Keep an eye on your boarding gate and download the app. Boarding gates will change at the spur of the moment and the app makes things a lot easier and there is nice information on it.

I wish I had anticipated the delay at the airport and scheduled my ride pickup for 1.5 hours after the estimated arrival time. I was unaware that passengers from Air Canada flights had to board a shuttle bus to access the aircraft.

Make sure you know which terminal to head to upon landing if transferring at Los Angeles as the information board at LAX will show only flight info for the terminal you are at (1 of 8). I wish we had know about the security check and customs. It was a long distance between gates. It all worked out fine though. I forgot to add that the overhead compartments were built poorly. At least for someone my height and head size.

Delta is great because when you land, you are already on the domestic side of the airport. Since I take the train/subway downtown, way cheaper than a taxi or Uber, I do not have to take a shuttle all the way around the airport to the subway: I just take a quick link train and walk a short distance. Easy and fast! Like travel should be.
CandaceFlew with WestJetYVR-SFOJul 2024
I would recommend Westjet. I suggest checking in at the agent counter. My husband & I don't mind sitting apart on a short flight rather than paying to sit together, but the agent was able to get us seats together. I did think the prices for selected seats was reasonable. Baggage fees were confusing & a bit pricy, but carry-ons were free & plane had large overhead bins.
Verified travelerFlew with United AirlinesYYC-DENAug 2024
Denver International is a really nice airport, but it should be for a hub! A lot of stuff is actually open until 10:30 or 11pm, so that’s nice. Pretty good place to do an overnight layover too…just make sure to get some snacks in case you can’t sleep.
Verified travelerFlew with Air CanadaYVR-HNLJun 2024
If you are seated in the rearmost seats of the aircraft, overhead baggage compartments may already be occupied with first-aid kits, "emergency snacks for tarmac waits," etc. Contact flight attendants immediately to see if they can help you find alternative places, especially if the flight is full.

Toronto's customs was one of the faster experiences I've had. They opened four more lanes to expedite the process when the lane got too long, to ensure we would all get through within around 15 minutes. The public transportation within the city is also top notch, in my opinion.
Verified travelerFlew with Air CanadaYYZ-TPAApr 2024
Be at the airport at least three hours in advance and have your meal before boarding. I am short so if a passenger hadn’t helped me, I would not have reached the overhead bin.
Verified travelerFlew with LufthansaYVR-HNLMay 2024
Baggage policies encourage too much carry-on, making boarding stressful. Anticipate in advance, pack appropriately. Label your carry-ons well so if you decide to check them, they're ready to go. Sometimes the airline will announce that there are too many carry-ons and will offer to check bags from volunteers for free clear through to your destination.
Verified travelerFlew with Air CanadaYUL-SEAMay 2024
The flight itself is fine as long as there is entertainment and food service I would recommend bringing your own cushion to sit on the seats are just not comfortable. Padding is virtually none

A tip I have is if you’re in a 4/5 boarding class you might want to check your bag ! There’s not enough room for everyone’s carryon above if it’s a full flight.

All good the seats a little tight and no I pad screen

Everything was good except the fact you charge more for a carry on bag vs a check in bag and to top it off in US$ that was not impressive

Our flight was cancelled at the last minute for maintenance reasons and we were rebooked on a late flight when we purposefully booked our flight to be home early due to work.

Seemed like an old plane. Very noisy. The seat cushions were so old that the metal bracing of the seats were poking through. There was plenty of leg room though.

Flight was delayed over 2 hours, then landed at a different airport!

The whole experience from check in to deboarding was fantastic.

Just an evening before they canceled my ticket and offered me ticket costing 3 x times more than. I will not fall prey to these scams,Will never book through kayak now. Such a bad experience.

was okay except.. 1)the porter check in webpage doesn't let you print your boarding pass from home 2)that there was a 90 min cut off for checking in on the kiosk in general, and to print a boarding pass, even tho i checked in online already....

Great! Personable crew. I love that they pour complimentary beer and wine.

I love the 2 seats per row. More room. The crew were excellent.

Check in slow even though completed online check in, there was no bag drop available so had to query for 90mins as only 2 staff on desks.

Flying to a far away destination is a miracle in itself, so please take these with a grain of salt. The seats are a bit tired, and need a freshen up. The entertainment could be a bit newer, especially with all services available now. The food really is where we need help. But again, flying is a privilege, so all is good.

Not so much porter it's your site! Not good

They are a sister company with Air Transat and the two companies do not work well together. If you have any issues the two companies will blame each other and you will miss your flights. The help line does not help

Never book through a third party. Book through Air transats website. Terrible process to get help and many issues happen with them and sister companies because half the flights you book with them aren’t even through air transat.

The plane was pretty full, and we dis not have any includes meal for our 4h30 flight? And on-board entertainment wasn't available, there was no TV or plugging to charger your device on the plane. They told us to download an app if we wanted to watch movies but it never connected, that was a disappointment, the r we st was very good though and the crew were really nice!

Seats were very tight especially for first leg of trip.

Not necessarily a Transat issue but it took 2 hours to go through immigration. Tried to reach out to Transat for resolution but was unable to reach an agent.

The flight was excellent, once it started, however we were delayed two hours when the first plane’s engines wouldn’t start. They found another identical plane and transferred us and our luggage in under two hours and made up almost an hour in the air.

Really low cost trip for the huge amount I paid…o paid 550 dollars just for the trip, one way trip, plus 95 for 1 luggage’s and the second 135 dollars…no blanket, not headphones for entertainment, food was served after 3 hours and 2 hours after, breakfast was served Bad, low cost company for high prices

Absolutely terrible, from the customer service to boarding the plane. On the phone, there was some mishaps with getting in my correct date and they did not help me retrieve a refund or any assistance. I’m gonna be reporting to all my followers and family around the region of Los Angeles to New York.

Could not fly out of Canada. Called airlines on Monday, July 14th. Tried to cancel the flight 7 days away, but they said I could not cancel and there would be no refund.

A little disorganized but overall good. The Delta flights were great though

Price was good. Entertainment and food could have been better

Staff was nice, helpful, and did all they could. I understand economy seats are bottom of the barrel, but we're crammed in there with others in our row.

Our flight info was lost as the original booking was with westjet... almost missed our outbound flight trying to get it corrected. Inbound we had to reschedule completely as they didn't have our information and resold our seats ending up getting home much later than planned. The confirmation numbers we received from justfly for westjet didn't help anything with delta as they said we needed a delta confirmation which we never received. I talked with justfly and they said it's the airlines problem and with westjet and they said it is the 3rd party bookers issue.... so, not fun

They kept making changes to the itinerary. I actually wasn't able to go and i tried to get flight credit in exchange for the ticket, but the customer service chat was taking way too much time.

WestJet canceled my booking, replaced it with a booking that didn't work (departing from cruise ship), and didn't offer any flights that did work. Their only option was for me to cancel and go to another airline for more money. Which I did.

Nothing to like because my inbound flight was cancelled without notification by West Jet or third party, JustFly. I couldn’t take the inbound flight due to cancellation; therefore could not take the outbound flight back.

The seats are totally uncomfortable making the flight less than pleasant. The cookies & pretzels were terrible!!!

Flight got delayed for no reason. And Air Canada was doing 3 boardings via the same gate. It was chaotic!

My return flight experience was one of the worst times I have had traveling anywhere this year. Not because of the flight. It was because there was not enough time allocated to deplane, go through U.S. Customs and U.S. Security to get to the gate for the connecting flight to Boston which I missed, There was well less than an hour between my landing in Montreal from Prince Edward Island to my connecting gate. I even called Air Canada on the morning of my return and noted my concern over the short layover time, not more that 45 minutes. The initial flight was four minutes late. I was seated in the rear of the first aircraft, and it took at least 20 minutes to deplane. The U.S. Customs was a considerable distance from the gate at which we landed. The need for double security seemed unnecessary and redundant. The distance from the security to my gate was again fairly great, and the wrong gate number was listed on my boarding pass. The agent I approached at the flight that was going to Newark, New Jersey was too busy to answer my question as to what gate was for Boston. When I got to the right gate, they had just closed the door to the aircraft even though I arrived a minute late. If I knew the distance to Customs and from Security to the gate, I would have asked for a seat on the next available flight which was 4:30 pm. When I made my call at 6:00AM that morning. When I asked the agent at the Boston gate, he said that the 4:30 flight was already “OVERBOOKED!” I was put on an 8:30 PM flight and didn’t get home until MIDNIGHT. I then had to care for a barnful of hungry animals and didn’t get to bed until 2:00 AM.

From Montreal to Cincinnati the flight was perfect! Flight free and everyone was perfect and a pleasure to travel with. But from Casablanca to Montreal the flight crew were quite cold, unhelpful, also seemed to scold many passengers instead of simply educating or instructing them. There were a couple for sure I could describe but not name… i was really shocked bc my experience w air Canada is typically a good one at the very least. It seemed something was very much so I’m the air w the crew. The two older lady crew members and the male were amazing but the younger lady crew members w the exception of one were very clique-y and snarky, sassy

Seating wasn’t too cramped; I don’t understand how luggage bins get full if there are enough for each person. Shouldn’t there be room for the designated carry-on and personal item for each passenger at their seat? THEN, IF for some reason extra room is available for someone who prefers it, then shifts can occur. I’m simply saying it seems that I should have primary access to the storage bin at my seat and underneath in front of me. It was suggested that I go to the back of the plane to store my carry-on when I paid to have access to the first seat after 1st class. The additional stress and inconvenience could be avoided and I think all passengers and flight crew are interested in guidelines that are fair, clear, and reduce tension.

Wonderful airline. All staff were pleasant and helpful. What is sad is that it wasn’t grand gestures just everyday pleasantness and friendliness that are missing from the other airlines I have flown recently.

Friendly efficient crew, but plane had no way to charge phone. That is a near necessity with today’s travel where we carry out travel documents on our phones.

The flight was delayed for 2 hrs. We were changed to a smaller plane, which was shaking a lot.

Bad service as well. Another 3hr delayed flight from chicago to Charlotte.

Orlando to Canada, despite being close and an international flight, the plane was not at all comfortable. It felt like the chair was being pushed forward, in addition to not having a TV and having to choose from a tiny glass of drink, for example, water or soda. I couldn't have both. When I asked the flight attendant for an extra glass of water, she looked at me with an ugly face. This is ridiculous. They don't want to give water to passengers. I will never fly with this airline again in my life.

Flight got canceled last minute and rescheduled 3 days later, as if we do not have jobs and children to return to. 5+ hours on hold with customer support with no answer. We booked a different airline and spent 3x as much to escape Montreal bc of Air Canada. Still haven’t heard from them. Boooo

Very bead I am going to Vancouver to toronto. Not boarding receive. Before flight ✈️ time I have to take boarding. Boarding manager asking me pay $89 . Just flight ✈️ time before I pay .after provided the Boarding pass. Flair Airlines management not good. But kayak is best application.

Not good Even after I made my booking, I was charged $90 for my boarding pass. I have collected boarding pass i pay $90 near . Flair airline not good. Without pay no boarding pass.

The flight was smooth, but the seats are not comfortable. I was not able to sleep. The sizes for the personal item and carry-on are way smaller than other airlines.

Leg room was terrible and seats very narrow. Flight was also delayed.

The worst airline experience that I ever had in my life. The fare was cheap but boy do you pay for it when it comes to baggages, carry-ons, food on board and lack of available staff at check-in. Almost every other passenger on my flight had the same complaints and experience. We all bonded discussing our displeasure. My husband and I will definitely not be traveling with Flair Airlines. We'll take anyone else.

The most uncomfortable plane I ever fly on. The seats won't even recline a little. For a 5 hrs flight at night and tired it felt like torture

Seats in 1 res are dispersed all over the plane, even child was across

Personally, I will not use this fight again. The service is poor, you have to buy even water. They don't provide anything even sneak, you have to buy. They said Personally items for 7 kg. Then they use some measurements, if you have 7kg and if it's not getting inside of their measurements, you have to pay 80$ this is robbery. I will prefer other flight then this. I am désappointement taking this airplane.

It’s a shameful company. It ask as to go to counter to take the boarding pass, they simply send it by email, just to check the bags’ size in a smaller than normal template. DONT USE FLAIR! It will be more expensive than normal airlines at the end.

flight was okay, no wifi, no free drinks but worst of all they lost my son's bike for four days. Customer service was nonexistent - call a number that leaves you on perpetual hold, there's no baggage folks in the baggage claims area (in vancouver). we went up to international and nobody was at ticketing, went to domestic and they had us fill out a form. they could not tell us where the bag was. Anyway, highly recommend you drop an airtag for anything that's worth more than $500. My son's bike costs a lot more than that to replace; I was on pins and needles for four days.
