort credits (that we never used BTW) and other details. I paid for the room online well in advance and really did not appreciate the pressure to go have a TWO HOUR breakfast with one of their sales people. I knew what I was buying before I arrived and did not need to be re-sold on the resort when we got there. My only knock on Secrets is the pressure to join their club and pay a high rate so we can visit their resorts on the cheap and our friends and family can go to their resorts for an inexpensive rate as well. Quite frankly, I am in no way shape or form interested in financing the vacations of friends and family. The Secrets club may work for some people but the notion seems utterly ridiculous to me!
Excellent8.8
Pros: This hotel is beautiful! It's very modern, the staff is very friendly, the pools are great and the quality of food is amazing. Concierge were able to help me propose to my girlfriend and made the experience even more special than I expected. It was relaxing and romantic.
Cons: Being in Cancun, you will still experience the party at a minor level. It was a bit distracting and unrelaxing at times to hear clearly from our room the pool activities from the hotel next door till probably 1am on certain days. Also, the worst thing we experienced was the slow room service. No matter what time you would request it, it would take from 50 to 120 mins. I also had an accident with a juice that spilled inside my room, for which I had to wait over 1 hour for the cleaning services to arrive and take care of.
Excellent9.7
Pros: The staff was excellent! Each team member, ranging from the pool staff to housekeeping, to activities were delightful. The property is very nice and our room was especially lovely... Roomy, clean with a great view.
Cons: You have to get up early to reserve your spot at the very crowded pool. It would also be nice if the restaurants took reservations. There is always a wait for the nicer restaurants.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The hotel was beautiful. Everything was so clean. They had excellent customer service. They anticipate your needs and they were Johnny on the spot. The staff was super friendly and very happy.
Cons: Nothing to not like.
Excellent9.4
Pros: Beautiful beach and view, good food at all of the restaurants, clean
Cons: Our last night there our whole room smelled like sewage
Excellent8.5
Pros: The rooms are gorgeous, the view is amazing, the amenities are great for a vacation getaway.
Cons: The food at the restaurants is really bad, plates are extremely small, food is poorly cooked and the service is also pretty bad. It’s a shame because the restaurants all are very nice and the hotel is beautiful.
Excellent8.5
Pros: Great Room junior suite Nice beach Great Staff
Cons: I would think 2x if you're traveling solo. This hotel was couples, families.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Food, beach, hotel, attentive staff.
Cons: The housekeeper stole $100. Not plug friendly in rooms
Excellent9.7
Pros: Everything is top notch.
Cons: Room location was horrible.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Everything was beyond our expectations! AMAZING! A true dream experience! Will 100% recommend to anyone.

Pros: The view and size of the room was very nice.
Cons: The service. Also some policies were not shared with me that became an issue. Didn't feel the warm welcome and quality of service I felt at other places I have stayed in that area. Overall disappointed.

Pros: Everything was great. Awesome staff. Awesome food. Awesome service
Cons: Pool and Beach entrance smells like wet carpet.
Excellent10.0
Pros: I loved staying here. All the staff that worked there were so friendly and nice. They knew our name by the second night. We felt important. The rooms were always clean & housekeeping was always keeping the room looking good and even came back at night to make sure we needed anymore towels or glasses. The waitstaff & bell boys were amazing. Anything we needed they got us it was amazing. I've never stayed in a place that catered to all our wants and needs in a very professional manner.

Pros: The hotel had a fresh clean feel, friendly staff and great food and amenities
Cons: I wish the hotel could’ve accommodated our group of friends and been closers together, because the elevators were sometime slow
Good6.0
Pros: Food was not good , place could use some updates
Excellent10.0
Pros: The perfect hotel - paradise.
Cons: Hotel guests start "reserving" lounge chairs by the pool around 7am by leaving towels there; then they don't come back til much later. This is to be expected I guess, not an issue with the hotel itself. Just good to be aware of before you go.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Very upscale beautiful resort. The best food, prepared elegantly. the nicest and most attentative staff you could ever meet. beautiful beaches and pool area. one of my favorite spots on this planet
Cons: that I couldn't stay longer
Good6.2
Pros: The hotel is suppossed to ve o e of the best in Cancun, but it is a great disapointment
Pros: The pool is amazing and the swing bar and swim up bar are lovely features. The location on the beach is stunning and we never tired of the views across the infinity pool. The spa is very high spec and the therapists good. We would definitely go back and highly recommend Live Aqua Cancun.
Cons: The food was not always to the highest or consistent standard in all the restaurants compared to the luxurious style of the hotel. The pillows are uncomfortable. One of our rooms needed an upgrade in the bathroom.
Okay5.4
Pros: This place would’ve been a solid 3*value with a five star staff but that’ll leave noisy night club next-door ruined it for us
Cons: This place would’ve been a solid 3*value with a five star staff but that’ll leave noisy night club next-door ruined it for us
Good7.1
Pros: Nice grounds, although it looks likes its getting a little older. Staff was great, every single one of them Spa was great.
Cons: The food was bad. I kept on trying to give this place 2nd and 3rd chances to see if they had anything good. But I was constantly disappointed. It was edible, but far from good. The nail in the coffin is when we got a taco from the airport and it was better than all the food we had at this hotel. Room felt a little dirty, shower leaked, shower glass door had someone's name scratched into it.
Excellent10.0
Pros: A great place, I met my kids there for some relaxing togetherness! The staff is friendly, helpful without being pushy. The place is clean, beautiful and laid back. People from all over the world to meet and enough food variety to keep you from getting bored.
Cons: This visit it wasn't too crowded but I've been there in the past where you have to stalk out your place at the pool. We went because we love the place and got a great deal through Kayak I couldn't afford it at regular price. I would love to get notification that Live Aqua wasn't crowded and had a deal going on - I'd be there again in a minute.
Excellent9.1
Pros: The pools are amazing, the grounds well kept and the staff are all friendly.
Cons: The aromatherapy is too strong in some places. Painting going on in the main lobby the day we left - left me with a BIG headache. We had to check out of our room at noon. Planned to grab a quick lunch before leaving but nothing available between 12-1 except room service and a couple of places outside in the 100+ temps.

Pros: Love entertainment staff Ubaldo manager of food and beverages was amazing! Super clean resort Multiple jetted showers the best!
Good6.8
Pros: + Property: Nice landscaping, beautiful beach front, excellent "adult only" pool. Overall it was nicely maintained. Royal tower room was beautiful with a large balcony, huge bathroom, couch/sitting area, and unobstructed view of the ocean. + Staff: Bartenders & wait staff at the adult pool and rooftop bar were awesome. Waiters at all of the restaurants were good. Cleaning/maid staff were excellent and kept our room looking spectacular everyday. The Royal Tower concierge (Gabriela) was very helpful with accommodating a special request we had. + Food: Good variety. Dinner at the Oriental, and breakfast buffet were the best meals we had during our stay.
Cons: - Property: **BEWARE** when booking that this resort goes by "building type" and not "room type." I thought we had booked a room with a King bed but was told there were none available, but we could upgrade to a "Royal Tower Room" with a King for $240 USD. After much frustration and back and forth with person at the front desk, he offered us a "COMPLIMENTARY UPGRADE" to the "Royal Tower Room".......for $50 USD cash he put directly into his pocket. Also -- the 1 and only hot tub was located near the family pool and was filled with young children everyday. There was feces sitting on the steps to the hot tub that were there for at least a half hour before someone pointed them out to maintenance and they were cleaned up; absolutely gross. And if you're looking for late night activities, you'll have to leave the resort because the last bars closed at 100 AM. - Staff: They always seemed to be trying to sell you on something. Beware, the workers in the lobby are not the actual concierge (even though they will tell you they are), they are actually selling timeshare. The real concierge is the opposite direction, near the elevators/banquet hall. Wait staff at the restaurants generally would not refill our water glasses unless we specifically asked them to. - Food: Quality was "OK". There was nothing I would go back for.
Okay5.3
Pros: Location and some services.
Cons: Room is not quite comfortable. Small bathroom, TV didn't work all the time and shower wasn't very good. Hotel is ok but for the price I espected much much more.
Excellent8.5
Pros: Everything was amazing! All the staff were amazing, except check in boy. Restraunts are amazing and great service! Bell boys are super amazing and very friendly. Room service was great and loved how polite they were.
Cons: Checking in was horriable! After traveling 8 hours and having a young man that seemed very irritable and didn't seem he liked his job to much, was a little frustrating. We received nothing paper wise or conversation about things to do or any info about the resort. No towel cards, maps, agenda paper, nothing!! Just a room key. Check out was good. Thank goodness it was a different person. Not really any activities at night though.

Pros: in general everything was ok with the hotel
Cons: I did paid an extra $184 us dollars for my 16 yr old kid. they called a kid under 10 years old
Okay5.7
Pros: Beach and pool were beautiful. We ere only staying one night with very early departure to airport. Couldn't check in early. We're told to come back at 3pm. Room wasn't ready until 4:15. Trapped with our carrying in pool area. Son was told gym cost extra to use.
Excellent9.3
Pros: Great location, not too busy, friendly staff, amazing facilities, beyond comfortable stay
Cons: Decor of rooms could be improved
Excellent8.2
Pros: The room is clean and spacious and it is located right beside the beach. The staff are friendly, but some of the staff cannot speak English very well.
Cons: Weak and slow Wifi throughout the stay and in most parts of the hotel.
Mediocre3.1
Pros: The price was the only thing appealing about this place.
Cons: Trash in the pool, very slow service, poor quality of windows (ratteled all night), and half the building was under construction. Not very vacation friendly for relaxing.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Perfect vocation, the most beautiful hotel with best price, helpful staff, amazing view from rooms and, clean beach with white sand and azur color ocean.
Excellent8.2
Pros: Can choose to go all inclusive starting any day you choose and going to the end of your stay. Great option. Italian restaurant option serves really great food.
Cons: Not being able to check in until 3pm, very frustrating especially when everyone waits until 3 so then there is a line/group to fight at check in. Seems to cause frustration unnecessarily.
Excellent9.1
Pros: The view is really nice, and all the pool sofas provided are nice and clean.
Cons: Food here is not as good as expected. Not much choice and no seafood.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Very bad customer service. Rude reception and manager. Dirty rooms Front door is not sealed after reenovation. Food is very bad. Level of three star hotel. It is not adult only hotel it is bardelle hotel. Stay away from that hotel. There are several adult only hotel which are a lot better.
Excellent8.2
Pros: We love this resort and returned for our 6th time. The resort is full of friendly outgoing people looking to have a great time. As a friend says, "I went to Cuba and sat on loungers beside same couple for a week without exchanging words" That will never happen at TTR. Join Cancuncare.com and meet many before you arrive. Hands down the most fun resort out there.
Cons: For the first time the crowd was younger than normal. Much higher percentage of under 30 crowd this visit. If this trend continues we wont be happy. We like to party with adults not children.
Excellent8.5
Pros: The staff was very friendly and courteous the food was good the entertainment was great.
Cons: The roof was leaking in many places area rugs were used to soak up the spill instead of buckets and a lot of people fell in the lobby including myself.

Pros: The best staff ever!!!
Cons: Price
Excellent10.0
Pros: I liked the fact that this is adults resort only not only that it was a lot of fan every body frankly excellent staff good food I loved the shows and fanny games by the sea pool everybody smiles happy this is my 5th time in temptation and I hope to be back soon and I like when every time I arrive there they tell me welcome home
Cons: Only one think TV channels most of them in Spanish some times I want to go to my room relax for sometime and watch TV but everything in Spanish and most of the guests speak English so please have some English chanels
Excellent9.4
Pros: The service, food and locations was great. You were waited on with care and precision. Just what I needed. Beautiful property and the spa was fantastic!!!!! Alejandro has gifted hands and was the best massage therapist!
Cons: The beach had a smell that was not pleasant at times. Not sure what it was so I stayed in the pool area.
Excellent8.6
Pros: Temptation is an amazing resort made for adults with open and fun minds. The service is great, the food is wonderful and there is always an activity for everyone at all times in a beautiful location.
Cons: having to pay for WiFi
Good6.5
Pros: staff was good a lot of animations...
Cons: NOT FOR SINGLE...Not for single...don't go there if you are not with somebody (wife, girlfriend...)
Okay5.7
Pros: The food was average, I guess because I'm a native and I know traditional mexican food. The staff was AMAZING!! great service. And the beach, wow. The overall vibe was fun, but people there average in they're 40s which was a downer for me, i was lol long for a younger, sexier crowd.
Cons: Guest age average 40-50s. Not so hot looking. Young crowd seekers need to go elsewhere. The hotel itself is OUTDATED. All the pools are COLD. Bad pluming, small rooms, ocean view was really a tiny liltte gap of blue in the corner of our window.

Pros: I took my daughter to Cancun to celebrate her 18th birthday. We stayed at the Royal Beach Club with an ocean view room and balcony. We were given the requested upgrade free of charge. Extremely kind and helpful staff! Clean, simple rooms Comfy beds Gorgeous ocean view from our room. Right next to the hotel is some of the best snorkeling in the area. You can rent gear, or buy it from WalMart for the same price and go on your own. David, who waited on us down by the beach heard it was my daughter's birthday and surprised us on the beach with a cake! Quiet, away from tourist madness.
Cons: Nothing fun to do around the hotel after sunset. Charge for wifi (lobby it is free) Pool closed at 8p.m. No hot tub. No heated pool so no one swims after sunset. Brrrr! No free transportation provided by hotel. Breakfast buffet at Royal Beach Club was very expensive.
Excellent10.0
Pros: love the view and the room decor
Excellent10.0
Pros: If you aren't into the party scene, this hotel is located well away from the main "strip" in Cancun. The food is excellent and the menus offer multiple healthy options. The hotel is also very environmentally friendly. Staff is the friendliest we've encountered. They all work very hard but still take the time to be pleasant.
Cons: A little inconsistent about which restaurants will be open on any given night
Excellent8.0
Pros: Awesome staff no one bothered you. We had problems with our keys they were there changing locks quickly. One evening we walked into our room and received a bottle of wine and fruit and chesse complements of the hotel. The beach was beautiful aqua clean white sand.
Cons: Price of beer but you can buy your own at the store. The only catch is you can't take it to the beach. 25 us dollars is a bit much for a bucket of five.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The breakfast crew at the Royal Beach Club were awesome. They always made sure you started off your day with a smile.
Cons: When it rained, the water leaked into our room through the front door. A bit inconvenient, but the cleaning staff promptly responded by cleaning it up and putting a towel in front of the door.
Excellent9.4
Pros: Beaches
Cons: Breakfast too expensive
Excellent10.0
Pros: The staff serving the beach and in the outside restaurant were very friendly and attentive. We had drinks in several locations and a delicious lunch. The room had a ocean view as well as a view of the pool. Multiple pools and lagoon side pool also very nice.
Cons: Prefer to have wi-fi included in the room and not just free in the lobby.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The concierge was very helpful with providing information for our visit and the staff service was excellent.
Excellent8.0
Pros: The Beach side view was breathtaking. Catered to my husbands gluten free diet. Staff was excellent at every turn!
Cons: Doing maintenance a few rooms away with very smelly glues and chemicals along with noise. Food selection for celiac and vegetarian diets is limited and boring.
Excellent9.1
Pros: We went to cancun for a wedding that was being held at another resort, but we couldn't stay for their 3 day minimum, so we decided to stay at the Westin, and couldn't have been happier! First, we got a great deal on kayak on a non-all inclusive package (because we were going to attend events at the wedding and some of our meals were covered). That being said, the food we did pay for was not all that outrages (ranging from $15-$30/meal per person). In addition, they had a few really great buffets that were around $25/person, and well worth it. Having attended a wedding at a more luxurious resort, we also had the opportunity to compare the two. (One of the wedding guests got food poisoning at the other resort, so we were glad that we didn't stay there). Also, the beach at the Westin was prettier and cleaner! They also had two additional pools, and plenty of rooms to stretch out. In addition, you can book all of your tours from the resort (we did parasailing), but you could do much more! The gym was adequate as well--there were 5 treadmills, a few ellipticals, some exercise bikes, and some weights)
Cons: There was internet in the lobby that was free, but in order for you to get internet in your rooms there was a charge for $25. The gift shop was really expensive.
Excellent8.0
Pros: very close to the airport one of the 1st stops from the airport
Cons: It is really far from the party zone, had to pay $20 taxi each trip from the hotel to the party zone.
Mediocre3.9
No Mexican beers available and they made a horrible margarita!!!! Everything (food and drinks) was super overloaded with sugar. Wait staff was lovely! No Guacamole either. Super far away from any shops or restaurants and the hotel got us a taxi that charged us $22 to take us a mile and a half away. Thumbs down.
Good6.2
Pros: The beach The buffet The public areas
Cons: Poor quality and cleanliness of room Construction across the hall which started at 9am and filled the hallway with dust.

Pros: Sandy, great to swim in beach that's even has a lifeguard. Cozy beds and cool AC in rooms. Great views. Wonderful staff. Tasty buffet breakfast. Free parking. Great location. Overall great place.
Cons: Noise from present renovations and bathrooms near beach/ pool could use more frequent service.
Excellent8.8
Pros: We liked the location and ambiance. Beautiful surroundings and polite, friendly staff.
Cons: IThe food leaves room for improvement. The lobster was gristly ang the items on the breakfast buffet were cold. Additionally, the people that greet you upon arrival appear to be there to welcome and help you, but they just want to sell you a timeshare.
Okay4.0
Pros: breakfast was so goog, the 5-7 also
Cons: The room is so humid, smell not good......we change the room....it was the same problem ouach!!!
Excellent8.8
Pros: I particularly appreciated the excellent English of the front desk staff.
Cons: Internet should be free.
Okay4.8
Pros: Staff of the hotel. The beach and the view
Cons: In normal times, this is probably a good hotel. But at the moment the hotel is undergoing renovations. Lots of workers and dirt around the hotel. Parking is far away. Some of the hotel restaurants are closed. Most of the pools are closed. It is not pleasant to go on holiday in this situation. Wait for the renovations to end. Unfortonetly we didn't know all of this when we did our reservation .
Excellent8.2
Pros: breakfast was worth the money. dinner was a bit pricey for Mexico, but good. Location was excellent.
Cons: receptionist was a bit slow. Wave was a bit rough to enjoy the warm water.
Mediocre3.7
Pros: Beachfront
Cons: No fridge. No complimentary breakfast. No late checkout. Had to clean the coffee maker myself.
Okay5.7
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: This place must be 30 years old. It's in definite need of a refurb. Worn and dirty carpets make the hallways look drab, the stucco and tiles in the guest rooms make the place feel cold and unfriendly. They are refurbishing the lobby, so that's a good start. The food needs a good look at, too, breakfast that was meant to be hot was cold, other items where presented as if they were left from the day before.
Excellent10.0
Pros: They upgraded us to an Ambassador suite. Best sleep of our entire vacation. Loved the beach and the pool. We reveled in the torrential thunder and lightning while enjoying our rack of lamb, pizza and martinis at the BBQ restaurant under the palapa. Service was great too. Nice view from both balconies in our room.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Good food affordable price portions are enough to share. Rooms very clean and spaces ocean view is great. We will be back to this hotel.
Cons: Wifi is not free.
Okay5.7
Pros: Cancun is beautiful and the resort is on a great stretch of beach. Pools, facilities, fitness center were very nice. The concierge was great and gave us a perfect restaurant recommendation off property. Bell staff was very good.
Cons: The food and drink service was awful!!! We were completely ignored at times and had orders for food and beverage completely forgotten. 8 of us sat one evening at the Mexican restaurant on campus for 30 min before we even were given menus, and when they finally delivered them, we were given 4 menus. We laughed as it was just so indicative of the 5 days. The fact that the place is really semi all inclusive seems very petty (some menu items and drinks are extra) Felt as if we were nickled and dimed for everything. First all inclusive we swore we'd not come back to. Very disappointing. Pretty place, hope you're not hungry or thirsty
Excellent10.0
Pros: The resort is beautiful, the staff is fantastic, especially Hector at the front desk, the room is comfortable, AC is great! Gorgeous beach view!
Located in Zona Hotelera, this beachfront resort is in the city centre and within a 15-minute walk of Costa Occidental de Isla Mujeres National Park, El Rey Ruins and Delfines Beach. Aquaworld and Maya Cancun Museum are also within 3 miles (5 km).

Pros: The beach, the pool, the breakfast and dinner buffet. (The food was well above average and quite good at times). Great poolside drink service from Roberto, our waiter on more than one day. Our beach front room was a bit bare (furniture wise) but it was clean and roomy. Cleaning staff did a great job. Bus stop right out front will get you to center of nightlife (about a five minute ride) for under a dollar. It's location away from the center made the beach that much better and less crowded. We had a great stay.
Cons: Time share push after check in. Just insist that you want to go right up to your room and dodge this (they were not aggressive when we did this).
Good6.8
Pros: Convenience of meals which are abundant and available 24/7 Staff are very friendly Great view and location Great kids club and pool - highly recommended if you have kids Convenient taxi service from hotel
Cons: Many dishes were not great; they are acceptable but not something to rave about. Very busy hotel; not for those wanting a quiet getaway Hotel activities are too loud especially in the lobby at night Only two sets of elevators in entire building; not enough for the capacity of guests of building Always long lines at front desk; they need to add more staff during checkout time.
Good7.7
Pros: Easy. Everything was close together. Staff was nice.
Cons: The facilities are dated. Towels were a dingy brown green color. Restaurants were never consistently open. People come to Mexico for Mexican food and the Mexican restaurant was closed most days we were there.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Best Time EVER :) Where to start everything was perfect as soon that we walk in, everyone is super nice and friendly. Rooms where clean and our View priceless, The food was great no one got sick. They had activity everyday at the lobby and the pool activity where so much sun. A SPECIAL thanks to Enrique Felipe and Colorado they would go out of there way to make us feel like home. Also the Bar Tenders where so friendly and they made us a super yummy Sapitos shoots and drinks. We are definitely returning to Royal Solaries . :) out next stay to Royal Solaris will be in Cabo San Lucas,
Okay4.0
Pros: Royal Solaris is a fairly inexpensive all inclusive with decent sea views. Multiple choices in places to eat. Some of the wait staff actually made an effort to make our honeymoon enjoyable. A waiter by the name of Mibsam was the friendliest individual on staff by far. The members working the front desk were always very helpful as well.
Cons: I've stayed at two other resorts in Cancun and a third in Cozumel. All of which were competively priced with this one and offered equivalent all inclusive packages. All had nicer rooms, higher quality finishes to give a luxury feel, and professional staff. 1. The Rooms The first room my wife and I experienced was less than ideal. The ceiling was so short we both could reach up and touch the ceiling. All bathrooms lacked ventilation so mold and paint bubbling should be expected. The first room's bathroom had a curious layout with lights hanging out of the socket. It was fixed shortly thereafter, but if I had kids I would not have accepted the room. Exposed electrical surfaces in a wet space with no ventilation is a disaster waiting to happen. We payed to upgrade our room to the jacuzzi room which looked much more like a normal hotel room. The bathroom still didn't have any ventilation. in addition, the tile work wasn't very impressive. The finishes looked very sloppy and didn't seem to have a luxury feel. Get what you pay for... 2. Staff aforementioned are the staff that were very helpful and good at their jobs. What I was concerned about is that very few people were concerned about making our honeymoon special. Bartenders were always very nice, maybe a little too nice.. There were numerous spring breakers and Its always okay to let lose. There needs to be more discretion as to when to cut somebody off. Every day there was someone being wheelchaired out. Alcohol poisoning got pretty serious for some of these guys and could have easily been taken care of. ive spent spring break with my buddies before down in a different resort and not only were the rooms and facilities much nicer, the staff were willing to look out for you and help you out.... They were so far gone they couldn't tell the difference between water and tequila. much of the staff seemed to be more concerned about helping/ serving the spring breakers over the families. numerous families found it difficult to sleep at night with spring breakers coming around at night being extremely boisterous. I woke up every night from the noise. Solution that other resorts use... Escort them back to their rooms. 3. Restuarants Always had decent food. Also had plenty of seating with nice views of the sea. However, half the time the waiter would forget our drinks or take a long time to get our drinks. One day I finished my entire meal before getting our drinks. in this case it really depends on your waiter. There are some really good ones and some that don't seem to care.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The staff was good the lady manager Ava was very good too
Cons: They need to include the Internet
Excellent8.2
Pros: Friendly Staff, great entertainment team, great night theatre shows, good pool, my son liked the mini kids club spending almost the whole day there. Beach and weather was awesome
Cons: Beds were uncomfortable at all unfortunately. Food at the main restaurant was repetitive and a bit low quality. Nonalcoholic drinks were low quality and no fresh juices or cocktails.
Excellent9.1
Pros: The hotel staff were the best of numerous resorts we have stayed at. Very helpful, pleasant and professional. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The beach was clean and well groomed. The pools were beautiful. The best lunch was the pizza oven, serving up made to order pizzas!
Cons: It is a bit dated in the lobby. The food is what I would consider average. If I book another all-inclusive in Cancun , I would look elsewhere because of the food. We usually go for more than a week and I don't think we would enjoy the dining experience here for that long.
Okay5.4
Cons: I could hear everything going on in the next room. The rooms smelled very strong perfume odor. The woman at the front desk was rude. Not the best customer service but, ok for the price.
Excellent8.2
Pros: The staff was excellent! They were all very professional, kind, and courteous. Our room was very clean, the food was tasty.
Cons: I hated the fact that Internet was $17 U.S. Dollars for 24 hours! It was supposed to be free! Everyone everywhere wanted/asked for tips.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The food was excellent. My favorite part was the pool and the swim up bar. They have water volleyball and water basketball. There is always some sort of game going on at the pool area. The staff was wonderful. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day. Easy bus ride to the night clubs for 50 cents. All in all I felt that this was the perfect resort for a group of friends (we are in our mid 20s), couples, or families.
Cons: The buffet could have more variety each day.
Excellent9.4
Pros: First the food was excellent the service was extraordinary as they great you since you enter the hotel, staff was amazing and the pools and kids club was awesome! Super safe for family with children. Bartenders are knowledgable of drinks and very friendly.. The reataurant was very delicious with the 5 course meals. We felt right at home!! I would definitely stay At The Grand Solaris! Thumbs up for food ,cleanliness, staff, and overall the atmosphere was great oh and to add the shows were wonderful!! I miss being there my kids loved it!!! If you want to have a great and relaxing time, to make wonderful memories and enjoy the beautiful beaches and views go to The Grans Solaris! We truly had la passion del Solaris!!(:
Cons: The only thing was they need to add toilet covers around the resorts restrooms, pillows a bit hard.
Excellent10.0
Pros: They upgraded us to the Caribe they own next door, we had a ocean view, quieter pool than royal Solaris, some meals were very Good others were just ok, resort beautiful and well kept, staff very attentive, even more so when you tipped them, everyone very friendly, if I went again I would stay at the caribe again. W made lots of friends with the staff and some other travelers. The resort had all types of people including families. Also important we could get a chair on beach or at the pool.
Cons: The food sometimes was just ok, but that happens when you have buffets.
Excellent10.0
Pros: I haven’t been to many all inclusive but this one was awesome. And the staff was extremely friendly and the place was super clean!
Cons: The sea gulls were a bit annoying. That’s all I can really find at the moment, the place was perfect.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Resort was great, friendly staff and great food
Cons: The only negative was that our room location was sometimes a little noisy at night
Good6.0
Pros: The food was good and varied daily
Cons: They need to give more food options and make some balconies so it can be standard. It’s kind of weird to not be able to let you swim wear dry outside
Excellent10.0
Pros: Breakfast was amazing, staff are very polite

Pros: Overall resort Staff, dining and staff, ability was clean, bar and staff, valet parking and staff. Buffet food was presented well, fresh and plentiful.
Cons: Room service cart is too noisy in the hallways during the nighttime hours. Dining chairs in St Trop need a good overhaul, many are needing new seat section due to tearing. A tour of the facility at check in would go a long way. Show the five restaurants, spa, st trop, bar two area, sixth floor bar to advanced members and even the lower level bar and dance area.
Good6.0
Cons: Front desk staff is really rude. They want to pinch pennies and charge for things like extra keys. I've never experienced that at a luxury hotel. Also the food quality went down now that it's al inclusive. It's unfortunate this place really used to be luxury. Now it feels like a chuckee cheese.
Good6.8
Pros: -Food was good -Staff incredibly welcoming and friendly, especially pool staff -Spa and massage treatments; well worth the money
Cons: -Not enough umbrellas on beach -Tiered system by pool; no cabanas for non "exclusive members" -Dining room 'dress code;' no sleeveless for men, but for women it was acceptable. Weird. -At times, cheap liquor unless expressly asked for better quality alcohol -AC in room did not work that well

Pros: EXCELLENT FOOD, DRINKS AND SERVICE (IN ROYAL SERVICE)
Cons: IF YOU DONT PAY FOR ROYAL SERVICE IS JUST ANOTHER AVERAGE ALL INCLUSIVE. THEY TOOK A LONG TIME TO CLEAN THE ROOM (ALWAYS AFETER 4 PM)

Pros: Even with the hotel at full capacity, I received the very best service.
Cons: The royal service
Excellent10.0
Pros: Service and food was amazing!
Cons: Maybe the check in time can be shorter
Okay4.8
Pros: Few staff members were very nice
Cons: I stayed in this hotel few years ago and it was amazing, food, service, rooms, etc. but now it has become a very cheap hotel even the price is very high. The food might look nice and good but it absolutely horrible. If you are used to have good stuff, beware. Time share staff is a nightmare! I know they want to make business but they are crossing the line. Thia time they tricked my parents saying that some lady would nicely take them to their room when they arrived, no she took them to this desk where she spent one hour trying to convince them about time ahare,,, really??? We never complain but this time at check out we explained what we didnt like (food, time share, etc) and this staff member just said "oh, sorry. I will write that down" yeah right!! Also beware: there are 5 different pyramids and the pics that they have online it's only from the renovated rooms. Of course not all of them are renovated and we got stucked in this totally '80's room. Clean but decor is not what thw showed in the website. We pickes this hotel since my parents have been there at least 7 times, we regret to inform that this is the last time! So so so dissapointing. It all depends on what you are used to, that's all.
Good6.2
Pros: hospitality
Cons: too many kids food not that great
Good6.0
Pros: Accommodations, things to do near, dinners, quiet, plenty of beach and chairs.
Cons: Buffets and general access to food, check in we had to haggle for over an hour to get what was promised to us at booking, the concierge messed up a catamaran booking for us, accommodations were dated and just okay.
Excellent8.0
Pros: This was a wonderful all inclusive resort with beautiful beachfront property! We enjoyed our stay although rooms are a little small and slightly dated. Need a few more beach chairs as well. Overall, a spot we will return to!
Okay4.8
Pros: The beach was ok
Cons: The $150 a night up sell to get a kind size bed when I though I had paid for one. That was supposed to have a butler but didn't The restaurants close too early . People trying to sell me a time share. The excessive incense and aromatherapy in building 5 barf.
Excellent9.4
Pros: Gorgeous location & excellent vacation all-around! I would def recommend this hotel!!! Our family of 6 + a baby was hands-down pampered and spoiled by the staff! Shout out to David at Coco’s for making our stay incredible!
Cons: The hotel had events and activities but were not well-advertised. The kids/teen programs were not well-known. Other hotels post the activities daily. The Paradisus could do better in this area.

Pros: The rooms were beautiful, well-stocked, clean and comfortable. We had a suite with 2 ocean view balconies, a jacuzzi in the bedroom, walk-in closet. It was big and felt luxurious which we enjoyed. The property was clean and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
Cons: The resort is HUGE! We were only there for 4 days and it felt overwhelming to make decisions about where to eat, what to do, etc. It took us a day to orient ourselves because we didn't receive a good orientation to the property when we checked in (they were only interested in getting us to the sales pitch breakfast). The restaurants lacked ambiance and I felt like I was in a Vegas casino in the lobbies. It was also so busy and there were so many people everywhere that I never felt like I was fully relaxed. I spent most of the time on the beach so I wouldn't have to listen to the loud music and games being played by the pools. The sand was white and soft, but the water was covered in seaweed so it wasn't great for swimming. The food was ok, but nothing to write home about. This might be a good choice if you were planning an extended stay, but even if I were going on a longer trip I would not stay here again. I was with a group of friends so it didn't stop us from having a great time (the all-inclusive alcohol helped!) but the resort was not a highlight of the trip.
Excellent9.7
Pros: This resort goes a ones and beyond for all if their guests to be having a good time. From children, teenagers, to adults this resort goes above and beyond like I have never seen before. There's always something for everyone. The pools are beautiful with ample amounts to sit. The restaurants are all very good (make reservations at the golf coarse restaurants... We loves the Italian one so much we did it two nights). The entertainment is comparable to that of Las Vegas. The rooms are spacious and cleaned to perfection daily. The landscaping is beautiful. Again, if you are not havingn a good time here then there is something wrong with you. This place was a true paradise with top notch service. I really thought I was in heaven and will most definitely be back next year!

Cons: Internet was not included.
Excellent10.0
Pros: My 5 night stay was very pleasant. The beach is beautiful. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. It’s located in a very good area, not too far from club life/shopping. I did visit both, the lobby bar and the bleach bar, but I will say the beach bar is my favorite. You get to enjoys drinks with a beautiful view of the ocean. I did not try out the Mexican or Italian restaurant. The regular buffet has really good food. The rooms are great, with your fridge being refilled everyday and your room being cleaned everyday. The shows at night are great. My room had ocean view had pool and ocean view which was beautiful. The beach is super clean compared to another resort I visited for a wedding. I loved this place and definitely would recommend.
Cons: The only thing I did not like was the elevator, it was really small and no AC so I felt like I was suffocating.

Pros: All inclusive for a 1/3rd of others, friendly staff, quality food, proxy to ferry to the Islam, great running path (not a sidewalk) passes the hotel,

Pros: Food is upper tier for traditional All-Inclusive Facilities are clean The staff are friendly
Cons: Smokers outside are on the way in and out of the lobby with the smoke drifting inside Noisy AC and the walls are thin (you will hear your neighbours Inconsistent service and really slow in the restaurants The beach is very plain and there is nothing to see for snorkelling
Nestled on the beach, this Zona Hotelera resort is within a 10-minute walk of Delfines Beach and El Rey Ruins. Aquaworld and Maya Cancun Museum are also within 3 miles (5 km).

Pros: Food was ok. The French restaurant was very good. Their onion soup was superb.
Cons: For a resort that advertises that gratuities and taxes are included in the price the staff seem to only want to serve you if they know you would give tip. Very rude reception staff. They were very unapologetic when we were complaining about dangerous paint fumes seeping in from the lower room. My spouse felt dizzy and almost fainted after a few seconds in the room. The reception staff had an annoyed face and replied “so what do you want us to do”
Mediocre3.7
Pros: We didn't like much but try to make the best of it since we already there
Cons: The buffer was terrible and the noises was so bad you can hear every noise around you and the music from some night club is so loud from 10pm to 2am and our room was all the way at the end and house keeping would clean room but don't leave is with any towels had to call house keeping 2 times after 1 hour they bring the towels . We been coming to Cancun for the last 6 years and this have to be the worse resort. Spend a little more money and stay at Better resorts definitely not coming back
Okay4.0
Pros: + Location + Beach
Cons: - Slow in check in process (and lobby witout AC, its a sauna) - Only 3 elevators for the whole hotel and one was broken. And again, a its a sauna. We had to take the stairs many times and what you see and smell in there is something you won't like to know or remember. - Facilities are old and require a big maintainance and or refubrish - Buffet food is really bad, horrible I would say and again buffet facility with no AC and is a sauna. - Pools were always overcrowded, not a place you want to be and/or relax - Slow service in bars. - Room service is available but with a extra charge. - Minibar with little options, two beers and water. - Definetly, it is not a 5 stars hotel, I would barely say it is a 3 stars hotel.
Good6.8
Pros: Staff were great, a la carte restaurants were awesome and the beach was amazing. Staff in the buffett, a la cartes and beach bar specifically were great.
Cons: Beds weren't the most comfortable but not a big issue. Lots of great staff but a lot of bars were understaffed making for long lines. Elevators were continuously down for maintenance and were very slow.
Good6.5
Pros: Staff are very friendly and speak English and Spanish- very helpful and sweet staff! Beautiful beach and rooms are simple but clean.
Cons: Cheap food, watered down cheap drinks and too "touristy". I felt like I wasn't really in Mexico. Couldn't wait to get back to Texas for some real Mex food. People CONSTANTLY trying to sell you time shares, stuff, souvenirs. It was a beat down.
Excellent8.8
Pros: The service was amazing. We went during one of the busiest times of year and still did not wait long for anything. We really liked the adult pool and the service there. I have been to 3 all inclusives at about this cost and thought the buffet was better than the others. The other restaurants were good, not great. Loved the bread and salad at the Italian restaurant and liked the food at the Mexican and French restaurants best
Cons: Music at the adult pool and adult bar were not good and heard a lot of complaints. The restrooms downstairs from the adult pool smelled really bad. They seem to do a wonderful job with families and activities for children. Since we went with a group of families this worked out well and everyone was happy. Making reservations was sometimes difficult. Did not care for Wayne's Boots steak but the bull was fun.
Good7.4
Pros: It is great for those families traveling with kids. They have at least 4 swimming pools, plus a dedicated kids swimming/playing area with slides and other activities. Kids loved it. The food was also pretty good, even though it is an all inclusive and taking into account the quantity of food they have to prepare.
Cons: The hotel shows its age (about 30 years old). Starting with the lobby and the receptionist desk, you can tell on the walls and ceiling that it has had its damages and repairs. The staff was okay, but I've dealt with nicer staff at other hotels. There is a hotel next door, which was hit by a big hurricane 10 years ago and never got fixed, so depending on who you are and what type of person you are, this could be an eye sore.
Located in Zona Hotelera, this beachfront resort is connected to the convention centre and within 3 mi (5 km) of La Isla Shopping Mall and Cancun Interactive Aquarium. Punta Sur and Aquaworld are also within 6 mi (10 km).

Pros: The staff at the Krystal Cancun were fantastic. Very friendly, and helpful, willing to give advice on good local (not touristy) places to eat and visit. Great, easy self parking. The room we had was right on the beach, with a fantastic view of the ocean. The music at the bar was fantastic. Salsa, cha cha cha, boogaloo. Great bar service and good drinks. Awesome location in the hotel zone. The beach was clean and beautiful, located in a very calm water area. We enjoyed a perfect first night in Cancun at this hotel.
Cons: Our room was great, first floor, right on the beach. This posed a problem later on in the evening. There was a wedding right outside of our room on the beach, and the music from the reception was quite loud into the evening. We didn't mind this too much as we were very exhausted from traveling that evening and were able to fall asleep quickly, but for some, this may be a pain point. The bed in our room was also quite uncomfortable. Very firm, sort of like sleeping on a box spring only. The hot tub was being repaired and was not working when we arrived in the evening. The staff runs really slow with the check in/check out process. Be prepared to wait a while when you are arriving and leaving the hotel. There is only one main entrance to the hotel, so we had to walk quite a ways from where we parked our car to our room inside the hotel. We really didn't mind this, but again, it may be a pain point for some, that no one offered to help us with our bags. The pool area closed around 10:00 at night, but you can walk up and down the beach in the evenings. The bathroom in our room was dark, damp, and there was mold growing in corners in the shower. It was in much need of a thorough cleaning. Overall we had a good first night in Cancun at this hotel. Its location on the beach made up for our dislikes.
Excellent8.0
Pros: Beach
Cons: Slow elevators.. not enough staff to take orders on the beach. Shouldn’t charge for coffee in the room.
Excellent9.4
Pros: The view was AMAZING!! the staff was very pleasant as well and had no issues when requesting a different room.
Cons: The noise due to the club next door, but I did visit during spring break so it might be louder then.
Okay4.0
Pros: Right on beach!
Cons: Very very old dated room! I should have know while standing at the desk listening to all the complaints of other guests that this was a poor place to stay!
Good7.4
Pros: We loved the beach of the Krystal. The beach front view was absolutely amazing. Each afternoon my friend and myself would lay out on the beach, and every day there were men with delicious coconut drinks who would sell them to us for very good prices. We definitely enjoyed that. The pools were also beautifully designed and were perfect with the beach front view.
Cons: We didn't like the staff who were extremely rude on the phone and claimed that my friend and myself were liars. They called the room claiming that me and my friend were random girls that our friends had snuck into their room, when in reality we are all friends and had planned the trip together. They did not need to threaten to kick us out. My friend and myself had wrist bands to be at the resort. That was completely uncalled for.
Okay4.0
Pros: The beachfront was beautiful. Housekeeping personnel was hard working and kind.
Cons: Had to change room because of wifi issue. No help given. Showe was broken. Walls very thin.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Location, Location, Location! Loved the waterfront, the view, the service. Hugo, our bartender was friendly & made the tastiest mojito! I would recommend Krystal to fam & friends. Thumbs up!!!!
Good6.5
Pros: The beach was beautiful and easy access to it. The hotel cost was actually pretty cheap.
Cons: The hotel is outdated, the shower was broken. I paid for two beds and only got one bad they didn't have another room.
Good6.0
Cons: Shower is not working. Mirror is dirty, tissue holder has rust and not safe if it cut off your skin, resort must also work on its furnitures because the location is great but furnitures are old. Hallway must have carpet so whenever other guests are asleep it wouldn't bother them when someone is walking from the hallway especially kids who is running and playing around.
Excellent8.8
Pros: Beach, pool, good location and helpful staff, very recommended
Cons: I did like everything, nothing to say about, everything’s amazing
Excellent8.0
Pros: The location was very convenient! 5 minute walk to a market and the clubs and restaurants are just steps away!
Cons: We paid for an ocean view room and we got something in the 1st floor and when you look out your window all you see are cabanas and people. Luckily we brought it up to their attention and they gave us something better BUT not until the next day. In my opinion, the rooms on the bottom floor, although technically facing the ocean, shouldnt be given to guest as "oceanview" seeing as you CANT see the ocean.
Located in Zona Hotelera, this beachfront resort is next to a golf course and within a 15-minute walk of Langosta Beach and Tortuga Beach. Cancun Golf Club at Pok Ta Pok and Turtle Beach are also within 2 miles (3 km).

Pros: Great hotel, great location, great stay. Amazing staff.
Cons: The staff at the front desk scheduled us a shuttle knowing our flight departure times and we ended up not being able to board our plane because we were too late. We ended up waiting 5 hours in the airport and each had to pay $200 us dollars to get a new flight. It was our first time flying internationally and we pretty much relied on the advise the hotel staff gaved us.

Pros: The food was OK for being a buffet and regarding the quantity of guests
