Cons: "I was asked to check my carry-on. I have used this carry-on more than 50x without an issue. I have even put it in the smaller compartments on smaller Bombardier jets. I don't have an issue with being asked to check luggage, but I resent being asked when others are allowed to take their carry-on onto to the plane without issue. Right in front of me while I was waiting for a baggage tag, others were being checked in with carry-on equal to mine and allowed to take it onto the plane. I can only surmise that my ticket limited me to one bag onto the plane, although they would not tell me this. This was not clear when I booked the ticket nor when I checked in on-line. I had a 40 minute connection in Zurich so was very concerned that my luggage would not make it. Luckily, it did make it to my next stop. Swiss Air seems to have different restrictions than other airlines which I have encountered before. I take ownership that I should be aware of a tickets restrictions but this was a multi-leg trip (5). However, I will tend to avoid Swiss air in the future, to avoid having to research their unique restrictions."

My dinner (one of three food services) consisted of chicken, potatoes, steamed broccoli, salad, a dinner roll with butter, gruyere, and a strawberry tart... included cream and sugar signaled an inevitable coffee service. This was accompanied by complimentary wine and sparkling water, and heavy-weight stainless cutlery. The seat reclination was good, and the in-flight entertainment was a cut above. Coming off many Frontier flights with pay-for-beverage service, no leg-room, and un-reclining seats, it was about as good as coach can get. I'm actually looking at SWISS routes first before I plan my next vacation."

Coming back to Newark the gentleman behind my boyfriend made a comment how he didn't have room due to his seat being reclined. The passenger next to us was arguing with the passenger in front of her because she didn't want that person to recline their seat back. I have never experienced such rude people on a flight and I realize this is beyond your control. It made for a very uncomfortable and stressful flight. Maybe signs can be posted or a message when booking your flight that ALL passengers have a right to recline seats and if space is an issue for your comfort then upgrade to business class for more room."

Cons: "Disaster started at noon of the day of flight. Got notification flight delayed by 2 hours. That means I miss my coonection. Options for changes meant getting to destination 24 hours a later or with extra stop. I managed to buy a much better direct flight same day from different airline. And cheaper. I was so lucky. Getting refund for this disaster itinerary. But it worked out in the end."
Cons: "I actually tried to cancel this flight 5 hours after booking it and was not able to. I wanted to book something before prices changed and was not able to go. When trying to cancel I was hung up or disconnected from 6 times. Each time calling back with 10-15 of wait time. Finally got through and was told it's non refundable. Why kayak even deals with companies like this I have no idea. I finally cancelled and I'm still getting emails aasking how my flight was."

Cons: "7:50 am flight, arrived EZE 5 am as instructed, boarded plane at 10:40 am, missed connecting flight and spent 14 hours in Lima, shuttled off to a hotel 1-1/2 away, for a 2am flight. Arrived next day in LA and missed shuttle. Both legs very poor service on and off airplane, added security for having to enter Peru complicated and delayed things further. LAN used to be the best to SA, LATAM is the worst, never again."

Cons: "On a 10 hour flight (LAX to Santiago Chile) they should offer more snacks and drinks for people to help themselves to in economy class. Other airlines have water and juice available I felt like I was bothering a crew member every time asked for a glass of water, when I could have just helped myself. Also, maybe have a few light snacks available. After a very light lunch, 8 and a half hours is a very long wait till breakfast!"

Pros: "Flight schedule, inflight service and food in couch was amazingly the best I had in a long time. The entertainment was delightful. The telephone service for questions, while in Peru, was terrible. My flight reservation number was changed and I needed to talk to someone. I had to call the States help line instead of the local number which had a non working automated answering menu."

It was great that I was able to create my own playlist with as many songs as I liked from their music library, for the duration of my flight. Staff woke me up and asked me if I wanted food in the morning which I thought was nice. On other airlines, Sometimes they just let you sleep and you miss out. Lighting is great for sleeping. Food is OKAY (im a picky eater) with vegetarian options. Provided pillow, blankets,AND HEADPHONES! Headphones are a must have for a long flight so it's great that they provide it. It was my firat flight with Latam and I look forward to flying with them again."

Cons: "This flight was entirely unnecessary. I paid for this flight and a connector from Lima to D.C. I was in Nazca, so could have easily boarded in Lima instead, but the airline forced me to make the 14 hour trip back to Cusco instead, just so I could fly BACK to Lima on their plane, otherwise they would have cancelled my whole reservation. I will never fly with LATAM again."
