Place is a dump, which immediately raised concerns, but the big issue was the agent's trying to upsell constantly. Specifically, they insisted on providing us "collision only" coverage at $23.99 per day unless we could provide them with the declarations page on our insurance coverage. Being a Saturday the insurance company was closed we had a real problem. My wife was eventually able to find an email from the company confirming our coverage with the deductibles (which was what they were really after). We got it resolved, but only after escalating to a supervisor. What we observed with the other customers was more of the same thing - hard sell. Not surprising given the rates, but we won't be coming back. Their hours are 8AM-6PM. If you return off hours there is a different procedure and a fee (I think that it's $22.50) for the drop off. This wasn't a problem for us, as we arrived promptly at 8AM and were quickly processed. But it's another issue.Reviewed 12 Dec 2023

The pick-up process was long and drawn out. From the 2 stop pick-up to only having 3 attendants to get a lot of people cars. I will not rent from them again at the LAX airport.Reviewed 17 Mar 2023

Bad service, bad area ,bad attitude and I walked out without renting the car,after stand in line for 45 minutes. And a lot of people before me and after me are very upset.😡 If anything I can do to get the money back 🙏Reviewed 14 Mar 2023

Pros:The drop off was as difficult as they could make it. You had to take a bus to a parking lot and then they picked up in a van at the parking lot to take you to the rental office. Drop off was even worse, they are only open 8:00 Am to 6:00 PM. If you have a flight later in the day, you have to take the rental car to a over night parking lot and pay an extra 27.50 for that service. The thing they don't tell you is that in order to get into the parking lot you have to have a reservation with the parking lot. They don't tell you this and then your stuck with the car and not able to make it to your flight.Cons:Everything! This place is super shady and I would highly suggest removing them from KAYAK as they are not a good representative of what this booking company stands for. I have used KAYAK on numerous occasions and have always had a good experience. I was very upset that this type of company was an available option on this website. I would like to tell you I was the only person to experience this problem but unfortunately that is not the case. Pros:I arranged the car rental online. After doing so, without knowing the specific agency, I realized that my flight would arrive too late to pick up the car. I immediately called to try to cancel the reservation but was told that couldn't happen. So instead I arranged for a one night's stay at a hotel rather than driving to see my family after my arrival. I had called the car rental agency a day or two before my trip and told the person I spoke to that I would have to pick up my car on the second day of my rental instead of the first day. The person I spoke to advised me to show up before noon. The day after my arrival I went to the agency (U-Save) at 8 am when it opened. The representative at the agency told me that because I did not show up on the first day of the rental they had no similar car available. That agent had no record of my having called to say I would be there a day later. The agent did find a much bigger SUV and said I could rent it for $10/day more. The agent went on to tell me about the hefty additional fees I would incur for any violations and use of toll roads that might occur. Pros:Super sketchy when I didn’t have a credit card with me. Paid via Kayak with my credit card, but when I got there they made me pay an additional fee because I only had a debit card. They said the reservation would cost an additional $60, but in all actuality they charged me $303. Filing a dispute with my bank because the car was turned in and signed off for without any damages, full tank of gas, and in perfect condition.Reviewed 29 Mar 2021
