Everything was wonderful and the price was also great
When most lower rated hotels would offer a free breakfast we found few amenities. Very disappointed that even the popcorn was overpriced at $3 a bag -should have been free. Other than that the view was beautiful and a nice pool.
It was very clean and staff was very helpful and nice The pool had way too much chlorine all the kids were coughing and their eyes were burning but the area was very clean.
The outdoor area around the hotel and the pool. Of course the cookies were fantastic!
I loved how safe and welcoming The Park Vista is. The family pool area was outstanding! Enjoyed! Ate dinner downstairs at the onsite dining area. Didn't care for the Greek Chicken w/Couscous. Very dry
Property is worn out and looks decades old in style. Just a very outdated atmosphere. Room did not get cleaned one day. Maid went in took his/her tip, barely took the trash out, and left everything as she/he found it.
The overall stay was great The staff could be better
We were told we would have two queen sized beds and received two full size beds. For paying as much as we did, not a very nice room at all.
Great view of Mount Le Conte. Above, and away from all the activity in Gatlinburg. Very friendly, and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. The restaurant was very nice; good service, good food. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. And the cookies at the front desk! We stayed for a week, most people/families don't, which means that there are a lot of rooms to turn over every day. House keeping has more than they can handle, and on two occasions our room was not cleaned until 5:00 P.M. Check in appears to take a while (that wasn't the case for us), not sure why.
Pool and lounge facilities were top notch. Beautiful building. Amazing view. Because of the view though, you end up quite a ways outside of Gatlinburg proper. Also the bed was akin to a hammock, which my back objected to
Everything we expected and then some. Staff was courteous, and rooms were quiet. Can't wait to come back again.
Convenience to downtown attractions Great Views Price too high for a hotel with only 1 functional pool, old dirty rooms, no breakfast options.
We liked the location. It was within walking distance to almost everything. Loved to restaurant and the outdoor eating by the river. Service was poor but the atmosphere was worth it. Room was clean and spacious. Great view of the mountains. I would return again even though the pool was a disappointment. The pool was so dirty that we couldn't even swim in it. My granddaughter threw a swim stick in and we couldn't even find it. At night when the pool lights were shining, you could see bits of white floating all over.
Location is great, just a block away from the strip. Walking distance to everything. Sheets and towels were clean. Extremely outdated. I'm sure this hotel was very nice in 1980 but not much has changed since then. TV is the only update. Place looks dirty just from years and years of use. The room smelled like a dead animal. Smell was coming from the refrigerator. We only stayed two nights so we just toughed it out. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
Nice Location Quiet Pretty view Value for the money A little dated Pillows were flat
Great place to stay for biz, fam, quiet get away or even younger groups for folks. Several buildings on property and they grouped everyone well. Kayak by far had the best rate! I usually use Booking but they weren't the lowest this time. The others didn't even have availability listed. The pool was shut down due to repairs, but it just looked temporary. Also, the Drafts sports bar on the property had weird hours and just kinda strange folks working there.
Location was good ,priced ok, Breakfast plain oatmeal ,zero fruit, worst I have seen ,usually have eggs and more choices
We liked that it was so close to everything because we liked to walk. we really loved the ducks but couldn't figure out what happened to the baby ducks disappearing everyday The parking garage was way to tight. We could barely squeeze in there. then on the outside parking we found a spot but someone decided to take over both spots
We needed extra linen for my mother-in-law. She caked to the front desk for some and am employee arrived with some within 5 minutes of her hanging up. Check-in isn't until 4 and check out is at 10. I have checked into a lot of hotels before and they've been busy at times, but the wait to check in here was unbelievable. I think it took about 15-20 minutes to finally get to the desk and walk out with keys. We had the pleasure of leaving just before 10 and noticed the housekeeping didn't have any new linen on their carts. Maybe there is a separate one that comes through but we were under the assumption that the sheets aren't changed after each stay.
Good location, nice views Rooms looking run-down, bathtub has been painted. $170 non-refundable pet charge is ridiculous for a 2 night stay.
This place is right next to the aquarium and right in town in Gatlinburg so it's an easy walk to everything. You do get a fairly good view either of the water or an overview of the city. The rooms are a bit outdated. My coffee wasn't replenished everyday
The resort is pretty and is in a great location for walking to the strip on Gatlinburg. Perfect for us wanting to walk around and not have to venture too far away. For the price I couldn't complain. The room wasn't as clean as I hoped. The floor was a little sticky. We also had made reservations for two double beds but only had a single king bed when we got there. I called the front desk about it and they said they were booked, sorry about our luck basically.
Easily walkable to downtown Gatlinburg and the mountain views were incredible. Didn't spend much time in the room so these pluses made up for the hotels short comings. The furniture was old. The carpet should be replaced. The stains on the chairs were unsettling. The entire bathroom needed refurbished 15 years ago. How is it possible that in 2016 there was a tube TV in my room?
The location is awesome...within walking distance of everything, but off the parkway. We had a ground floor room with parking right in front of the door. The staff was The shower didn't work very well and one of the mattresses was a bit past its prime.
A lot of character and great location. Wifi was not great at staying connected in the room. Pillows left a LOT to be desired (flat and floppy) and the mattress has seen better days.
It was in a great location and it had very comfortable beds
Location was very good just a short walk to the strip didn't have to pay to park
It was an older hotel. It was well kept and clean. No.
This hotel is charming. I loved having a fireplace in the room. The beds were comfortable. The location was great!!! The bathroom could use some updating, and the 'free' breakfast is lacking. Very limited. Only offered bagels or donuts or 2 cereals. that's it. We had to go somewhere else.
Perfect location, clean, excellent staff and all amenities function well.
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
It was inexpensive and a good location for accessing downtown. The bathroom was old & cracked. The room was 'creek side' but balcony

Locationcould Could have a better breakfast
the staff was very responsive and went out of their way to help
The staff and accommodations were excellent. I think for the cost to stay there, the water park and other amenities should be included.
Not much No TV ...had to wait 20 mins for shuttle to come when they had 50 golf carts with 6 seats in them pass you by no parking there should be at least 1 parking space per room or villa for 500 for 2 nights water park should be included not an extra 82 dollars next time we will stay at Wilderness of the Smokies
The scenery near the resort The rooms, the prices. For a resort, you would assume that at least WIFI was inclusive in the room charge. Nope, it was not. They also try to get you to think that you won something at checking. It was thein 4 hr "come see why it's so good to be an owner" routine. That was the only time any kind of complimentary breakfast was mentioned!
Property is well maintained and the staff are very courteous. Plenty of onsite activities every day to keep you busy. Minutes away from Gaylinburg and Pidgeon Forge
The room and view were great. Website was not clear about extra charge for pets. It states pets are welcome and there was an additional charge but no amount listed. I was expecting an extra $20 charge or so and was completely SHOCKED when at check in they told me it would be $170!!! I would not have booked the room had I known this especially since the rate for the room itself was only $109! Completely ridiculous charge.
Service and beauty of resort and water park. great staff from check in to bellboy all the way to room. Nothing..
Parking sucked. They will try to have you tour for discounted attractions-- seemed like a good idea but there 90 minute tour with a free breakfast turned out to be over 5 hours of salesmen in your face trying to sell you a timeshare. They waisted one whole day for our weekend vacation. I would much rather pay for the attraction then lose time with them trying to sell me a timeshare for that amount of time. Not upfront or honest. And the great breakfast you get for touring was terrible.
Staff was courteous and friendly, the room had every thing you could possibly need I couldn't believe it was a studio room. That I couldn't stay longer.
The mountains Air conditioner broke two times spilling water on the floor, and they never brought us toilet paper after two days of calling.
Rooms were nice and clean. Main attraction at the waterpark was closed. The playground was also closed. We have two young children and we wanted to stay here because of the amenities but because they were closed we had to search out other things to do.
You can walk to everything in gatlinburg. It's a perfect place to stay if you don't need a very romantic get away. The refrigerator made a noise all night. The heater was either burning hot or off which made it a icebox.
The hotel was pretty clean. The location to downtown Gatlinburg was fantastic. The continental breakfast was more than the cereal and muffins that you get in other places. The staff was as helpful as they were allowed to be. The bathroom was tiny and crowded as was the room. The walls were so thin that we could hear the phone conversation of the man in the next room as well as the female that was on the other end of the phone line. The "Mountain-side View" that we were supposed to have was the employee parking lot and a steep hill with a lot of trash and debris on it. The Kayak website leads you to believe that you can get a Smoking room, but you are not allowed to even smoke on the balconies of these rooms as it is a "No Smoking on the Grounds" property.
Breakfast was delicious with many options. Staff was great and had toothpaste (which I forgot). Fantastic location. Less than a five minute walk to the aquarium and the strip is one block over with easy access. The hotel is on a very quiet street and there is a really nice sitting area down by the river. The only complaints I have are minor. The parking garage has some weird parts to it. It's clearly conformed to the mountain behind the hotel. Also the lamps between the beds didn't work, but the staff probably would have fixed it if I had let them know. Also there were plenty of other lights in the room.
Room was ok. Location was great. They turned the room right next to ours into a party room for the Elk Convention and it went 24/7. When I complained I was told "oh you booked with kayak.com, you'll have to take that up with them....". I think someone realized that mistake and tried to put me in another room but by then they showed how they felt about online customers. Plus, they don't give the premium rooms to online bookings. They told me that. You'll be facing the hill in the back with a poor view. You cannot get the nice view online. I'll never be back to that place!
location to everything was good. room was clean. no coffee packs in room, shower had slow drip, balcony overlooked the roof to the pool and hot tub
I looked for a cheap place to stay, and that's what this is. Not the Ritz, but when you want cheap, what do you expect? We slept, there was a fridge, hot water, towels. We survived. :) It's located within walking distance of downtown Gatlinburg, and that's pretty much what I wanted. No ventilation in bathroom makes for a very steamy shower (and very quiet bowel relieving process, if you get my drift.) The sink was sorta falling off the wall. Ordered a king bed, got two queens. (Not end of the world, just use one for recreation and one for sleeping!)
It had a fireplace. White stuff on the curtains, holes in curtains, not enough parking spaces, there were spaces taken up by debris and those that weren't guests. We had make our own parking space. Old mattresses and chair were in the parking lot. All I could think was, "I hope they don't plan on taking those mattresses back in."
Staff was nice, pool was enjoyable for my kids, and location was very convenient The room was rough. It had outlets that were hanging out of the wall that we could shake and cause the lights to flicker. The bathroom tub was cracked and chipped. The beds were very hard and none of my family of 4 got much sleep on them. The "breakfast area" was the size of a walk in closet with several waffle irons and toasters which made it too hot to go in, and the couple of tables they had were always full so my family never had a place to sit.
The location was phenomenal. Walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg was great., There were crumbs and sticky food stuck in the carpet. The bed was very old and well used and without even laying on it you could see there was a big hole in the middle of it.,There were crumbs and sticky food stuck in the carpet. The bed was very old and well used
It was close to town. The beds were very uncomfortable, bathroom was in bad shape, plugs didn't work and the room had a bad oder.
not one thing no shower no wifi no breakfist poor help the wrost motel ever
Room was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was within walking distance of where we wanted to go.
The location was within walking distance of downtown Gatlinburg. The cleanliness of the room could have been better.
The girls at the counter we nice and helpful. The view and location was great. It was quiet. It was good for us as we were not around all day as we only slept there mostly. The pool is nice. The breakfast was boring. I bought eggs and meat and made them in the microwave every morning to give us more for day. They are renovating so I'm sure it will be nicer when it's done. The wifi was awful I had to go to the front desk area to to use it. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay it's fine but if you are hanging around then upgrade to a better place. There is no coffee maker or microwave in rooms only a fridge.
Price was good, everything in the room worked as it should, and there was a fridge. I think there was a booger on the shower curtain, which was a little gross. The hotel is obviously dated, but for $50 I wasn't exactly expecting the Hilton.
Price was right Rooms smelled musty and old
Our stay was great. We would definitely stay again. Rooms were very nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Pool area was great as well. Best thing was it's location to downtown we were able to walk every where just about. Only complaint would be that their towels were to small.
The location and the indoor pool were great. Our room was very small and smelled like mildew/mold. The hotel is very outdated and not very clean. The Wifi did not work most of the time and the shower water kept going from scalding hot to cold without touching anything. We also were put in a "pet friendly" room, which I would NEVER stay in again. If I had known that part of the hotel was "pet friendly" I would have never booked there. We will never stay at this hotel again.
it reminded me of Gatlinburg when I was growing up. Simple, clean motel. Off the parkway so it was nice and quiet, but still just a short walk to the main drag. AMAZING pool!!! Unbeatable price, and super friendly staff. We will be back!
After reading some reviews after booking our stay I was worried... we arrived & the staff was very friendly, rooms were clean, a/c worked great, ice machines worked. I found no merit to some concerns addressed in others reviews. Yes this is a older motel but not rundown & I would stay again. We were courtside (across the street) & it was very peaceful. Nothing
Great staff, very friendly. The staff were the highlight of this experience. The rooms were average with the standard motel options. Location was close enough that you could walk to the main attractions. For the price it was worth it. The Wi-Fi only worked at the main building and a bit beyond. Did not see any breakfast options available but a fantastic pancake house was nearby. Bathrooms needed updated.
The pools Parking needs some work
Absolute amazing staff! Great location. Couldn't ask for a better place!
Rate and location N/A
The staff is amazing especially Lee. He made us feel at home. Too many children screaming.
There were roaches in room. Staff was nice but we won't stay there again.
We enjoyed the following... Big, warm indoor pool Creek directly under room balcony Comfortable beds Friendly staff Location On-site breakfast Quiet rooms Bathrooms could use a few updates. It was also a cold walk outside from the indoor pool to our room but that's just part of being an older/motel-style establishment.
The cleaning staff was very nice and the riverfront was a plus. There were ants in our room. The minifridge became unplugged sometime when we were asleep the first night and ruined our food in the fridge. When you entered the room the smell was unpleasant and somewhat over powering, took a while to adjust to it.
Upgraded room for no extra charge and the suite was quiet, comfortable and clean Pool area needs upgrade and was glad to see its in the plans for the coming year There were no towel racks in the bathroom and the water never got hot.
Pool was very nice Beds are very uncomfortable. Our room balcony was in the pool area and it was at least a 100°+ when you walked up to go to our room. I just believe you should know that. And the pictures looked a whole lot nicer to me.
The website says the hotel is 2 blocks from the strip but that is still .4 miles. It's a lot further than the website made it seem. We received an earlier morning wake up call both days that we DID NOT request. But the worst was the water temperature in the shower. It would get scalding hot with no notice. I let management know when we checked out but he didn't seem very concerned. Wouldn't stay there again.
The rooms were sizeable, the water was hot, the location is great whether you're checking out Gatlinburg's tourist district or catching the trolley to Dollywood. Although we didn't go for a swim, the indoor pool looks amazing and I'm sure it's fun regardless of the season. I did note plenty of young families enjoying it while we were there and the air doesn't overwhelm with chlorine. We arrived late at night, after 2am, and there was no one at the check in counter, only a sign saying "be back soon". After sitting in the lobby for more than half an hour whole the security guard stated at me and at his phone, a desk clerk finally arrived to check us in. Parking was limited, but they were accommodating by basically not enforcing any parking rules as long as we were not blocking someone in. They put us in a handicap room, which wasn't a problem in itself, but the bathroom door slides open and shut for ease of access and unfortunately it wasn't well oiled so we weren't able to ever fully open or close the door. I did report the problem, but don't know if it was ever fixed as we were only there 2 nights.
Location was good, just a short walk down the road and you were in downtown Gatlinburg and close to any activity you wanted to do. Staff was nice. Hotel is a little dated but overall is a nice place to stay. Pool area and hallways were hot.
Great location to downtown Gatlinburg, the staff were friendly and helpful It is no fault to the people that work there, but the building itself is in need of some TLC. You can tell that is what they are working on, but I couldn't help but notice
No coffee in lobby
The room was comfortable and felt roomy, the location was close to the strip and a lot of parking. There were a few things broken in the room, the walls are thin, and the pool shouldn't close so early or should have an adults only time. The children spoil the trips
The location was the center of downtown Gatlinburg. Would have been a great proximity if we had stayed. The second you walk in the room, we opted for the poolside option as we were planning to spend time in the pool with our two small children, all you could smell was chlorine, not to mention the room was about 87 degrees when we first walked in. While looking around our room, we found lots of great treasures, old Broken Oreos in the carpet (carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in about a month) , the bathroom was disgusting you had to hover above the toilet, the shower curtain had something streaked down it, looked like makeup maybe?? Who knows. There was brown matter streaked on the wall I could take a guess on what it was. It looked like feces. The tv kept cutting in and out with sound and picture so that was a no go when my 3 year old asked to watch cartoons before bed. We decided to check out the beds to see what they were like since the rest of the room was absolutely disgusting. On one of the blankets there was red lipstick. And on the sheets there were big black hair. In more spot than one. So I'm guessing the sheets hadn't even been changed? Needless to say we grabbed our bags and our two small children and got the heck out of there, we didn't even stay the night. Then the whole trip was spent attempting to get our refund back as we ended up having to spend money on a different hotel for our trip. And then they tried to tell us that we had to pay for the first night even though we didn't stay. We will not be back. Waste of money and time out of our trip.
The staff were very accomidating The bed was uncomfortable, bathroom was the size of a closet, tub very slippery (not good for someone with recent back and shoulder surgery) room would not stay constant temp. Floor in bathroom very slick when wet. Shower didn't have an anti-scald feature. Overall not a pleasant place to stay for our anniversary weekend.
Service was good rooms clean for the price it was good Dint like they have sing saying no dogs but yet the have Dogs on property they gave a room next to the one I had with a barking dog not good.
Beds slept pretty well. The chimney had a strong odor. It overtook the room at times. We had to check out early and none of the staff members knew what to do.
Great location, price and most of all, there were not any bugs. That's the first thing I check for. The gentleman at the front desk was super nice and the breakfast was okay, pretty much the same as every other hotel. Breakfast/check in area was clean & nice to sit in. They have a great spot to sit around a contained fire and look at the beautiful river at night. The carpet was torn and a bit dirty, and the couch was dirty and worn. It definitely could use updates, but then they would probably charge more...
The only good thing was location, as its right when you get into Gatlinburg from the north. Everything about the room was bad, the comforter was as thin as a sheet there was a stain on the actual sheet. The bathroom was so small you were sitting against the wall. Add in the fact of water stains and worn out wood trim we felt like this was an extended stay motel or something. It will never be worth the price, it needs remodeling oh and as you sleep on the first level any and all plumbing above you, you get to hear all night. As for a Days Inn this might be my worst experience ever.
The view of the river The lack of staff help, leaking toilet, lack of heat & the old decor. The staff didn't answer the phone most times.
My wife and I had a room with a private balcony overlooking a small river. We were there to see the smokey mountains in fall and liked that this hotel was close to everything. Saw they had a nice sized pool but it was outdoors and a bit too cool for two people straight out of Florida. Didn't have any complaints.
The bed was rather hard. I had to wait while they cleaned my room even though it was after check in time.
price and location. facility needs update.
We enjoyed the location to download Gatlinburg and scenic view of river from balcony. Walking distance to our favorite place to visit - Hillbilly Golf - was great, but also great walking distance to download Gatlinburg since it was extremely busy during the weekend we stayed. Satisfied.
I liked to see they are finally fixing up the bathrooms. They keep the outside and landscape very nice. They could use some new towels. Some are extremely used and worn out. They could also scrub the bottom of the tubs to get the black off. But I find that in most hotels. And could use new toilet seats.
I can't tell you what I liked because when we arrived two hours behind schedule due to car trouble, the office was CLOSED. We tried to call but got No answer. I checked their rules about check in and didn't see where we had to be there before 11pm. We were considered a no show, didn't even stay there, but they kept my money! So very glad we missed this location, because we were made to search elsewhere for a place to stay and we found our forever place to stay. Edgewater is the best. So I guess the best part of this situation is we found a MUCH nicer place to stay for $10.00 more and the place was perfect for us. Loved Edgewater. I didn't like the fact that they kept our money and wouldn't reimburse us because their lobby closed at 11pm. NEVER will I stay at another Days Inn for as long as I live. If they allow people like this to run their hotel, then I have NO interest in ever being a customer of theirs ever again.
When we complained about waking up in bugs and the water leak in the bathroom, the GM was kind and started a full refund process. Waking up with bugs in the bed.
The only room left on Kayak under $200/night. I now know why. The room smelled, was tiny, had ants, shoddy repairs, mold on the bathroom ceiling, loose fixtures. I could keep going. We left a night early and ate the final night's cost.
the location is great, too bad the property is in such badly needed repair. Beds were horrible and uncomfortable. Old building and mold in the bathroom. I would not stay in this location again and will tell everyone Do Not Stay at this hotel, it is not a good reflection of your brand for Value and Quality. This property should have their franchise pulled until they can meet the higher standards of cleanliness and upgrade the facility. Paint alone does not account for upgrade
Clean rooms. Efficient check-in. Ample parking. Good location. Good staff. Thin walls. Holes in wall where headboards were previously attached. Minor water damage on ceiling in bathroom.
staff very nice, professional, helpful, n friendly. good housekeepers. nice continental breakfast. hotel is clean. nice mattresses and pillows. have been here before and will definitely come again. the carpet had been recently cleaned in our room, must have used too much water, there was a very very musty almost moldy smell in the room. the fire alarm went off, we all evacuated, no fire dept showed up, no staff showed up, we just went back in when the alarm went off.
Decent options for breakfast. Friendly front desk. Location allows you to walk down the main strip.
Everything was great except a very small toilet.
price pictures are misleading , slump in bed, tube tv, dated rooms
Balconies overlooking stream Parking
Location on river. Private balcony Pool falling apart. closed hot tub. Place needs a makeover
Not one of the newest but it was definitely clean and the staff was very friendly. I would stay again. Great location over the river.
The room was extremely clean and well maintained. The views were gorgeous.
The view is great and its in good walking distances for down town Gatlinburg. The place wasn't like its pictures, Room was really outdated, No privacy on the patio. Bathtub seemed to need replaced. I called like 3 months ahead of time to make sure I got a room and I ask for two beds and they gave me a room with one bed. I won't stay there again.
The only honest thing about this "inn" (please read as motel), was that it overlooked the water. It actually looks out over the water. The small picture I see of a large place overlooking the water with trees between it and the water is inaccurate. It is the smaller, more run-down building further down on the left of the river. It is not the larger, nicer-looking building on the right. Do not be deceived. When I arrived, the door between my room and the adjoining room was unlocked (one of two such doors), the shower curtain was missing, the back sliding door was unlocked, and one of the doors on the balcony (between adjoining balconies) didn't even latch properly. The bathroom smelled of recent use and the fan/light were running. I was able to remedy the shower curtain issue. The rest of my issues were compounded when I saw strong winds rip a door off one of the balcony dividers the next day. The place overhangs the water and has stress fractures in the ceilings of all rooms (possibly as a result). It is run down, in poor repair, and the styling and layout (not to mention the furniture and appliances, are all at least 20 years old as far as I can tell. One of the dressers no longer properly lined up when all drawers were slid in. Finally, the parking was atrocious, with thick bricked columns framing the excessively tight parking spaces in the too-narrow parking lot the building had. All in all, a poor value for the type of stay you're given and too far from the attractions to be worth staying there unless you wish to pay from $2.00 per hour to $10.00 per instance for parking. I am exceedingly unimpressed with this location.
The hotel was good and the rooms were very inexpensive. The staff was nice. We requested adjoining rooms for our kids and had no problem getting our request accommodated. Our room was large and both rooms were clean. We were not expecting a luxury hotel and for the price we were very happy with our rooms. The hotel is farther down the main road but their is a trolley right outside that took us up for 50 cents per person. Definitely an economical and pleasant experience, which left us with more money to do fun things with our kids.
Going up to gatlinburg for a girls weekend in October was a bit crazy as the whole place was packed. But this hotel more than made up for the craziness. When you first hear motor lodge inn you think "um can this be any more dated?" But the rooms were thoughtfully updated and the rooms balcony hangs over the river so you get into how nice the place is really quickly. The toilet was really low and we made the trip way too short
Seeing the river from the balcony Ajoining rooms and no privacy on balcony because the people on the other side could open the door and see what was going on. I felt unsafe cause there was 3 access doors where someone could break into the room. Pictures on the Internet are nothing like it in person. Needs serious updating, besides the sink area. I felt nasty the whole 8 hours I was there. Parking area is horrible for big size cars. I wasnt able to open the car door all the way to get my things because of another car inches away. It was not worth the 58$ I paid. Don't book over the Internet cause they have the say so if you can check out or not!! It was my husband's first time in Gatlinburg and the hotel was a disgrace. I felt ashamed for booking this hotel once I saw it for myself.
While this is an older hotel it was perfect for a nights stay. We were stopping in Gatlinburg for a night and we just wanted a room close to the main street. The hotel was about a block from the restaurants and shops. It was clean and had a refrigerator and microwave which was all we really needed. The bed was ok and it was quiet. Would've preferred a room with a king bed but that wasn't available. Which isn't the fault of the hotel. Parking was easy. The only thing I would say could've been a problem is that the room we were in was in a separate building from the main desk so it wasn't convenient to go to the front desk if we needed anything. Check in was fast and the gentleman working as very nice.
The hotel was ok. It was located in a perfect spot. It was close to the park and right by the Main Street through Gatlinburg. The room was comfortable and clean. We had a balcony which was nice but the view was of a parking lot. This is a good hotel if you don't plan to vacation at the hotel. We used it to sleep and spent the days at the park so it was perfect for us. Free breakfast was a plus but you got to get there early being that the dinning area is so small. I will stay here again. The room and hotel were very basic and small. dinning area is very small so getting to the breakfast area early is a must. Hotel is a bit dated also. Nothing major is wrong with any of this and I would stay here again.
We won't stay here again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1. The ceiling light flickered, staff could not find a light bulb. So we left the tv on all night so we could see if we got up during the night. The micowave didn't work. The alarm clock didn't work. We had a wake up call for 6am, didn't get a call and that caused us to miss our son's wedding( (10/10/10 at 9am) we made the brunch afterwards though. The rooms really need to be remodled,
convienent to gatlinburg. the pool was awful. no floats for the so called lazy river. rooms were nasty. breakfast was not very good either
The location. We had 2 rooms, neither room received the wake up call we had asked for....we missed the sunrise wedding of our son due to oversleeping. The hotel manager was rude and didn't seem to care about our situation when we spoke with him. He credited us 20.00 per room, which is completely unsatisfactory due to the fact we missed the wedding at 7:30 am.
Room was clean and neat. Nothing too fancy but perfect location and fine for a weekend getaway Really wasn't much I could think we didn't like. Parking maybe could be more desirable
location close to everything with a shuttle stop just steps away very clean pool and hot tub and the staff where very good
I did not like that upon entry to the Bathroom, it was dirty. The toliet was filty, the bathtub had a gray ring around the tub, this was the first night. I did report this incidence and they sent someone to clean the bathroom. Also, please update the television, as their was not a connection for my son to play his Playstation 3. The Contiential Breakfast, need a better selection. The fruit was only Apples, their were no meat.
Staff was friendly and very helpful. Facility was clean. Located within <5 minute walk of downtown. Probably deserves 5 stars but I need a lasting impression for that.
Close to everything Price for location Mostly very clean The last 2 mornings of our stay they were doing some remodeling 2 doors down from our room at 8:15 in the morning. Im talking pounding, hammering, sawing, buzzing and tile break at 8:15 in the morning. I asked the woman at the front desk and she insisted they werent remodeling near my room. The towels suck. Mold above the shower
The location was really great, if you were coming from the GSNP take the bypass and you were there. If your coming from PF, it's right as you come into town; very convenient to everything. The trolley stops there, so you don't have to drive into Gatlinburg. The rooms we clean and the whole staff was first rate. They actually had the best continental breakfast I've ever had, PLENTY of variety. Our daughter made a lot of new friends at the pool/slide. The only thing that I didn't like was that the elevator made some popping noises. I'm not used to an elevator making any noises at all. We took the stairs, mostly out convenience and the fact that the elevator took forever.
Check in was delayed due to rooms not being cleaned. Staff was not friendly and didn't make us feel welcomed.
Everything was great. Staff was friendly, nice comfortable king bed and the parking lot was great for people traveling with a truck and trailer. The laundry facility had 2 washers and 2 dryers very reasonable on doing a load. There was nothing that was disappointing at all. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The location was great for our trip. The hotel was nice and reasonably quiet. The buffet style breakfast was nice compared to others. Overall it was decent.
Very nice maintenance! Hot breakfast Clean pool area Front desk associates not very friendly and not much knowledge about things!
The location was perfect and right in the middle of the parkway. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The in room safe needed new batteries when we got there and maintenance was there within five minutes of us calling to provide replacements. The air didn't circulate the best, so those farthest from the AC unit got a little warm at night and those closest were a little chilly.
Very weak wifi in our room, same exact hot breakfast for 4 mornings in a row, could hear every noise from the hall, candy and wrapper left behind from previous guests, and light filled our room from around the door coming in from the hall.
Nice job on breakfast
The hotel's location. The beds were a bit hard. Both my daughter and I had trouble sleeping. Also, the indoor pool was small. Bigger kids were jumping in, rough housing. I think it should be monitored.
Very clean. Breakfast room was crowded. We had to request our towels everyday which should have been automatic I felt. All in all we were very happy with our stay. My really! Very clean and neat. Staff was always happy to help but at peak times could have used an extra hand.
The breakfast. Housekeeping was lousy.
