Comfortable room , wifi ok , toilets were clean The staff was very rude . When I requested a half an hour delay in check out time , they threatened to barge in the room exactly at 12.00 . I had to tell them , if they like I can walk in underpants in the lobby and dress up there !!!! Very impolite and rude for a four star hotel . Never choose this hotel , whatever the good review might say....
Location n view of eiffel
The hotel room is so spacious and comfortable. The location is so close to Eiffel Tower. None
The view of the Eiffel Tower was worth the cost of the hotel. The furniture was a little shabby for the price of the room.
the breakfast buffet was incredible. Great variety, amount and quality. We also loved that the staff controlled entry to the buffet area so everyone got seated nicely and it kept the start of the mornings pleasant. The free Wi-Fi they offer is a bit too slow to do much, so it is almost necessary to buy the upgrade for 22 Euros/day they offer.
Location & friendlyness. Location & friendlyness.
The close proximity to both the Metro and Eiffel Tower, River Seine were the only plusses. The room was spacious, but even thought tea/coffee sachets were supplied, there were no cups. We asked 3 times before cups were provided, then the cups were not replaced on the following day. In addition, toilet paper was not replenished and we asked but without success. The bathroom floor had not been cleaned and there were large strands of hair in the toilet on arrival. All in all, housekeeping left alot to be desired.
The location cannot be beat...rooms are large and very clean. There is a computer room with free internet access, 5 computers and printers. This was a rare treat. I will stay here again. Drink prices at the bar are ridiculously high. Two small drinks 38 euros..I could buy the bottle for that.
The whole experience was excellent -- I was very impressed. Staff were unfailingly attentive, the dinner excellent, the breakfast full of available variety. The view of the tower from the balcony impressed my grand-daughter!I am not all that easily pleased, so not inclined to easily give high ratings, but I have to say that every aspect of the stay was excellent. Nothing.
Very helpful and courteous staff. The hotel is in need of refurbishment. It will be very difficult to remain classified as **** unless this is done very soon. The 'free' wi-fi is very slow in the rooms.
The location and the hotel staff
Very helpful and attentive staff, good breakfast and location, location , location. stones throw away from the eiffel. expect better housekeeping services in the room.
good restaurant. central position
Near to Eiffel Tower. It takes 5 minutes walk to Eiffel Tower. Hotel room facing Eiffel Tower.
It is clean the staff is friendly and the food is good The room is small there is no lotion, conditioner, or snacks in the mini fridge
its very close 2 effiel tour its rooms r very very very small, the hotel is very crowded,,
Location, breakfast buffet, separate toilet for a 4 star hotel, it looked a bit outdated with little damages to walls, doors etc
Location of the hotel is very good and all the staff with whom we were involved was of extreme sympathy and they matched all our needs with an outstanding sense of professionalism. -
Excellent position very close to Eiffel Tower. General quality of hotel. Good value for price paid. Very poor experience booking in at hotel. It took over an hour and a half and being issued with four rooms before getting right room. First room was smoking room - booked NON-smoking. 2nd room allocated was occupied by someone else! Third room allocated was a double room with no bed for my son. Check in staff were friendly and apologetic but should not have let this happen and have done more to get it right and make amends. Other staff very friendly and helpful.
Location and convenience. The Lobby was quite nice. And the staff were helpful. No complimentary Internet for hotel guest. I had to brin my laptop which you don't on a holiday. Other mercure hotels around Europe offer it.
A well located hotel within easy walking distance to Eiffel Tower, local restaurants, a number of Paris museums and the river. Quiet. In-house breakfast poor.
No American outlets, no office or staff on site.
Close proximity to everything. Being able to see the Eiffel Tower from the hotel so closely was fantastic. The front desk staff were always helpful and very friendly.
Location is perfect. The bathroom was clean, beautiful and large. The woman at the reception told us wrong taxi fare to the airport. We had to pay far more than we were told at the reception. In my opinion, they should know such basic info for tourists.
position close to interesting places hospitality, regularity of room service, room cleaning
Overpriced, very small rooms, lights were broken in the room, don't know if I would use it again.
Friendly hotel staff. Shower needed a couple of repairs.
Location, comfort, cleanliness When I inquired about transportation to the airport, the desk clerk did not freely offer any information. She answered questions that were specifically posed to her but only that. Perhaps a review of what customer service entails would be beneficial to staff.
The Hotel should be classified as two stars and not Four stars ..The rooms were very low in standard ...The location of the hotel was good.. I really hated the room I stayed in as the furniture was old and the room was very cold ..
Decent room, quite small but adequate. Nice staff. Good location Could have used more towels
staff was helpful and well informed breakfast room ambiance and food selection
Location The service
the location was good and locality quiet with good restaurants nearby... Poor Breakfast
Perfect staff, clean and well-decorated room, low price parking When use bathroom, water is everywhere.
clean, fresh, comfortable, freindly and attractive, good location
The hotel is situated in a safe street nearby the Eiffel. The tub of the shower was out of order. After seconds the tub was full with water. At the end we payed 150 without taking a proper shower. At night there is a ticking noise, that is really anoying. Tip do not take a room next to the elivator. When I mentioned about the shower the reception did not respond and react at all. That is not the service one expects from a four star ranked hotel.
Nice location. Clean room and bathroom. Very helpful and nice staff. Comfortable beds.
I liked the serenity - it was quiet and very comfortable Nothing!
The interior design was excellent, the intimate yet spacious feel of the hotel was best feature. The shower was a little awkward
very friendly staff. just a short walk from the eiffel tower and a nearby subway station. poor value for money.
It was a fantastic room - excellent service, cleanliness and location. It was very quiet in the hotel lobby - perhaps some light music would help make you feel more comfortable
Very friendly staff. Very very helpful. The morning I was leaving whilst waiting for my taxi they insisted on giving me a coffee on the house. They booked the Moulin Rouge for me, taxis, gave me DVDs to watch, helped me use the DVD player - honestly they were great. Plus the hotel is a perfect location for a city trip! Very Comfortable! I really enjoyed everything about my stay and would highly recommend your hotel. The staff were brilliant!!!
We had a very nice stay in this hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the room small but nice and cosy. The bathroom was good, clean and hot water available (you never know in Paris :-). It is very quiet (!), even though there is very good access to public transport (Metro, Bus). Also the Eiffel tower is just around the corner by foot. The parking space for private cars is relatively cheap (15 euros/ night) and spacious. Breakfast is too expensive so we preferred taking it in some bakery nearby.
Central location, near to Eiffel tower. Quiet street. Decor. Quality bathroom gadgets. Spacious room for Paris standards. Breakfast not included in room price (+ 18€!). Very small lounge/bar area.Towel cleanliness definitively need an upgrade!
I booked a triple at the last minute (day before) and got a very nice upscale room. The hotel was very modern and comfortable. Location next to Eiffel Tower was awesome! Don't drink the coffee, I think it's Nescafe instant. Seriously! Instead go to the coffee shop on the corner across the street - coffee there was very good.
front desk was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is a five minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and convenient to the metro. The hotel staff were very helpful and the room was comfortable and very clean. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.
It would have been nice to have an English newspaper in the a.m. The staff was friendly. Christina (front desk) and Souad (breakfast) had wonderful smiles and made us feel very welcome
Hotel was located in a calm district. It was very close to Passy metro station which connects you easily to all main attractions in the city. Rooms were clean. Staff was helpful. Internet access in the rooms and breakfast was expensive. However you can have free wifi in the lobby.
Size of rooms confusion over use of mini bar
The staff was welcoming, even before my arrival. The location was easy to get to -- my uber from Gare du Nord was 13 euros and the Passy metro station was so close (2ish blocks), I used it a lot. My room was perfect -- small (single) but very clean and nice amenities. I was so glad to come back each night. Would definitely stay here again.
close to the metro station, not very central, but much, much better than hotels in centre of Paris (which are old, dirty, without facilities like elevators, air-cond.etc, yet very expensive), very clean, large room for Paris, great bathroom (with clean towels every day) breakfast, for 15 EUR/pers was very, very poor, both in quantity and in variety
The convenience and the helpful service of the people working in the hotel. Showers and bathroom were excellent and having broadband in the foyer was really good. I would have liked tea and coffee making and a fridge in the room but perhaps I didn't book a room with this. It might be worth thinking about broadband in all rooms? And the TV channels - perhaps more in English?
The receptionist staff were most friendly and helpful Room was to cramped for sleeping in as bed tight agasinst the wall
The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The location was excellent. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet.
Close location to the Eiffel Tower. Dirty, rude staff, booked 2 non-smoking twin rooms which was confirmed over the phone by booking.com and they gave us 2 smokers double rooms, saying we would need to pay more if we wanted to have twin rooms although they were booked this way. The reception staff was rude and the hotel dirty and run down. Incredible sauna like heat during the day when we were not there, but it was turned off at night in -2º weather. No hot water either, barely warm. Will never stay here again and don't recomend it to anyone.
The design of the hotel is brilliant ab the stuff very veru helpfull. The metro station is very close so its convinient. I would prefer if there was a proper restaurant at the hotel.
Great rooms and food. The staff are so helpful. the jacuzzi was not working.
I loved the interior of the hotel very streamline, not your ordinary chain hotel
It is located near a metro station and in the heart of Paris
Staff were great, couldn't have looked after us anymore, room was the best.
Excellent, friendly staff; close to the Passy Metro stop. Very quiet in the evenings, very comfortable. Nice jacuzzi and steam room, which can be booked for privacy. Very expensive...but worth it!
Quietness of the room & geographic situation. It was unpleasant to see a hotel staff smoking for rest in front of the main entrance, when I went in and out of the hotel. OK if it were a youth hostel !
The staff were great. Helped us a lot choosing restaurant, clubs etc. Pricy but I guess you have to pay for class!
the room room temperature too high
Style of hotel with great room and design. Location was perfect for us. Short walk from eiffel tower and near metroPlease write at least 15 words Lack of resteraunts within short distance
Cleanliness, affordable and the location was excellent
The location is fantastic for tourists: it's a few blocks away from the Eiffel Tower and directly in front of a strategic Metro station (including the train to Versailles). The staff were accommodating and helpful. The room and shower are large, especially considering the cost. Our room was facing the street and there was some noise coming from the train and passers-by in the evening.
The stafff was incredibly helpful and very friendly. The decor in the lobby is nice. The rooms are tiny even by European standards. The twin room we shared really only could comfortable accomodate a single twin bed. We had to crawl across the beds to get to the bathroom.
Very handy - a short walk from the Eiffel Tower and directly opposite Bir Hakeim Metro station on the banks of the Seine. Excellent position and adequate facilities. Our room was tiny but this was to be expected for central Paris and has been highlighted in all previous reviews. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Watch out for the bar next door - v expensive - walk down Bd De Grenelle for more reasonable prices.
Just in front of a Metro Station. Close to touristic spots. Internet access for free Very small rooms, elevators and corridors
The dining room was far too warm which made it very uncomfortable to spend much time over your breakfast.
The hotel was 5 min away from the Eiffel and near Bir Hakeim metro station. If you want a clean and affordable hotel in the city center this is a nice one but the rooms are so small. The hotel was small, rooms and bathrooms are very small and the halls are very very narrow that 2 person can't pass each other at a time.
Excellent hotel. Outstanding location. Great bed and linen. Wonderful stuff. Right across subway and short stroll to Eiffel Tower. A bit small size room and closet
The room was fine and the location of the hotel was good (near the metro and RER)...Only 3 minute walk from Eiffel Tower... The services of the hotel were UNACCEPTABLE!!!We went on 26th November and we had booked it until 30th!When we arrived,we realised the hotel had no electricity and we couldnt get to our room after all this trip because the recepionist couldn't create the form of our reservation to the computer! That's not the worst! We understood that there was a technical problem with the electricity and we were waiting! Finally we got to our club room after an hour and a half! The second day,we returned to the hotel the afternoon, the hotel had a technical problem with the water and we hadn't any water!i didn't tell anything but an hour ago,we had no elecricity AGAIN!We finally changed hotel but we paid for the first night although they are blamed for all this
Excellent location, helpful staff and very good facilities. I would happily stay here again. A very minor niggle was that the room was rather overheated. But it was very quiet at the back of the hotel so having the window open wasn't a problem.
good location, size of the room is ok, hotel staff is helpful internet connection, even at the lobby, is always and very problematic, when you ask for a taxi, ask for a public one as they get you a private taxi with much higher rates
Great view of Eiffel Tower.
staff OK Internet acces was a real mess, almost never operational and when operational very very bad connexion. Some lights were not operationnal in the room, bathroom products low quality
good location and friendly receptionists
location low level of room service even after asking specific things like soap or bath robe to the reception had to ask again in order to get it...but in any case the room wasn't prepared as it should have been.No parking arrangement at the hotel and no public parking in the area. I was sent to a parking that is not publically opened so had to end up looking for a room to park in the streets. Hotel should have better knowledge to guide its guests.
Location Not what I expected. Hotel claims to be a 4 star but, It's no better then any 3 star in Paris.
I chose this hotel because of its location, and it has Internet connection. The location was realy great, 100 meter from the Trecadero square and the metro, comfortable and soft of quite area. The very bad problem I had was the Internet connection, I stayed there for 10 days, and I was promised the connection issue will be solved many times, but almost never worked, it was very bad since I really needed the internet during my stay to follow up on ongoing projects that needed my daily attention. The receptionists tried to help, the manager did not bother to call for an apology, although my repeated complains about this issue.
The location is very good The room was too warm, and there was noise from neighboring rooms or apartments
small, room was not clean, bed was not comfortable. too expensive.
The hotel is close to metro station and to the main tourist attractions in Paris. We had all support needed from the hotel staff. The internet connection in the room is excellent. The bed could be better.
small, but good
Excellent location and friendly staff. Tiny rooms
it was agood 10 minutes walk from the eiffel tower and it has not have the eiffel tower view but rather than that the hotels in a clean conditions freindly staff
The room was exactly how it was described. Small but clean! My guess is that they have an override switch on the air conditioning because every morning our air was off and we couldn't turn it on. Then, in the evening, before bed, it would come on again!
Location was fantastic near lots of cute restaurants & bars. Walking distance from Eiffel Tower! The lady behind the desk was very helpful with tours and directions - also very friendly. The room was small, but I think most rooms in Paris are small - not much room for clothes, etc. But we managed!
Location is great!
the hotel room is newly renivated and clean. the hotel lift is extremly small and it's dangerous when walk out from the lift due to the lift's door is just right in front of the stair case.
The hotel was new, clean and located in a very good area. Nothing
The location was excellent, just 5 minutes by foot to Tour d'Eiffel. Also metrostation was just 3 minutes by foot. The bed was comfortable and from our room we had a great view of the top of the Tour d'Eiffel! The rooms are a bit small, but that's the same in almost all hotels in Paris.
good location with the budget no service at all even for the safe box
Staff were very helpful.Location to viewing sites was excellent. Also a short train ride to all the local viewing spots. Shower a tad tiny.
The location was exactly where we wanted No
location was ideal right next to the eiffel tower and along the seine there information was incorrect about seen the eiffel tower from the hotel and we were under the impression brekfast was included in the price of the room. we stayed right next to the lift as well which was very noisy and the room was quiet small bearly enough room to move around even with just the two of us staying there. no proper ventalion either our room was quiet hot all throughtout the day and night
Shower did not work, Lock was broken, TV as too far away to see
Near of tour eiffel
the fact that it was less than 1 mile from the Eiffel Tower it may not be fair that i just came off of a 7 day cruise. The room was old. the shower did not stay on the wall and you had to hold it in your hand. The bed was fine, but again I do not think the comparison would be fair.
reception, room, breakfast, cleanliness, staff, location all top class. Will recommend and come again. Not a thing!
Its location NO
Good location Room was very small, even for by Paris standards
Closeness to the Eiffel tower
The breakfast, it was substantial and very good value. The staff with one exception were the worst and the rudest people I have ever met. Would not stay here again. And they had the decorators in right outside our room, how long is this decorating going to go on for, because according to the web site reveiws its going on a few years now.
Location:5-8 min walk to metro stations, supermarket and eiffel tower. Friendly and helpful staff Toilet room too small. Need to have at least facilities to make tea & coffee.
The hotel is located at the hearth of the city. Very close to the metro station . The breakfast is great . But the room is smelling from its toilet. It needs to refurnish again. Wıreless internete is not working when you are at the room.
The location and cost were both excellent. The hotel was under renovation, and we were charged a deposit which was not disclosed. It was refunded a day after we left the hotel. Thankfully we didn't need to use that money.
The breakfast staff most helpful also desk staff and handy to everything a pleasure to stay loved looking out on the street better than the room we have previous visit and we will pass on good comments re your hotel yours Sandra and Harry Gentsch Queensland Australia
We liked how close the hotel was to everything, 3 min walk to the Eiffel Tower and a nice walk along the seine but also really close to everything on the metro. The hotel rooms were alot smaller than it seemed on the pictures and I would definately request an attick room (these seem bigger) if I go again. However the walls were really thin and we could hear the women next door coughing which was interesting! Once you got over this and remember how much you are paying for the hotel (very little in comparison to some) you realise that with proximity and the superb french metro system the hotel is ok.
Decent bed size. If you're looking for a quick stay here to sleep and jet it's perfect but not for a family. Heater didn't warm up the room. Bed sheet had stain. No safe for locking up safe items. Elevator way to small. Stairs to narrow.
Terms of staff. Staff was very friendly. Parking is very expensive.
It was comfortable for staying at night for 2 nights. The room was so small.
The closeness to the Eiffel Tower, the fact that we could see the top half from our room, th staff were great, and the rooms very nice and always clean. No
Location Room too small, bathroom too small, towels very old & were not changed on daily basis
Only a few minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower. The smell of damp in the room.
Location The wireless internet did not work, two guys were put into a room for a couple, the room was provided with towels for 1 person
Helpful and friendly reception staff, welcoming reception area, free internet access, quiet room, excellent location. Corners of the bathroom floor not very clean, smelly elevator, noisy room doors at night.
The location is fantastic. Very small rooms, and lousy wi-fi.
The hotel was very clean, the staff helpful, and the location is superb. No problems
Desk staff were polite and helpful. Good location. Tiny room; no A/C; poor storage (no dresser or closet)
1.it's very near tour Eiffel---I can go to Tour Eiffel everyday 2.I like all the staffs there ---they are so friendly ---they taught me to speak French ---really nice! 3.the room is so great!---Wowwwww---romantic for a young couple like us ---everything is so great!---in the next trip to France I will stay in this hotel again ---I like all the staff there most
that it was in paris the staff was very rude, and tried to charge me for everything!
the neighborhood was wonderful, near the eiffel tower, rue cler neighborhood, cafes. carpet was wet on our arrival (hopefully from recent 'cleaning' although it was very old and stained. after our first night stay we were not given clean towels. our wet towels were hung up on the shower door. we had to go to the desk clerk for clean ones.
