Top tips for finding a cheap flight from Dublin to Mauritius

  • Dublin Airport (DUB) serves as the main departure airport for flights from Dublin to Mauritius, while Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport ((MRU) and Sir Gaëtan Duval Airport (RRG) are the arrival airport. The most affordable means of transport for those connecting to DUB from downtown Dublin is public buses. However, taxis offer the fastest means of transport and are ideal for those rushing against time.
  • Most of those traveling to Mauritius from Dublin prefer landing at MRU. Therefore, the number of daily flights arriving at MRU is higher than the number of those arriving at RRG. However, the advantage of landing at RRG is that you will have greater convenience accessing your luggage and clearing at security before getting out of the airport. Since the airport receives lesser flights per day than MRU, there are always shorter queues at the baggage claim area and security checkpoints.
  • Travelers from Dublin landing at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport have several transport options when connecting to the city center or any other preferred destinations. For those heading to the city center or their booked hotels with Plaine Magnien, airport shuttles and taxis are the most suitable options. However, the queues at the airport shuttle stops can be long and inconvenient, in which case car hireals become a better option.

Emirates need to improve the boarding process. There is no point calling for all First and Business Class passengers plus Platinum, Gold and Silver Skywards members at one time. Further to this, try channeling all these people into one entry point with no defined lines. It was chaos. The is a common issue on the Dubai to Riyadh flight. Poor effort Emirates.

Premium Economy was not up to my expectation relaxation wise. The chair doesn’t extend enough. It is not economy but not spacious enough to relax and sleep. Food and services were excellent but I am not very keen about food in general.

Everything was great but the food portions and quality was awful

Everything I was good except food quality is very poor

Overall I was quite pleased with the experience; the cleanliness; the polite and attentiveness of the cabin crew; and the delicious food options.

Ove the A380 planes. Comfortable seats. Served great Indian food and Masala Chai!

It was great, a little more leg room would have been better particularly since we were in premium economy

Comfort poor, little leg room, cabin temperature too hot. No free entertainment. No complementary drinks. Overal experience poor and would not travel with them again.

Good food, real silverware, polite staff, smooth landing, charging plugs, good entertainment options.

Seat 💺 was all the way on last row. Food was okay .

The food was great and the service and attitude was amazing!!

It was a great experience. The only thing I would have changed was that the bathrooms were never cleaned and they got very dirty.

Old airplanes small seats expensive tickets, not as expected overall and not comfortable according to the price

It was an OK flight with below mediocre service by their flight attendants

Wasted a lot of time trying to find the CDG lounge - it was not next to the connecting flight gate like the Air France staff said.

My experience was good overall, the quality of the food really decreased! There used to be a choice between meat and fish now it’s between chicken and pasta! In the choices of entertainment meditation has been added which is very good. Soft chair workout to improve blood circulation and avoid phlebitis should be added.

The only reason the overall rating wasn't "excellent" was due to problems in claiming luggage. The bags are delivered to the main area (Cinta 35) for domestic passengers, but to a DIFFERENT ROOM for international arrivees. After waiting 30 minutes, someone (who didn't appear to be from Air France or the airport) told us to go to another area. There we found our bags, which appeared to have been awaiting us for a while. We had to go through a bag check before leaving the airport. If we had been alerted to this possibility, or better yet, been to go directly to Cinta 34, we could have eliminated quite a bit of waiting.

I wish that the meal included a vegetable or even a salad instead of couscous! Why serve chicken with rice AND couscous? Service was good overall though a bit lacking in friendliness. Usually on air france I've been offered a glass of champagne before dinner, wine with dinner, and a digestif after dinner. We were only offered wine this time!

It was not Air France but Air Europa. But confusion over our checked luggage. Whether it was checked all the way to Tenerife or not. It was not. Had to line up again in Departures. At least our Sky Priority was honoured. Flight was fine.

My wife and I had a row to ourselves after moving seats. There were no TVs and you had to buy food. So we did nothing but had a quick nap. Flight was fine.

Overall great airline that still provides two suitcases, has a huge hub and crew goes above and beyond to assist you. Boarding took a lot of time as there were only 2 people checking in. Also, in Istanbul, taxing took almost 30 min.

The security at the airport was excellent. The one criticism is the boarding process just before entering the plane. There were only 2 boarding lines and there were no barriers thus leading to a mass rush to enter the plane. I suggest that they board by rows, eight or ten rows at a time to prevent the mass rush to enter the plane. Otherwise, I would highly recommend Turkish Airlines

Turkish airlines have improved a lot, please keep up the good work.

for the second time disappointed with TK, they like JAT = joke about time

No customer service. Non educated staff members with no will to support or service the passenger.

All was fine , but air conditioning was not working on board properly so was very hot

Unbelievable food and service! Chefs are amazing onboard. WiFi spotty

they have cancell the flight for no reasons and 24 hours my parents were in the Airport they did not give them any hotel any food, I hate Turkish Airline.

Seat changes at the last minute Horrible checkin process Sad to see excellent airport with very poor service

One of the worst check in process at the DIA as well as the boarding counter Changed seat at the last minute and assigned middle seat while I paid for window seat. Requested many times but to no avail . horrible customer service and very poor process Requesting refund for seat that was changed last minute

A good flight back to Tampa and thankfully although we had a 90 minute delay because of thunder storms from Charlotte to bottom iof Florida, it was a prudent to avoid these for a comfortable flight as opposed to being tossed around with turbulence.

For some reason they didn’t give me a seat and said I was on standby and to stay by the gate till I was assigned a seat then right before boarding I got a seat I got to my destination and no luggage

Very bad because flight was cancelled and they never informed me i have to wait for three days in hotel to get another flight

The check-in of my luggage was terrible. When purchased my tickets, one luggage and one carry-on was part of the fight. My flight was switched from British to American Airline. During check-in of luggage at the airport, I was denied and had to pay extra $75. How do I get reimbursed for this extra luggage payment?

The boarding call announcements versus the Staff announcements versus the digital signage board on the out-going and returning flights WERE NOT IN SYNC. I was sent through check and re-checks 3 times. WHY?

Paid $180 for seat selection, and selection essnt honored. Have to call for a refund.

I thought we were screwed having to pay an additional $300 to pick our seats. My wife and I think it’s important to sit together on long flights and British Airlines use’s that against us charging over $300 on top of an already high fares. In the future, I’ll try to avoid using British Airlines, and KAYAK and stick to American or United.

With three empty seats across the aisle from me I politely asked the crew if I could sit in one of those seats. They initially told me I couldn't do it for my safety. When I pressed them again they blamed the captain. So which was it? I didn't appreciate either nonsense explanation simply because they didn't want to honor my request.

Great room between the seats, food was excellent, very comfortable overall and could have stayed on the plane even longer

Flight delayed in terms of boarding and Kayak was great in updating but the team on the groping at British Airways were really poor
