I was disappointed with the Copthorne Tara Hotel, it is obviously catering for groups but not for me as a a solo business traveller, it was just to chaotic and noisy and always busy in the breakfast room, at reception, the lifts. Excellent hotel. Comfortable, close to underground station, and friendly and helpful staff. My only recommendation is to add some ecological value, as WC with double buttons, changing the towels according to customer preferences, etc.

All staff were extremely helpful during the stay. I arrived in very early and was able to leave my luggage while I shopped and visited museums near by. They also worked to get me checked in a few hours early free of charge! The rooms are gorgeous and immaculately clean. Pros (+) Reception staff and concierges excellent - however not friendly when called from room. Good range of facilities and pleasant lounge area, iron on room, overall gives the impression of a good hotel though a little faded
Cons (-) Reception staff, while mainly excellent, not friendly when called from room. Bathroom was not very clean on the first day. Rooms are faded and old-fashioned, especially bathroom.
