I rented a car for the price of 520$. When we arrived at the counter, due to some sort of bank problems, my credit card didn't work. The solutions given by the employee, was to pay for an extra driver at the rate of 15$ a day (making a total of 75$) and use a different credit card to pay the total. We accept this condition and a total of 387.71$ was payed at the counter because the indian thieve working at ORD airport add some type of insurance that we said SEVERAL TIMES we didn't want. The scammer told us the money would be returned to us as soon as we get the car back but of course it didn't happen. This is pure scamming! A company this size doesn't need this kind of publicity but I'll make sure I'll write everywhere I can about this unless my money is returned! I pay for the car, I pay for the extra driver but I want the money of a service I DIDN'T ASKED back. Disgraceful!Reviewed 28 Jul 2026

The biggest issue was a noise coming from the back of the vehicle when driving over 60 m/ hr. I contacted Dollar, but unfortunately, there were no locations anywhere near where I was. it was bothersome because I was hoping that the car wouldn’t break down in the middle of nowhere.Reviewed 24 Jul 2024

As an infrequent user, it would have been nice for someone to escort us to the vehicle and explain its features/ operation. My main issue was that when I was doing my search for a car I said I was picking it up and midnight and it let me pick this one, but the location was closed from 10pm to 7am, so I had to take an Uber to my hotel and come back in the morning for the car.
