The crews are always great. The plane is a little long in the tooth, but landed on time. Second flight with TA this holiday and I’m impressed

Entertainment system is okay, flight attendants were ok. Leg space very narrow, I couldn’t get what I wanted to eat, dinner nor breakfast.

Turkish Airlines made a long flight from YVR to IST a great flying experience. From the attendants, to the food, to the entertainment program to all the extras, a twelve hour flight ‘flew by’. Late departure and arrival was not the airline’s fault.

Food could of been a bit more premium, but everything was excellent. LOVED the innovative boarding drinks and terrific service!

Seats were very tight with poor legroom - and I am average height. During the 12 hour flight, tiny paper cups of drinks we're only offered during the super and breakfast services, with the crew nowhere to be seen in between. One of the bathrooms was out of order, leading to long lines waiting to use the remaining two available to the economy class passengers.

Seats paid for in advance. Seat assignments changed by kayak 3rd party. Seats then changed again by Turkish airlines at the gate. Family seated on opposite sides of the plane yet money taken for seat assignments that were not honored.

The boarding was not as organized as what I experienced in Houston. We were able to depart on time and landed in Lagos as scheduled.

Flight was delayed. While standing at the gate, a note appeared on the sign saying the gate had changed to a gate far away. No member of the Turkish airlines team got on the microphone to instruct passengers to go to the other gate, to ignore the chiron, etc. Finally, the message disappeared. Eventually, the flight began to board. Very slowly. More slowly than I experience with other airlines. Though Istanbul may just be slow . . . In all other ways, great flight, great entertainment (top notch movies), great service, excellent food, comfortable lie-flat seat, dimmed lights, etc.

Staff could have been friendlier and offered drinks more often

Surprised for charged $341.00 FOR my luggage. THY opportunist, taken advantage of the people not knowing luggage must be paid.. I flew 7 months ago with Lufthansa same place to Los Angeles my family lives and work in L.A. no luggage PAYS BIG zero .. I WILL NEVER TAKE ANY FLIGHTS ✈️ FROM TURKISH AIRLINES EVER AGAIN 😒 Please Don't recommend TURKISH Airlines to nobody.. I am a retired person. With very limited S.S. check for a month..$341.00 is my kitchen expenses for at list 5 weeks i am a vegetarian salads and sandwiches.. thank you very much for your investigation asking my experience about the flight with ROTTEN Airlines 😀
