Pleasant, relaxed flight. I had 2 seats to myself, which was a bonus. I couldn't find a flight tracker ap so I could know where we were but that's a minor complaint. On the plus side, the passenger announcements did not come through my earphones but were on main speakers only. That was a nice touch.
Flight delayed by 3 hours 45 mins and no explanation given or apology. Rebooked on a flight departing to final destination 48 hrs later and baggage not delivered.

Poor communication: Flight come directly to kigali , didn’t come via mumbasa. Favouring to Rwandan passenger to move from economic to bussiness class after flight depart. My journey with Qatar Airways from Ahmedabad to Jacksonville on 3rd February 2026 was truly exceptional. The entire experience reflected comfort, care, and world-class service. Complimentary high-quality Wi-Fi throughout the journey was a welcome luxury, especially on a long-haul flight. The vegetarian meals were thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and served with attention to detail, along with a fine selection of snacks and beverages. Seated in row 6 you are separated from business class close to the toilets. The is a high panel in front that obscures forward viewing, coupled with no window view. Service is limited as the area is not in view of the attendants. It is closer in proximity to economy than business class.
My flight was with American Airlines 120. The flight was delayed 3 hours and I missed my connection. When I arrived in Doha, the AA staff told me to call an 800 number to rebook a different flight, which was unacceptable. Eventually a Qatar Air staff member helped rebook me on a flight to Manila, that was 12 hours later. They offered me a hotel and meal voucher which I declined, because I didn’t want to leave the airport. Long story short, I spent 12 hours in the Doha airport waiting for my next flight.
Terrible experience resolving missed connection after flight was delayed. 3 hour queue at transit desk, not enough staff, no organisation, worst ever flying experience.
The seats were uncomfortable. The service was poor. We bought internet for my family and myself and it didn’t work. The charger for our phone didn’t work. The service seemed like they were tired and exhausted and seemed a bit upset. It was not a good flight. Our flight from miami to Qatar was great but from Qatar to Tokyo was simply awful
The flight was smooth Thank God but the delays and changing gates for 3-4 times made me so tired of walking back and forth with heavy bags I thought I was going to pass out with heavy headaches but Thank God finally found the final gate and home safe. These delays happen anytime for important reasons so just be patient when you come across these situations.
