After all that wait I was asked to sign an Indemnity form stating that I'll be responsible for any penalties whatsoever from Dubai Immigration if denied entry in dubai. The staff don't even know the rules and have behaved so dumb while dealing with passenger and have zero knowledge about document checks. Either the airline needs to get them more trained before getting them on the floor or needs to take strict action against them. Because wasting my time at the Mumbai airport was not so entertaining for me and the airline did not even seem apologetic about it. Vistara has hired some really unprofessional and uneducated staff at their Mumbai station."

Traveling by air in India in economy class is like traveling in a greyhound bus. If you are from the US and 30+ year old avoid the Economy class."

"Check in is a mess. Be ready for a traumatic experience from the unsupportive and rude check in staffs and duty managers at Calicut airport. It’s a chaos and the lines are mostly first in last out, as they don’t care of the passenger well being or the waiting time. They are just concerned of checking in before the boarding call. Personal experience is of standing 2 hours straight just for check in. Flight is ok, food preordered are all the instant ones with hot water mix, which tastes pathetic. Overall, will never take another indigo flight to fly out of india."

They said they’d check and get back with us. When they did they said the additional charge for 15kg was more than the ticket itself!! For more than 15 up to 30kg it was nearly 3 times as much! This really felt like a scam! We asked to cancel the flight and were told we could, but there was no guarantee of any refund. We said to cancel it anyway. Later I was told there would be no refund. I assumed it had been canceled and yet I got emails telling me it was time to check in, etc. And then I’m asked to review my flight! So, between Indigo and Kiwi.com I felt I got terrible service. I will not use either of them again. In the end we got a flight for the original amount including 15kg of checked baggage from a different website and on a different airline that left at the exact same. There was a reasonable charge per 5 kg over the15 allowed."

After two hours of people telling me "No no no", someone finally figured out that kiwi had used some unique credit card number under my fellow passenger's name. I had struggled and argued for two hours. Finally someone knew and recognized the issue and helped us. In the nick of time, we were allowed on board."

In India, some airlines like Spicejet asks you if you actually carry the credit card by which it was paired to the airline. If not, the airline will make you pay the entire fare again. Regarding the review which mentions paying for additional baggage with Kiwi.com - I also tried to book additional baggage with them. I paid for the service but was then sent an email and told I could not book additional baggage through their website and should use the Spicejet website. I contacted Spicejet customer service who were very helpful and efficient and booked the additional baggage with them without any problems. The issue is with Kiwi.com and not Spicejet. Based on this experience I would definitely fly with Spicejet again."

He was rude, refused to call the manager and I had to pay another 400 rupees in cash. I want KIWI or you to refund my baggage fee paid by my credit card or I will take up the case with my credit card company, I will not recommend any one to do business with both KIWI.com and Spicejet.."

Cons: "The flight was delayed by an hour and 10 mins and no announcements at Pune airport. Cabin crew seemed welcoming when entering the aircraft but was very crude in the way food was served and didn't really care. Just wanted to get it all over with and go home it seemed."

Cons: "We took the direct flight from chicago to Delhi and it was horrible. The flight is over 15 hours and the seats are a slight upgrade from cardboard. The trays were all broken and the media systems worked about half of the time. The air vent was full of black mold and I was cut by a broken seat. The staff at the check in desk, gate and on board were all rude. Beverage service was only offered once the entire flight. I would strongly urge anyone needing to get to Delhi to not fly air India or this specific flight."

Cons: "Check-in was slow and indifferent. Boarding was chaos and then we had to be held back on the bridge because they realized the aircraft was still being cleaned. Plane was dirty and rundown, despite being a recent Boeing Dreamliner - looked like a drunken rugby stag party had spent a night kicking the seats. In-flight information for immigration was incorrect, leading us to stand in the wrong line for 10 minutes once we got to Delhi. Priority baggage tags were useless - I had a quick domestic connection in Delhi that we almost missed because they couldn't find my luggage, then when we arrived at our final destination the luggage was still back in Delhi. I had to wait 24 hours for it to arrive in Jodhpur. I left sunglasses and headphones on the plane but don't bother trying to contact lost property - the email address on Air India website is no longer in use, and customer service don't want to know about it and said to call the airport."

My dad's flight was delayed both times - he spent over 11 hours at the airport with no proper information from the staff. It was my first and most definitely the LAST TIME."
