The Grand Hotel Minerva is in an excellent position for touring in Florence. Close to the Duomo, shops and restaurants. For the price charged over a weekend, breakfast should have been included.
Breakfast was included No extra charges, service charge and taxes -a true plus Construction in front of the hotel
Location and good mountain view from suite. Great breakfast. Not particularly clean and the folding beds in the suite not comfortable. Staff were professional but not particularly engaging however.
Fabulous location and very pleasant staff. Would return any time.
The beds were very comfortable with wonderful linen. The room was spacious and clean. There was a strange smell outside the hotel.
Location, quality, service, rooms
Great location, great pool, great bar, great breakfast. Rooms were not sound proofed and we could hear quiet music next door and everything in the hallway. The beds also rolled far too easily and we're constantly shifting
central location, excellent pool area, very good breakfast, nice staff jacuzzi in bath didn't work; no shower curtain, so bathroom got flooded when we had showers; piazza outside is being refurbished, so it is a bit run down at present
Convenient location, helpful staff. Good roof pool area with nice view. Room smaller than expected (for a superior double). Work was also taking place in the square meaning the church was covered in tarpaulin and some access roads were closed making it awkward to drive to - also car valet parking service was expensive and we didn't know where vehicle was stored.
Good location in relatively quiet piazza, easy walking distance to main sights in Florence. Also close to train and bus station for excursions.
Ideally located, within walking distance from the various places of interest, including cathedrals, shopping district, dinning, bus & train terminals.
the pool was vert useful as it was so warm. there was a building site outside the hotel which we did not know about it.
Location and interior of the hotel lobby and rooms. Internet connection available (for a fee). Room felt outdated - maybe as in all old 4/5-star hotels in Italy.
Centrally located, easy to walk all over the downtown area. The employees were very friendly and helpful, and the view from the restaurant during breakfast was outstanding!
Very nice hotel . Old but when you walk in a room looks totally different . White tiles in bathrooms and all very clean and good quality with and charm . Beds a little hard but dig. Great quite rooms looking over inside gurden. Restaurant overlooking all Florance at breakfast and also for dinner with many outside tables . Stuff very friendly and helpful , concierge knows their stuff , ask for their suggesting if you need to travel around. Everything
A world-class hotel. Staff excude hospitality, the hotel is grand in its design. Rooms have a 19th century ambience, and 21st century appliances. In its excellent location, the hotel leaves nothing to ask for. I would not have minded a simple plastic comb as part of the bathroom accessories.
It is close to railroad station and downtown. Staff are proffessional and rooms are clean. We used two rooms. Very nice hotel. None
The beds were extremely hard.
The hotel is right in front of the train station and in walking didtance of the shopping and sites. Staff very friendly and nice The rooms are quite old and kind of a musty smell
I have been travelling in Italy for 2 months and this hotel is the best. The position is perfect, the view sensational. Rooms comfy and spotlessly clean. Staff friendly and efficient and are smiling which is rare in customer service in Italy. The restaurant has a wonderful view of Florence, the ambiance and service from the staff are great. A very comfortable and ejoyable stay..10 from me
The location cannot be beat. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was awesome. And the staff were friendly. The only drawback was that the walls are too thin and you can hear a lot of what goes on in the room next door.
I was t Baglioni Hotel for the Florence marathon. I have apprreciated everything, the location, distance to the train station and to the city center (Piazza del Duomo is only 5min walking). Breakfast, very good selection of food, is at the 5th floor with amazing view of the Duomo and Giotto campanile. Staff was gentle and helpul and let me use the room until 2pm (after the race) without charging the extra time (usual check out is 12). great stay, Thank you
The rooftop garden restaraunt panoramic view is breathe taking! the food was delicious pricey but well worth every bite. The service was very classy, polite, attentive and friendly the staff made me and my two daughters feel very special. The waiter brought my daughter a shawl when he saw that she was cold and offered us one as well. Our room had a window with a view for people watching, the maid kept our room very clean, every evening when we arrived back from a long day our beds would be turned down waiting for us. The location of the hotel was perfect every thing in walking distance. Doormen and bell hops very friendly and courtesy. The gentleman that checked us in was friendly and welcoming and accommodate us with a bigger room when we revealed to him that our room was too small for 3 girls. We were hoping to see him again next day to thank him but we never saw him again. The breakfast is wonderful and delicious! Lots of food even at 945! i love the historical story of the hotel and old pictures of the hotel in the past. The antique furniture, history, and decor can only be appreciated by historical buffs. A historical beauty! Some of the front desk staff were snooty and not very welcoming. The first gentleman we met was friendly we saw him only once out of the six days we were there. When I did ask questions front desk staff very short and make you feel like you are troubling them. The first room #145 was way to small for a mom and two teenage girls. I had adapters for my phone and the only one it would fit in was the bathroom. The Internet is very weak (which I knew coming in seems to be # 1 complaint). When you first walk thru revolving doors there is a woman sitting at a table not sure if she is with hotel however she is not very welcoming she is first person you see and she does not smile or say hello she does not make eye contact she is setting the tone and it is not good, smile say Bon Journo!
The hotel is situated in a good shopping and sight-seeing district and is very beautiful. The floors in the room were beautiful but very slippery.
Great staff, great location, free assortment of amazing foods during happy hour 6-8pm...... Highly Recommended
The hotel was located right beside all the sightseeing and shopping. The rooms were extremely clean and the breakfast was excellent.
The concierge/front staff, where absolutely fantastic. Helpful and with a smile. Reviews completed on booking.com indicated cold reception/assistance by front staff. Our experience was actually very different, perhaps because we could speak a bit of Italian. Overall fantastic front desk, helpful in every way. Great location of the hotel and very tranquil considering it's situated in such a central and great location. Hotel rooms are small however this is not unusual for hotels within any european city. The senior staff for the breakfast service was very efficient, however quite cold and impatient. The service was of great standard.
Excellent location, close to everything. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice bathroom. Nice selection of breakfast with tasty pastry and fresh fruit. Internet access is outdated - a computer in the lobby or wired in the room, both charged and quite expensive.
the wonderful lounge area...very welcoming/friendly staff all around..Comfortable rooms and a great location....great experience
very beautiful hotel, wonderful location the prices are a little bit high!!!
Value for money, a bit anonymous, ok breakfast buffé, good service. The hotel only has wifi in the lobby and they charge for it which is not up to date i terms of hotel standard 2010.
Went on a romantic getaway with my fiance and this place was exactly what we were looking for. The location is outstanding, price amazing considering what we got. Staff was so, so accommodating. Loved the hotel bar, the bartender was amazing. They have happy hour every night too, and it was great fun. The bar didn't have computers, so i felt like the bartender got bogged down in paperwork when he could have been mingling with customers.
Good central location in city, Friendly and efficient staff, Comfortable and clean room.
Good wifi, safe location near good restaurants, helpful staff AC was adequate Power in the room that required key card was finicky and turned off automatically many times
I stayed for just one night there are no special comments, but the cleanless of the hotel, location and the information on website is in line with the quality of the rooms.
Nice place, Perfect staff
Situation is ideal. Breakfast tasty but very badly organised.
The location was in the heart of Florence. The bathroom was small and got crowded when getting ready to go out in the morning.
Excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Superb central location.
Location! Couldn't be a better spot in Florence.
Excellent location. Great views. Worth paying a little extra for an upgraded spacious room.
location no view. room too small
Central location ideal for a short stay - you can walk to see most sights n/a
Best location in the centre of Florence. Literally 2 minutes from Piazza delle Signorie, the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Republica. Coin department store is next door and La Reniscente one block away. Mattress too soft.
That it was in the heart of the city
The position of the hotel is excellent, you can go out shopping, sightseeing and come back drop things off and go out again.
This hotel is amazing! The location is perfect, as it is only a couple of minutes walk to the Duomo. The staff were super friendly. Our room and bathroom was clean and very modern (i.e. glass showers). The breakfast included a huge variety of foods (bacon, eggs etc) and there is a rooftop terrasse where you can eat breakfast or share a bottle of wine watching the sunset with an amazing view of Florence!! I definitely recommend this hotel!
Great location. Very attentive staff. Good breakfast. Great view from the roof. Noise in the streets at night
Good location, nice rooms, friendly service bad sound proofing
The room was good (although no view) The hotel lacked services which I would have expected from a hotel charging this much (eg room service).
I am well travelled and I will honestly say that your hotel staff was one of the best! They were all so friendly and helpful. I stayed one night, then returned on my flight out because the service was that good. I'll definitely be back and would recommend your fabulous place! My first room only had 1 outlet in the bathroom.
The staff was excellent and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and the location excellent! Definitely recommended!
The Staff were very helpful. The restaurent was very good. .Our initial room was not up to the standard we expected, we were given a choice of two others. The one we chose did not have proper shower facilities. The coffee/tea supplies were not well maintained on a daily basis. It would have been nice to have tea/coffee service in the lounge area.
The reception staff The room it self
Convenience to the tourist areas in Florence Access to wireless internet was only from the lobby area
We loved our stay at the Cavour. The location made it so easy to get to all the sights and we enjoyed having a drink watching the sun go down from the rooftop. The junior suite was ample room for the kids and us and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely will be staying here again.
Great locations, very good staff. Weak Internet signal (53%), which the Hotel believes is normal.
Clean and comfortable, Bar closed at 10pm and on one day it didn't open due to staff illness, whilst other staff seemed available but doing nothing.
the location was good and the design of the hotel was fantastic The big problem which would make me not stay here again was the noise from the street below - i couldnt get to sleep at all and the noise when on till well after 4am - I reccomend that the hotel use double glazing so when people stay in the hotel they dont have to sleep on the bathroom floor so they shut the noise out - or supply earplugs.
We enjoyed the beautiful building and the location. I am sorry to say, but the staff was very unhelpful and very unfriendly. We stayed at a hotel in Rome called the Suite Hotel near the Piazza de Republico and had a wonderful experience. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Your staff coud learn from this staff on the proper way to take care of guests.
Good location, room quiet, arty and quirky design, staff friendly, breakfast very good. Air conditioning did not work for three days, after repeated requests an engineer fixed the problem.Asked for a discount, they took the price of a bottle of water off the bill - 1 Euro ! Garage next door extremely pricey,no off street parking, suggest a cab or walk to the hotel.
Excellent breakfast A private function was held in the bar/reception area which meant hotel guests could not sit or have a drink that evening. We had to show our room passes to gain entry into the hotel.
Location is good. Close to Duomo, only few minutes walk away. we stayed in a room with my kids (4 people total) where we had enough space for each. Large room, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, clean and quiet. Only breakfast is not enough. Price is little bit high buy all hotels in Florence are expensive though.
Spacious and Comforable bedrooms and excellent lobby spaces. Comfortable Air Conditioning
The location was great. It was quiet and the room was big by most standards, but by Florentine standards, it was fabulous (205) The staff were thin on tha ground badly organised, I struggled to get more than 4 hangers in the wardrobe! Is the little things that make a big difference because they should be in place.
This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. It is centrally situated to see all the key museums in Florence. The staff were very very helpful and always had a smile whatever the request. No
Very classy. Staff was extremely helpful. Locations was perfect. nothing! everything was great. If there is anything that might be chnaged a little is that the breakfast staff could be a bit more attnetive. This is a suggestion not a complaint.
The location is fantastic. The breakfast is very good: nice staff, quick service and good food. Some bathroom amenities were missing (empty boxes on arrival and never replaced), there was not a single free socket to plug in the computer. All in all the room felt like an OK 3-star rather than 4.
We enjoyed the Hotel Berchielli very much. It was located right on the Arno. We literally opened our windows and could see the Ponte Veicchio Bridge. The location was fabulous. We were close to the Uffize Gallerie and the Duomo. The hotel was a little on the older side, which gave it some european charm. However, the bathrooms had recently been renovated and were modern and clean. During my stay I left behind a shawl I had purchased. We called the hotel figuring it was long gone and the hotel had it for me. We were impressed with the honesty of the staff. The hotel also provided a full breakfast buffet on their second floor dining room. Just around the corner from the hotel is the stop to catch the tour bus of the city. Try to take a day trip to Tuscany if you have the time it was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again. One last tip... remember to close the shutters on your window while in Italy it will reduce the noise level.
The location was excellent, the room was clean, and the staff was great. Breakfast was also superb. The rooms were a bit outdated.
Florence is such a beautiful city with so much to see and do. Hotel Berchielli is a beautiful hotel, in a perfect location, with a wonderful helpful staff - a very nice place to come back to and relax after a day oftouring.
It is my fourth stay. The location of the hotel could not be bettered. The room standard is excellent for comfort. Nothing comes to mind.
We were a short walk for the sites of Florence from Ponte Vecchio to the Uffizi Museum! Restaurants and cafes were plentiful and the staff was extremely helpful.
The staff are delightful and the setting is superb. The bathroom was dated and could do with being replaced sooner rather than later.
hospitality of the hotel staff...
The location plus how clean the room and bathroom.
I liked the location. The hotel is beautiful and the people who work there are friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and had all I needed for the night I stayed there. The taxi for the airport was there in 3 minutes. Probably my review should say excellent rather than good. The drain in the shower was slow. I forgot to mention that to the front desk employees. I'm sure they would have fixed that if I had let them know.
excellent position. Spacious room. friendly but efficient staff no
The luxury comfort and the old world charm overlooking the river. Very romantic with good shopping and great resturants Leaving the hotel
Exceptional interior and very friendly people...when present No breakfast available. Another couple looked for a taxi but at 9AM there was nobody at reception who could help them. No phones working but on the way to fix I believe.
the room was fantastic!!!!
The hotel was in a great location and the staff were really helpful and recommended some lovely restaurants. The rooms were beautiful, we couldn't have asked for a better hotel and so really reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and clean. Excellent location with a walking distance to major sites, shopping area and good restaurants. Staff available from 8 am till 8 pm only, which is kind of annoying if you need anything outside these hours. All was very good other than that.
Great hotel, the room was fantastic, enormous, with beatiful paints in the ceiling. The personal was very kind and warm. Near the principal atractions and museums. Great experience. Troble parking
Everything! Very large, clean charming room. The vaulted ceilings (even in the standard rooms) have beautiful "frescos" which only add to the charm. Unlike most hotels, the reality is better than the images on the web. The extensive artwork in the lobby is a lovely touch. It is not on a major street, making it quiet and comfortable as well as easy access for the taxi dropping us off on arrival. The location is a bit out of the way if you consider a 5 minute walk to the Duomo to be far. Extremely helpful staff - we couldn't have asked for more. Enrico even booked all our museums ahead of time and our train tickets for us. He went out of his way to ensure we had a great stay. This is definitely a hidden gem and great value for the money. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Florence. nothing
The original art on the walls and the kitchenette unit. Very noisy as the rooms are on street level.
big decorated rooms with unusual furnitureand authentic design.very close to the main square and 15 minutes walk from railway station.
Excellent hotel wtih beautiful rooms and a great location. Some great neighbourhood restaurants recommended by the very friendly and helpful staff
Outstanding!!! I would go back for sure.
Good position, Nice hotel, Fair price, but could be much more expensive A little bit noisy in the night. Windows with double glasses should be needed
The hotel is well located in the center of town, near train station and all the old city attractions. Breakfast was excellent wit lots of varieties.
Very friendly personal. Good location, 5 min. to the Main station, 5 min. to the dome, in the old part of the city. Breakfast for Italy ok. Very clean. Because the hotel is directly at the Piazza Santa Maria Novella, it's a bit noisy at night.
Location of the hotel to the trains/bus station Nice room and view over the square Goof breakfast facilities
Everything was perfect as always. The hotel is central to transportation and the city center which is great. No
Location, convenience for station and restaurants Our room only had a skylight so no view - suspect this would be true of all 5th floor rooms;
Excellent breakfast too much noise from the windows not sound proof enough.
The location is very convenient for shopping and nice restaurants nearby. In general it is a comfortable, elegant hotel. This time our room was on the first floor and we could hear the noise from outside. The particular room's bathroom had a musty odor.
The room we were given was dark, needed lights on all the time, overlooked a dingy and noisy (half the night) back lane. The hotel was expensive for the quality of room offered. We did not think it rated four star.
A comfortable stay in a good location. It is a short distance from the station and within easy walking distance of the main locations. The staff were helpful and cheerful, especially in the breakfast room.
Location, value Had to friend Hotel get into internet, every time logged in and very slow
Location was the best for us, breakfast was good enough I highly recommend. Rooms are small but that's not a big deal for us
The position of this is hotel must be one of the best in the whole of Florence it is so close to everything there is to see. As soon as you walk out of the door you are there. 10 steps and you are on the Ponte Vecchio a 2 minute walk to the Pitti Palace a 5 minute walk to the Uffizi (which we didnt go in as the queue waiting to go in was ridiculous if you seriously want to go book it before you travel) a 3 minute walk to the Piazza Republica and a 6 minute walk to the Duomo. The roof top terrace on the 6th floor is the reason why I origionally chose this hotel and I was not dissapointed after a tiring day of sightseeing to come back to the terrace for a drink and relax was heaven.Of a night dinner is served on the terrace and although the menu is very limited (due to the very small kitchen area) the food wes excellent. I would reccomend this hotel 100% to anyone. For best buys in Florence you should go the market stalls around San Lorenzo theare fantastic I got the most fab leather jacket for £80.One of the best city breaks I have had.
Location and free breakfast All good
Great Location, the price was deffinatly worth it concidering it is very central to everything.
Love the location of this hotel - very close to Pitti Palace and Boboli gardens, as well as the Ufizzi. I love the area and literally seeing the Boboli garden house from the breakfast table. The breakfast is pretty nice quality and the view from the terrace is one of the nicest in Florence. The hotel has also adopted two friendly cats that laze on the terrace. The staff has always been terrific. I did not like the noise this time. I have stayed at this hotel before, but on upper floors. This time I was on the second floor and the street noise of the vendors setting up at 5 am, and people stumbling and singing back from the bars late into the night was more than I'd experienced previously. The two things that were upsetting this time, were 1) a fellow patron across the hall woke me up at 2 am on my first night there as he spoke loudly into his cell phone for 20 solid minutes, then again at 2:30 another call and again at 3 am a third. he apparently didn't want to bother the woman who was staying with him, who complained loudly, so he stepped into the hallway to take his calls right in front of my door, and proceeded to literally yell into his phone like there was a bad NASA connection to Mars. The second thing that was pretty bad this time was it seemed that the cleaning staff arrived at 5- 5:30 am every morning and proceeded to walk around directly above, sorting out their carts for the day. We really like this hotel, but if we have to endure this kind of noise, we will find another favorite place.
Fantastic location and excellent staff. Very good value for money, clean and reasonable breakfast. nothing to dislike
Very close to all major galleries. Clean, upgraded at no cost. The best reception staff in Italy for assistance. Very pleased with the choice.
Great location, friendly reception staff and clean comofortable rooms Breakfast bufet was dismantled while we were still eating
location is perfect, near the most famous bridge of Frenze, Ponte Vecciho. You can arrive Duomo and Uffizi just by walking.
I liked the ancient building of the hotel and its situation and also very good and friendly stuff. During our staying at the hotel we had 2 times change the room. First- because of problem with the wardrobe door in the room, the second time becase of the repairing works on our floor.
The hotel's location is its strongest point - very central and heaps to see and do and eat!!! All good.
the location the service the politness
Location is excellent and staff were very helpful and nice.
Staff was helpful and very nice, Willing to help with anything you needed help with. Great location!
Very accommodating staff. Very clean and stylish hotel. Great breakfasts and great central location.
it was comfortabl
A truly contemporary experience that was refreshing after being immersed in the Renaissance architecture and art of Florence. Excellent location right on the Arno. The staff was very efficient if not overly warm and friendly. They were often understaffed (problem with management) with people lined up at the front desk w/ only one young woman trying to serve everyone. We felt well cared for by the hotel, through many email communiques, a beautiful, quiet room, and a lovely bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. We are in our 50s, travel extensively, and found that the other guests were much younger; acted entitled, and rude. This is no fault of the hotel, just who their clientele attracts....we might try another Lungaro property next time.
I loved the buzz, atmosphere and staff in the fusion/ restaurant bar - I loved the double shower.- Clean sheets every night pure heaven!! Hotel too cold- breakfast poor choice - lack of info re the facilities at sister hotels without asking - waiting for water to come through system ( a bit strange)
Excellent hotel and very convenientl;y positioned in Florence. Only issue is price casued by the weakness of the pound against the Euro.
The locatin, the service and the room
Great location , cool hotel, They had a problem with the internet which was not solved while we were there. We were there for business and therefore that was a big problem. I do not think that hotels understand how important is Internet these days. If they have a problem, they should come with alternative solutions. The internet was offered free, which was good, but............. did not work! Hopefully it was just a bad luck.
It was a great location The staff were not very welcoming and informative. There was a really unpleasant smell during our entire two day stay. Hotel lacked atmosphere.
the rooms were clean, the hotel is very central for site seeing there was a good variety of breakfast that the hotel did not have a bar/lounge
Location was close to train station. Bed linens were very old looking. Toilet and shower were not clean even after advising staff. Bathroom outlet fried my hairdryer with Europe converter. Phone to hotel office didn't work.
Location Couldn't open window for fresh air. When exiting the lift, it was necessary to go down approximately 10 steps to room.
Very kind people - the old fashion building - in the city of Florence near by everything
The location was perfect and the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was incredible!
The excelent localization, and the cleanliness of the room. the breakfast was really good also! It's quite old, but perfectly acceptable..
The room was very large and very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There could have been more chairs or a couch in the room
Very friendly, helpful and courteous staff The corridor leading to our room was exceptionally narrow-cosider using mirrors to eliminate the claustrophobic feeling
The hotel is central for all activities
Simple, clean, quiet room. The location was ideal (2 minute walk to the Duomo). Good breakfast in a beautiful room (or on a sunny terrace). Paris' staff is friendly. The hotel is nothing to write home about, but it is certainly nice and just what we needed for a convenient home base while exploring Firenze.
This hotel was good for the price. It's very old and not renovated but it's fine. The staff was helpful. The electrical wifing is old so we could only charge one phone at a time or the lights would go out.
Proximity to gare de nord WIFI Helpful Staff Nice room The bed was two twins pushed together
Location is great. Rooms are clean and very nice. Price is ok. Hallways are very noisy. Pillows unconfortable. Breakfast not that good.
Location was perfect. A bit cold in the main areas. Breakfast was very poor.
Staff was very helpful and pleasant, hotel is well located, breakfast was OK, but nothing else. Shower was not clean, it was clogged with hair, so water did not flow our prioperly.
Great tub with 12 jacuzzi jets. Nice breakfast. Liked the Champagne Roof Room. Good service there. Front desk people very helpful and spoke English.
the central location, the good beds and the cleanliness of the rooms.
The staff are really helpful and the room we had was very clean I'd use the Hotel California again
Gorgeous, maybe one would call it old fashioned, but exceptionally well kept hotel, beautiful reception area, high ceilings, spacious comfortable rooms, superb staff, friendly and very available for every demand, supreme breakfast. This hotel will make your stay in Florence unforgettable, I'm positive of that! One of the truely great hotels of this world, and affordable as well.. Absolutely NOTHING!
I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is an old hotel but it is very well maintained. the staff was superb, reception, bar, breakfast staff, all really helpful and smiley. I had a single room on the 4th floor with a balcony (magnificent view over the river). The room was very pleasant, not too spacious but more than enough for one person. the location is superb. walking distance to everything! Only a shower head in the bathroom of the single room (I got a glance of a double room and they do have baths instead of showers).
Good quiet location but within walking distance of all the main attractions. Spacious comfortable room with large balcony. Could do with a dressing table in the room. There is enough space. Restaurant on the expensive side.
Excellent location, staff welcoming and very helpful, confortable room with a wodnerful view!!! As before we found the quality of food provided at the restaurant (we had lunch on arrival and breakfast each day) was not of the standard expected.
Assistance given by concierge in booking of taxi etc
Our room faced the river m, such a beautiful view. The room was nice & very clean. The concierge recommended some excellent restaurants. The street noise is loud at night, so either ask for a quiet room some where or bring ear plugs. The staff working the breakfast each morning could be a lot more friendly.
We loved the view from our balcony. Staff made us feel very much at home.
The Duplex room we booked was beautifully decorated, spacious with floor to ceiling doors opening to a glorious view over the Arno. Also, very tasty buffet breakfast. Reservation staff, in particular Silvia, were extremely helpful. Menu in restaurant was quite limited. A bit more seafood on the menu would have been nice. We arrived from Dublin at 4.15pm not having had any lunch. Full Room service didn't operate between 2 and 7pm when kitchen was closed. However, We did get a very tasty ham and cheese sandwich!
Very well situated on walking distance of the city center. Limited breakfast buffet.
convenient location, lovely hotel
