San Diego hotels in Marina

Cons: I know CA has water shortage but the sink water pressure was ridiculously low. So much so that the water temp would not reach warm. I ended up using the shower for brushing my teeth. The garage does not accomedate large cars which made it difficult to park the Suburban, not XL just normal size. There are some spots but the compact cars park there and 90% of the parking spots are really compact. The stairs in the parking structure need to be cleaned and aired out they have an intense urine smell. We like to take the stairs but kept with the elevator for that reason.

Cons: When I woke up in the AM i noticed my iPhone was covered in dust. I then noticed the desk with my black laptop, across from the air conditioning vent was also covered in dust particles. This is a big deal for me because I have a dust mite allergy, but still have never seen this level of dust collect just overnight. I think the air filter vents in these rooms are very very dirty and just blow dust all night as Long as the AC is running. I was extremely congested all day due to my allergy and had a hard day networking at my convention. Also, the TV service this day and age is sub-poor. No guide and some of the channels didn't work "no signal".

Cons: Some (not all) staff seemed a bit grumpy onfront desk

Cons: The fireplace in the room didn't really work. The maintenance guy came to the room, but couldn't figure out how to fix it. Not a huge deal, but a bit disappointing. The ceiling above us was creaky... every time the people in the room above would move around the ceiling would creak and squeak. It was annoying, but otherwise the room was quiet.

Cons: Fridge in the room would have been helpful.

Cons: You guys cancelled my reservation for a conference....... :(

Cons: Nothing.

Cons: The valet needs to bring his coffee with him at 7am or drink before he leaves home. I had to rustle him up to make an 8am appointment.

Cons: Room was a bit smaller than expected. I didn't like that there was no place in the hotel to heat up any food.

Cons: Thin walls (could overhear other tenants talking and snoring!!)

Cons: I should have realized that, being in the Gaslamp Quarter, parking was sparse, but in order to park your car overnight, it was $30. That said, it is a comparable rate to other lots not quite as close, and you can take your car in and out as often as you'd like each day, which you can't at other lots, plus you use the valet, and they bring the car around for you. The other thing I didn't like was the bed. It wasn't the most uncomfortable bed I've slept in, but it was firmer than I'd prefer, and the sheets were a rougher fabric than I've used in other hotels. For the ladies, I'd also recommend bringing a travel mirror. The one in the bathroom was a tad too tall, and there isn't much counter space either.

Cons: Room on the small side, which was ok for our short stay, but not if you've got plenty of luggage. Some minor details could use touch ups (e.g., bottom corner of doors in bathroom chipped). Not sound proof.

Cons: I didn't like how short my stay was...nothing you could do! When we had brunch, I feel as though we could have had faster service but other than that the food was yummy and the space was beautiful!

Cons: i would just suggest bigger pillows :)

Cons: Tv cable connection constantly lost connection.

Cons: Not giving free breakfast (even charge in rate).

Cons: The bathroom was SUPER small. :) But we survived. There was a room service menu in the room but when we called they said they weren't offering room service - a little odd but we found a great place nearby.

Cons: Being near the convention center it was a bit noisy and rooms that face the center courtyard are subject to echo of conversation late at night.

Cons: Valet was so expensive, fireplace never worked, our room was very very small. I did not get a call back from the lost and found. I left my personal pillow, called back twice they never responded. It was hard to sleep from the noise outside.

Cons: Tiny room! No fridge in the room (sad to not store our dinner left overs)
