The location was right at the visitor bus stop or you could easily walk to the falls location. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Felt very safe and comfortable. Great night's sleep every night! Most of the breakfast items were sweet, and you had to be a bit careful if you have nut allergies.
The owners are very friendly and helpful.
The Hotel Employee was a great host, the french toast we had for breakfast was to die for, very comfortable. Will definitely consider future stays. Wife did not like using slippers.
A small but significant thing..the little jam containers were too stale to consume..much nicer would be a little dish of homemade jam or jelly.
It was a very quaint house made into a bed and breakfast. The rooms and grounds are very well maintained. We were there for two days, so we had breakfast on Aug 20 & 21 which were delicious. NOTHING
It was very close to all the Niagara Falls attractions. The breakfast was very good! I really loved the delicious homemade yogurt. The bed was very comfortable. I had a great nights sleep.
The hosts were very friendly and very nice. Room was clean. Breakfast was ready when we woke up and really good. This was a great place to stay. 5 minutes from casino and the falls. I am definitely coming back very soon
breakfast was great. The location couldn't be better, especially coming over the rainbow bridge from the U.S. It is away from all the commercialism and traffic, and just half a mile walk or so (along the river) from a view of the falls and the scenic way
staffs are very friendly and hotel is very nice and clean. space is small.
I love how clean this B&B is! David, our host, was absolutely a blast and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Our breakfast each morning was plentiful and delicious. Our room was very comfortable and we had plenty of room. I will return! Our room was great, but I could see how some of the other rooms may be smaller than what folks are believing. It just needs to be remembered that it's a Bed and Breakfast... not a commercial hotel.
Nice and simple motel no secrets or forced silling Clean rooms. Wifi signals and speed non-existent No breakfast Motel staff only present 9 to 5 No shops, restaurants etc in proximity, must have a car.
I liked how affordable the rooms were. Coming from out of the country the staff made our transition good. The owner was very friendly and knew a lot of things to do around town. From my room we could see the gorge. The location on River Road made it an easy drive to the falls and back. The biggest reason I wanted to stay at the Crystal Inn was the price but I was pleasantly surprised with the service, rooms, location, and bang for the buck. I'll be back. The only things I can really think of is the rooms were a little outdated and the Internet was down (due to wind)
I loved my stay at the Trillium. Mary, the host, was wonderful. She was very helpful in showing me how to get to all the attractions and recommending I walk the 20 minutes to the falls, rather than drive and pay the outrageous parking fees. She was absolutely right. My room and bathroom were comfortable and clean. The air conditioning in the room was wonderful, as it was very warm outside. The breakfast was delicious! If I ever return to Niagara Falls I would definitely stay here again. Nothing. Everything was great!
the household was very cold and rude to us. when we knock her door for help, she was very impatient and unwilling to talk with us. breakfast start at 9am and 15 mins late the breakfast was over. i will never stay here again.
Enjoyed the Ellis house with my sweetie. It was very nicely located between the falls and the exquisite wine country, which was our major focus. The home is also tucked away enough from the heavy traffic, but has easy access to the river road and the interstate. Cathy runs a clean and efficient ship as well. The coffee could be a bit stronger in the morning.
I found something different from anonymous hotels as I looked for. Familiar atmosphere and quiet location. I was charged 6 people, the maximum capacity of the room taking to consideration a tiny sofa-bed for 2, even if we were 2 adults and 2 kids, usually, in US hotels, accommotdated for free in the same room. Moreover unusual policy for a B&B not to include the breakfast.
Riding the Maid of the Mist boat and seeing Niagara Falls. The people were generally friendly and the food was good. The room was overpriced. It was so small, only one of us could move at the same time. The decor was flea market awful, two of the lights did not work, there was a hole in the blanket and hair in the bathroom. Breakfast was pretty bad too and we declined on our second day.
It was just ok My pet hate is mouldy shower curtains - which it had.Breakfast was poor in comparison to other B & B we have stayed in, during our trip to New England and Canada. The television was high up on the wall and very old. It was not deluxe by our standards.
15 min walk to Niagara falls, set on a quiet street. Plenty of off street parking. Stayed in the Deluxe cottage suite - this only had a shower. Kitchenette only comprised a mini fridge & microwave. The visitors book said you could get tea and coffee from the main house but this was not available. Breakfast was served at 9, which was a bit late.
rooms were small but nice and cozy. clean rooms were not sound proof as advertised paper thin walls
Jacuzzi tub in bath. Large beds, immaculate rooms.
Quaint older home, convenient to Niagara attractions. House manager was very hospitable. Breakfasts were excellent. Would recommend to anyone. Room was rather small. Spotless and comfortable, but small.
