Cons: This was a connecting flight for us and was delayed causing us to miss our flight home from London to Los Angeles. There were no flights back to Los Angeles until the following morning (18 hours later). We had to stay in a hotel near the airport in the meantime. My boyfriend and I were forced to miss work an additional day causing stress and inconvenience to our lives.

Cons: the booking stated that it was Aer Lingus. I went to their counter in Terminal 1 and had to wait in two lines before being told that I was in the wrong terminal and I needed to go to the british airways counter to check in. This was a fail.

Pros: swift boarding allowed for an earlier departure and arrival 30min ahead of scheduled time

Cons: I waited 30min at the priority check in queue while being first in line this whole time. There was only one counter open for normal check in and one for priority when I arrived and after 20min waiting, the priority counter closed completely and there was just one counter open remaining, with just 10-15min before the check in closed. We had to wait another 10min to be able to check in our luggage! On arrival, luggage took 45min to just start delivering, completely wiping out the 30min arrival ahead of schedule.

Pros: The staff was nice

Cons: You've got to pay for a can of ginger ale now? When did British Airways become a budget airline? What a joke. The plain is an old outfitting with flip down screens and whatnot. It's not like we need these things for shorter fights, but why would anyone pay more to fly a nicer airline if you're treated like you're on Ryan Air?

DUB

Cons: Tough time. British airways wasn’t very helpful. Once our gate was changed no one told us or gave new boarding pass. We did have 7 hours to figure it out. But a clue where to go would have been nice. Missed my connection. Shuttle and hotel was a mess. Got a few hours of sleep outside the airport. Maybe I’ll get to Los Angeles soon.

Pros: Great meals, entertainment options, and service. Perfect landing of the 747 as well.

Cons: Not the fault of British Airways, but Denver International Airport has a cumbersome and lengthy process for the re-entry of U.S. Citizens. We stood in two different lines for over an hour to be screened for customs.

DUB

Okay 4.3

Pros: All staff were very helpful and polite

Cons: This flight was delayed. When it came to boarding my husband who needs special assistance was first taken to board first but then had to be brought back as refuelling was not done and was then last on board. When we arrived at Heathrow his special assistance was not there and we had to wait for about 10/15 minutes. It is stressful traveling with someone who needs help and even worse when there are delays. We were advised that we could leave the aircraft which we did but we were left waiting in an area without any toilets which is a problem for him

Pros: The snack provided onboard was tasty. The flight attendants took their job seriously.

Cons: Southwest Airlines style seating with a foldable tray table over a middle seat. Sold as a business class cabin at a high price for an hour and a half flight but we left feeling ripped off. No boarding order and overall chaos boarding. I feel that for the price and being advertised as business class I was taken for a ride so to speak, and not in a good way. This would not qualify as business class on any other airline irregardless of how short the leg was.

My husband and I so enjoyed the disposable plastic blue teacups that we brought them home with us and still use them as kitchen scoops all these years later. I know that may seem silly, but even without that nostalgic memory, it just feels SUPER unpleasant to have to pay for the basic (non-alcoholic) beverage service. Excellent 8.0

Pros: Crew was nice

Cons: We were about 45 minutes late taking off so it was stressful for all of us that had a connecting flight.

Pros: Generally I like the staff at BA and they are mostly on time

Pros: Efficient crew on board

Cons: Long lines, late plane, could have started with two ticket people instead of one since plane was already late. Friendly crew though

Good 7.3

Pros: The customer agents were helpful and just great

Cons: That out of 4 agents and the manager one simple agent wasn’t as nice

Mediocre 2.0

Cons: Tough time. British airways wasn’t very helpful. Once our gate was changed no one told us or gave new boarding pass. We did have 7 hours to figure it out. But a clue where to go would have been nice. Missed my connection. Shuttle and hotel was a mess. Got a few hours of sleep outside the airport. Maybe I’ll get to Los Angeles soon.

Pros: British Airways offered me a direct flight from Dublin to Philadelphia on their sister carrier American Airlines.

Mediocre 3.0

Pros: Good to have movies to pass time on lng flight.

Cons: 2 days prior to returnflight I called stating the at was not enough time to catch a flight transfer having to go thru tsa again . B A assurred me I was o.k. ..It was not. A person should not have to physically run and have stress of wait to get thru TSA then run again back, get on train to next plane.Other passengers then said "ou are why we are starting late". It was a transfer off a plane from Ireland not a traffic issue. BA SHOULD HAVE PUT ME ON A LATER FLIGHT. TO SEATTLE.

Okay 5.6

Pros: The staff was nice

Cons: You've got to pay for a can of ginger ale now? When did British Airways become a budget airline? What a joke. The plain is an old outfitting with flip down screens and whatnot. It's not like we need these things for shorter fights, but why would anyone pay more to fly a nicer airline if you're treated like you're on Ryan Air?

Good 7.3

Pros: Overall it was fine. Friendly staff, everything pretty efficient.

Cons: Truly disappointed to find that BA has decided to charge for ANY beverage whatsoever, even tea. I have such fond memories of flying BA years ago. Honestly, just charge a few bucks extra on the ticket in the first place.

Pros: Crew was helpful and kind

Cons: Charge you for even instant coffee, the alla cart way of doing things is taking over the industry. all about making more money

Okay 5.0

Pros: Replacement flight was fine

Cons: Flight was cancelled and I was not automatically re-booked, luggage lost and not delivered despite repeated effort to reclaim it. Aer Lingus hold time on the phone was over an hour and attendants were unhelpful (said my flight wasn't cancelled in their system even though I received an email that it was - which ended up being true)

Mediocre 3.3

Cons: No food, and no entertainment. An older airplane

Prices are per person, are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in GBP.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car hires can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.

More questions or if you have a bad price to report to us
Please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
