This caused me to miss onnnection flight. There was very poor information or guidance by staff once we arrived into airport. I had to walk long long distances from the gate without assistance. I had requested wheelchair assistance considering I just had spinal cord surgery and In need of assistance. I was forced to stay over night in Istanbul and waited over 12 hours next day in airport for next available flight to Thessaloniki. I missed my brothers wedding night and could not be his best man for wedding from ordeal which was not fair! I also payed a premium price close to 1000k USA dollars for flight I could of booked many tickets with such a long layover and extra expenses buying a visa and food for half the fare I payed. This was not fair especially when a plane is diverted for medical emergency! To top it all off being a medical doctor I loaned and assisted staff with passenger and offered my consultation. services to emergency medical physician whom was called by crew for help and finally which reccomended to divert flight to Manchester to assist the passenger In crisis! Cons: "the connection in Istanbul was short (around one hour), which created the following problem: the 1st flight had to wait 20-30 minutes for the landing permission, and this made us running and rushing to the connected flight. The landing permission was delayed not because of the weather conditions, but because of a long line of aircrafts that came to Ataturk airport at the same time. Therefore, it is kind of Turkish Airlines blame."

We asked for the TV monitor to be fixed on three different occasions and nothing was done about it so we had to share our monitor for the remainder of the 10 hour flight. Secondly, we were the last to be served even we though we were seated in the middle of the plane. When they finally got to us they didn't have anymore of the selection that we wanted so we had to settle for what was left. When we finally got our food it was ice cold! We had to ask for another plate. By this point we were starving and very upset. Overall, our experience wasn't the most ideal."

On the flight they ran out of one of the meal choices and we just had to take or leave what they still had."

Pros: "I really like the fact that they still prepare food for their passengers, however, the quality of the food was less than average They prepare you with the eye mask and the slippers, and a thin sheet of blankets for longer flight, which was really nice. The seats are comfortable, and there are a larger selection of movies and songs to choose from which were also great. The flight was relatively stable. I didn't ever realize that we took off, maybe i was too tired to notice, i don't know."

I understand that was beyond Delta's control, except for the fact that its Atlanta hub is grossly overused. But my connecting flight in Atlanta was canceled, and its "dedicated" phone line to re-book the flight was completely unresponsive. The employees in Atlanta were, as they usually are, surly, and myself and fellow passengers had to wait on line for hours in the wee hours of the morning to be re-booked. Oh, and Delta lost my suitcase in Las Vegas, with all my clothes and a business file, and it has not been located."

Cons: "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Then it was back thorough security and a rush to the gate to get there in time to board. Lost our original seat assignment and wound up in the last row at the tail of the plane. Extremely poor coordination between KLM and Delta who operated the flight."

In mid season a week before departure, we were notified about the change and it was impossible to get a same priced ticket so close to departure. After that meal service he offered everyone coffee except us."

I planned my trip with more than enough time to make connection... Called about my travel insurance and found out it kicked in after 6 hour delay. Pros: "I was very pleased with the overall experience on the flight from London to Charlotte. The flight itself was very pleasant, the crew very accommodating, & the food, snacks & beverages very good. The entertainment provided was certainly suitable for my tastes & kept me occupied for the majority of the trip. There was also blackout time provided for sleeping. The seats were a little cramped, but overall I rate my experience as very good."

Cons: "Unable to pre select seats because the arrangement makes you neither a full BA or Finnair customer. Food was just about edible and that was the better non vegetable option. The plane was old and the in in seat screens were old too, with poor resolution (no touch screen to illustrate the aging technology). Although the entertainment selection was relatively current the aging connection in the arm rest, coupled with cheap ear buds made for a poor listening experience."

Flight itself played Mission Impossible 4, then a kid's cartoon, then nothing the remaining 5 hours. Very uncomfortable for those who can't sleep on planes."

Cons: "I booked the finnair flight because it was direct and charged $60 for additional bags to check in. For me this was really important since I was moving countries so I needed to check in multiple bags. But since this was in partnership with British Airways, I was charged $90 instead of $30. This was not mentioned or made clear before I made my purchase, if i buy a finnair flight then I should be charged finnair prices on baggage. If not, this should have been made clear before hand so I could have weighed my flight options. I hope you are able to provide a resolution."
