There was a mechanical issue with the plane that they had to work on before we could take off. That's fine, by all means, PLEASE make sure the mechanics are functioning properly. What was a problem was the fact that we sat on the tarmac for 4.5 hours without moving, without letting us off the plane, and without climate control and air running through the plane. There was no explanation as to what was going on; they just kept promising that it would be "15 minutes, then we are on our way." At one point, they even switched the entire crew out and told everyone we just needed to wait for new employees to show up. Then, as the 4 hours were not moving, an hour before the full refund, they made a big show about "the flight starting and the doors are locked, so you have to sit down." We didn't move for another 40 minutes; they were just trying to skirt around legalities that entitled us to restitution. When the flight finally was underway, the plane was gigantic but cramped in design, my entertainment screen kept freezing and glitching, and subtitles didn't work, and the crew was passive-aggressive. Terrible flight.
I’m entitled to a refund per LATAM due to the mid flight itinerary change and being stuck in São Paulo for 24 hours and needing to get a hotel. The airline was dismissive and of no help.
I couldn't travel, now I can't get a refund and to change the date I have to pay an absurd fine.
My biggest complaint is the comfort. I am not tall and there was no legroom. It was very uncomfortable. During my transfer in Sao Paola, the flight was slightly delayed so boarding was confusing because there were no instructions in English.
Bought a ticket that included a bag and they still charged me to check it in, latam is the worst airline.
I never got this flight. You sent me to Chile!!! And from Chile I got the other flight to São Paulo... I've arrived 7h latter than I was supposed to arrive because of Delta delays.
Lost ,y connection due to a mechanical delay, huge line to get new connection and vouchers
It was a very good flight, no entertainment is the reason for not checking that box.
Very slow boarding, 1 hour late - uncomfortable chairs and crew barely speaking english even at the airport!
Web site needs improvement Plane was clean and modern Lay Flat beds were hard and not to comfortable (business class )
Overall, everything was fine—the service, the food, and the entertainment—but the boarding process in Lisbon was a total mess. I’m not sure I’d fly with TAP again. It’s absurd to have to pay for good seats at the front of the plane only to board last; the overhead bins above your seat are likely already full thanks to passengers who boarded earlier—even though they might be seated at the back of the plane. I will think very carefully before flying with TAP Portugal again; it seems to me that they need to review their boarding process. I understand the logic of filling the plane from back to front, but the seats at the front are more expensive. Horacio Rodriguez
Boarding was delayed by one hour because cleaning and catering crews did not board the plane in time. Take off was delayed for another 40 minutes because of "rush hour scheduling". Vague descriptiion. My in-flight entertainment system was stuck initializing. The flight attendant indicated that they could not reset it without resetting everyone's system. Overall, a miserable experience.
The cabin crew was very courteous, professional, and courteous. Great service!
Better leg room than expected in economy. Nice crew. Adequate bathrooms. Seat cushions a little thin, but recline well and have adjustable headrests. Best value. Liked having nonstop from ORD to Lisbon.
Excellent! Flight left a bit late but overall a pleasant experience.
Let’s be honest. You know you are boarding a flight where the seats don’t recline and you need to pay double the price for bread, gin and water. But beware, they test your tolerance to torture pre boarding. They call all British passport holders. Then tag cabin luggage to be checked. And the ground staff pretend not to know what is happening and just says - please ask the other staff.
The crew was excellent. The food was not good. I have taken many international flights and the meal was not good by comparison.
Very little space between chairs, making any long travel very uncomfortable. Food is also very basic.
Cobrar por escolher assento em voos longos é desumano e um tanto quanto covarde, pois já vamos passar horas sentados. O banheiro não tinha papel e estava bem sujo. O avião era um modelo novo emlderno. O entretenimento muito bom com filmes modernos e a refeição estava muito boa. Vôo atrasou demais.
