Loganair seems one of the few to still give a beverage and a snack with purchase of ticket (wonderful). I am super thankful of well trained staff and their knowledge on luggage and sizing on the smaller planes especially when traveling to and from larger planes. I never had any issues with being able to take my backpack on or being asked to check it as it carried my laptop & wallet...unlike other airlines of similar size running to & from SYY."

Cons: "The flight was cancelled and we were asked to leave the departures lounge. There were no Logan Air ground staff actually working so we relied in the customer services desk at the airport to give us direction on what to do, and we were told that we would be eligible for compensation. I have now been told ( almost 2 months later) that the flight was only delayed and not cancelled so we are not getting a compensation payout to cover the huge additional cost I had to spend to fly another airline to get me to Aberdeen. Awful customer service, unreliable flights"

We were allowed a cabin bag and a small hand-bag in the flight but as we were among the last half of the passengers to board the flight we couldn't find anywhere to keep our luggage and the crew had to take them away from us to store them somewhere at the back far away from our seats. As a result we had to wait until all the passengers got off the plane to get back our luggage and we were the last two passengers to get off. Unpleasant!"

Cons: "The only complaint I have regarding my most recent flight was the incredibly rude service staff whom we experienced at the front counter at check-in. After a harrowing cab ride to the airport in which our driver continuously ignored my request to follow the GPS insisting that he knew faster shortcuts, we arrived 40 minutes later than intended. Additionally he dropped us off at the wrong terminal such that we finally arrived at the KLM gate an hour later than we had planned. This was especially frustrating as we are traveling with two small children and made every effort to be punctual and leave early to be sure we got there with time to spare. Not the case today. All of that I could deal with, but when we arrived at the KLM counter, and I apologized to the attendant staff member that we were late and explained that our cab driver got lost, she responded by chastising us first in Spanish and then in broken English. She made sure to make it clear to us that it was our fault and we should not blame the Argentinian cabdriver. The cabdriver was not actually Argentinian, but that is totally besides the point. I was totally taken aback to be treated so rudely as a greeting at the airline counter. My wife share the same sentiment. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. Thank God, every single airport personnel and of course KLM staff member on board was incredibly kind and accommodating of our children subsequent to this. It saved what otherwise could've been a terrible experience."

"Due to the death of my uncle I was unable to take this flight. I called AA repeatedly for 4 hours to tell them I was unable to take flight. I was placed on hold and told I would be called by an agent. By the time the agent from American Airlines called it was 3 min before the flight was due to take off. The agent told me they could not help me and that I needed to contact Kayak regarding booking. I did this straight away but the Kayak agent could not get ahold of AA prior to the flight departing and my entire reservation was cancelled which cancelled my return journey ticket home from London to Los Angeles. The ticket cost $2400 and I tried for 17 days to remedy this issue with kayak."

When we finally disembarked, I was not allowed to my gate despite it being in the same terminal and having 40 mins to go.I was directed to a BA desk to get another flight. After 15mins waiting here the staff were rude and announced they would be closing. I finally was directed to departures to be told the only option was the same time tomorrow."

Cons: "Seven hours before my flight, I got an email from British Airways saying my flight was cancelled and I had been rebooked on a flight the next day. I called them immediately and was told the flight was cancelled because of inclement weather on the route. I checked the national weather advisory and saw no such weather alert. The service rep at BA told me there was "absolutely nothing" she could do, at which point I asked for a manager. I waited for almost 30 minutes, and once the manager came on I was put on a flight that same night, on a different airline. If I hadn't pushed back and demanded a more reasonable accommodation, they would have done nothing to right their wrong. For this reason I am extremely unhappy with my experience with British Airways."

Cons: "I am emerald on one world. In the departure flight I was not able ot reserve an aisle seat during online checkin ( need to get up on flights quite a bit for health reasons). I had been assigned a window although aisles, my preference, were available. I sought to change seats from window to aisle and would have been charged USD $18 (on a flight within europe - why dollars?). The BA staff said the website would be fine on the return journey - but it was not. I arrnved at teh airport (not having checked in as I didn't want a window) and the BA staff person in 46 at 6:45pm simply said that's impossible to change anything - no apology; she seemed rather irritated to be asked. I then went to security and the machine for priority queue did not permit me to enter - it said 'invalid ticket'. Then the flight was significantly delayed. So all in all not a great day."

I ended up taking an 80 pound train to London that took two and a half hours, and I expect the airway to pay for that too. This was bullshit and I hate this shirt air line."

Cons: "Our BA flight from Rome to Paris was operated by Vueling. Vueling staff in Rome lacked knowledge of whether or not our bags could be transferred properly to our BA connection and onto our home city. Our bags did not connect and arrived 2 days after we did. Vueling desks were extremely unorganized, staff were not helpful, and boarding the plane after 2 buses hauled the passengers far out onto the concourse was a nightmare. We love BA, but we will never again purchase a flight where Vueling is involved."
