Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Pros: "Quick boarding and arrived early."
Cons: "The seat was very very small for an average size human and the seat belt was on max.. No social distancing between seats"
Cons: "Lead turblence"
Pros: "flight late so crew dismissive wanting to get people on board, during flight was ok"
Cons: "smile it helps"
Pros: "Very quick. Great service"
Pros: "Nothing because I wasn’t allowed to board"
Pros: "Crew were very caring. What amazed me from a proposed flight of 1hr 20, was to and from Dublin a flight time of 50mins. Very good."
Cons: "Going with one airline and coming back with Ryanair meant I could only get my boarding pass 2days before flight, rather than the beginning of the whole trip. I tried 6x's on my mph to no avail, day before, got it on a desktop on last day."
Pros: "The flight was all good and even though the flight was delayed, they did a quick turnaround and took off as quickly as possible."
Cons: "Why do Ryanair only release their return tickets two days before flying? If they released them at the same time as flying out then it would be easy to get printing facilities."
Pros: "On time basic transportation"
Cons: "I was a little confused about bags. My bag fit under the seat, it's a "small bag". A "cabin bag" is what I would call a carry on."
Pros: "Crew was nice and professional."
Cons: "Boarding is always late and take long time. Maybe come with some better system to make it quicker. I'm not happy with prices for suitcases but that kinda doable."
Pros: "The aircraft seats were really comfortable."
Cons: "We could have been boarded on time instead of early so we could sit a bit more to wait"
Pros: "Quick and efficient staff."
Cons: "Whole. Families split up , inc young children, one group of ten spread all round the plan. Just two of us me row 27 better half row 8 ! Only Jet 2 do this too to punish you for not paying to sit together."
Pros: "Delayed and had to have replacement plane"
Cons: "Delayed and had to have replacement plane"
Cons: "NOTHING. I will never fly with Ryanair again. On the way to Malaga only one toilet was working, on the way back to Leeds I was told I'd only paid for my luggage one way and had to pay another 50 euros go get it back to Leeds. There was no food or cold drinks on the flight and we were delayed by an hour and half which meant my partner who came to pick me up had to pay £27 for parking. Ridiculous! So no, never again."
Cons: "Incredibly disorganized queue, 'Priority boarding' was ignored for everyone who purchased, then a nearly 2hr delay in a hot airplane."
Pros: "The crew were all friendly and welcoming"
Pros: "Clean and efficient with good staff."
Cons: "Why do I have to sit with other people whom have been purposely separated from their wives family & friends ? I know the answer because Ryanair have now adopted the Jet2’s system of ensuring although you book together you definitely won’t seat together! ( Unless you pay the premium to sit side by side as 99% of the worlds airlines do as a matter of course!)."
Pros: "Fair service for the amount spent"
Cons: "All good"
Pros: "Flight on time no delays especially with the weather been bad"
Cons: "Only problem I would say they delay in baggage handling and on the wrong carousel"
Pros: "Ryanair still not putting their customers first. Poor experience checking in online. Had to use online chat which needed several attempts to get an answer, be careful calling Ryanair as they charge 13p per minute"
Cons: "I was trying to check in in the past 24 hours. The system wouldn’t allow me and I ended up paying 50 Euros extra only to check in what I had already paid for in full in the first plCe. Then, just to top off the wonderful morning - I got an agent whose attitude was extremely rude and poor to inform me correctly what was the next steps and procedure. Finally, both my hand bags carry on get checked in and now I am stuck at the airport waiting for two little bags that could’ve easily got on top of my compartment where I was."
Cons: "The smell on the toilet was horrendous"
Pros: "No issues, accept a silly unnecessary incident at the security point-but that issue is disconnected from the airline."
Cons: "Everything was fine. I will find flight here again."
Pros: "Plane Good, Great Staff. food good (Bit Pricey)"
Cons: "Just wish it would have an onboard film on flip tvs like the good old days so passengers were not fiddling with tablets and phones, and maybe turn the cabin lights down so you can snooze a bit."
Pros: "the flight and the flight crew were quite good and professional."
Cons: "The way we were gathered up like sheep at the departure lounge. There was one person who acted like a mini hitler, scolding people if they dared to cross the line. An unpleasant experience."
Cons: "Late with no information given to passengers"
Cons: "Terrible service. I am writing an email to Ryanair as we speak."
Cons: "As ever with Ryanair, I resent paying almost as much for my suitcase to fly as for myself"
Cons: "The requirement to pay for a boarding pass after having checked in as required. The US airlines do not have this requirement. This is a very negative experience. Our gate was changed at the very last moment."
Pros: "Flew from Dublin to Leeds and then back a week later. It's only a 1 hour flight and the price was unbeatable. For a short jump like this, it was great, but I don't think I'd recommend Ryan Air for a long flight. Seats are cramped and uncomfortable and the whole experience is akin to a flying cattle car. But for a very short flight it was fine."
Cons: "Base price is great, but be forewarned! If you don't jump through all the Ryan Air hoops they will charge you dearly for every transgression of their many, many rules re: bag size, weight, check-in, boarding passes, etc. Screw up and there goes your bargain fair! We were careful, so it worked out fine for us."
Pros: "When we took off the plane stayed to hot"
Cons: "Never made it on the flight. The flight was cancelled then rescheduled for 2am the following day. I missed my flight home. Worst airline experience ever. Will never fly ryanair."
Cons: "Got to my seat on the plane and it was covered with potato chip crumbs left behind by the previous flight's passengers and obviously not cleaned. Got harassed and threatened by the gate attendant while boarding because I didn't have a Visa check stamp on my boarding pass even though I had visited check-in and was not given one."
Cons: "Ran out of everything always."
Cons: "Traveling with children...a bit more support would have been appreciated"
Cons: "We had trouble checking in beforehand we got there 2 hrs early and were still charged extra $100 dollars to print our boarding pass. THIS IS unacceptable"
Pros: "I chose Ryanair because of their 10kg cabin baggage allowance. They've really improved from my past (and after that I swore I'd never use them again) experience. Really slick."
Cons: "Constant trying to sell you extras."
Cons: "Online check in or you are charged 45 euros, boarding passes must be printed or downloaded on phones or an additional 18 euro charge per ticket. Check in baggage very expensive."
Pros: "I didn't check in for my flight online (sometimes I do for flights, othertimes I don't. It depends if the hotel I'm at has a printer I can use.) Anyway, Ryanair has a fee for not checking in outside the airport. The fee was 50% of my total flight cost ($54 USD.) I've flown on a LOT of airlines, I've never been charged a fee for airport check in. And even if I had to, if you want to nickle and dime a little bit I get it, you're a budget airline, thats what you're supposed to do. But if you're going to charge RIDICULOUSLY HIGH fees for very common practices as a boarding passenger (I'm not talking about flight insurance or premiere seat selection or other gimmicks but things people do regularly, like checking in at an airport) you better put that front and center during the payment phase of your checkout interface. Good lord."
Pros: "It was on time and comfortable"
Pros: "The price of the ticket."
Cons: "Everything else. The seats were the smallest I've flown in a very long time. The boarding process was chaos. The flight attendants spent more time trying to sell us perfume than they did providing any type of service, such as a beverage service. In fact, they charged money for beverages (a lot too!), as well as pretty much every other aspect of the flight experience. How does it make any sense to charge you money for checking in for your flight at the airport if you have to visit the check in counter either way? Really crappy airline, I would only fly them or recommend them to someone who is also trying to pinch pennies wherever they can."
Pros: "You have to pay for drinks, a simple coke or glass of water should be complimentary, not 3euro for a bottle of water."
Cons: "Did not like the fact that you have to check in on your own."
Cons: "We did not take a big suitcase as we needed to get home as soon as possible.but as we were entering the plane our hand luggage was t as taken off us and put into the hold.we told them we had my medication in the bag and it needed to be with us but they said it was nothing they could!d do.as we sat in our seats we noticed there was still plentyof room to put our hand luggage.and as more people entered the plane they had hand luggage with them and put them in the overhead locker.really really not happy"
Pros: "Seating whilst waiting to board"
Cons: "On my flight from Leeds to Dublin the lack of seating whilst waiting to board"
Cons: "The strictness of the company's policy for carry on luggage is absurd and the price you have to pay to check a carry on size luggage is ridiculous. One of my least favorite airlines"
Pros: "From on-line check in to disembarkation I could not fault the service."
Cons: "The long wait at passport control which is clearly nothing to do with Ryanair"
Pros: "Liked nothing."
Cons: "There was a protest at the Lisbon airport. Ryanair emailed us an hour before our flight to come 3-4 hours before our flight. Security lines and bag check was 4 hours long. The lady for Ryanair bag check was very rude to people. Overall a very negative experience. We ended up having to take the train and lose our money on the tickets."
Pros: "Cheap fast"
Cons: "Small comp. no food entertainment good crew"
