  • Looking for a cheap flight from Cork to London Gatwick Airport? 25% of our users found flights on this route for £69 or less one-way and £60 or less round-trip.
  • The most popular flight route between these cities is a direct flight since the distance is so short. But direct flights are more costly. If you're travelling light, consider booking flights with Ryanair with multiple self-transfer stopovers, in Dublin and Nottingham East Midlands. You'll have to pay extra for a luggage allowance if you have checked luggage.
  • For travellers with an early morning flight from Gatwick Airport (LGW) to Cork, the on-site Premier Inn London Gatwick Airport North Terminal is an excellent choice to save time. It offers comfortable rooms, a restaurant and direct access to the North Terminal. Pegasus Airlines also offers direct flights with an early start and arrival time.
  • If you're using multiple airlines that include a low-cost airline to save money, like flights with easyJet and KLM, these flights usually have a self-transfer stopover or two. Ensure there is enough time at the stopover airport before your connecting flight to account for any delays. Missing a flight on self-transfer trips leaves you responsible for additional costs.
  • If you're trying to cut costs, consider taking the Gatwick Express train rather than catching a taxi to the airport. The express train leaves from London Victoria Station roughly every 15 minutes and takes around 30 minutes to get to the airport. It's faster than a taxi and usually a lot more affordable.

It was my first transatlantic flight with Aer Lingus. Very enjoyable. Thank you for making international travel enjoyable again.

It was my first transatlantic flight with Aer Lingus. Very enjoyable. Thank you for making international travel enjoyable again.

Excellent as far as the flight is concerned. Faro airport passport check was a huge delay and worrisome re missing the flight. 45 minutes there through passport control

The space between seats has reduced even further making it extremely uncomfortable. Couldn't even open the tray table properly or got compressed the moment the front guy reclined.

The seat pitch was a little tight for me, but I survived. There was a volatile, enraged passenger a couple of rows ahead of me and the cabin crew defused and resolved the situation calmly, quickly, and successfully.

My experience with Aer Lingus was nice, and I would be happy to fly with them again. However, my seat pocket had not been cleaned and had dirty wipes in it. I have flown with Aer Lingus before and do not recall anything like that happening, so presumably this was a one-off kind of thing. For the meal, I asked if there was possibly one without my allergens and the flight attendant gave me the one she thought would be fine. She did not know what allergens were in it, but when I received the meal the allergens were all listed right on the top of the package, so I was confused about why she didn’t know how to check what they were. In future, I will see if it’s possible to request an allergen-free meal ahead of time. But overall, I had a pleasant experience. My experience with Underpricer was very unenjoyable and because of them I do not plan to book through Kayak in the future. I have used Kayak numerous times, but this booking experience was so unpleasant. They called me numerous times and also emailed me to try to get me to select a seat. However, when I had a question later on, I was kept on hold for 20/30 minutes before I finally hung up. I also emailed them but never received a response, which I did not appreciate, especially given their previous frequent calls when they wanted something from me.

We booked a flight from FCO(Rome) with a stop over at DUB(Dublin) going to JFK. Boarding from Rome was kind of chaotic since the airport I guess is very small and we needed to shuttle to the airplane. The gate agent just let everyone and anyone go without using the sections so that took a lot longer than usual boarding. From drinking to JFk boarding was good and organized. Amazingly the flights was very smooth sailing and we’ve flown American big airplane to small companies before. The aircraft’s itself is on the older side, can’t complain tho because the plane ride wa smooth. For a 3 hour plane ride, nothing was complimentary. But for the longer leg of the plane complimentary snacks, meals and drinks were provided which was great. The food wasn’t bad either. I would fly with them again, great price and good service.

Comfortable trip , flight attendants professional as always. Only complaint was the food, We fly Aer Lingus frequently, this was the first time the quality of the meal was poor.

Everything went well. I made my connection which is always a concern.

I appteciate the very courteous staff. The flight was good. Something that wasn't good was that my bag was only checked as far as Dublin and I had a connecting flight to Vienna. (That was a mistake the ORD desk made.) Fortunately the desk at DUB was able to re-tag without me having to re-check in (which initially it seemed I might have to do.)

I had an awful experience at the ticketing agent stand. I had purchased three tickets, one of which I had the maiden name of a passenger on the ticket. They refused to help, assist, and actually delayed our process and had us miss an opportunity to purchase a ticket on the same flight. I was sent through multiple phone calls, none of which helped, and the person at the counter was the person who told me to both call Aer Lingus for help and was the person who said they could not fulfill my request that they were privy to from the beginning. My partner is still stuck in Scotland, racking up thousands of dollars in additional fees and tickets. I am very upset and two of my tickets went unused. I will never be using Aer Lingus ever again and I will continue to complain about them.

They were extremely unprofessional and unhelpful at check in. They did not understand laws related to Spanish residents flying with family It was very discriminatory the way we were treated.

A delay of almost 3 hours. It was evident that the staff wanted us to board urgently, to the point of rudeness, to avoid paying compensation

It's not the staff's fault. The cabin crew do their best but the setup in Stansted Airport by Ryanair is poor. The herding of people like cattle is unacceptable before boarding and is something that's in every airport but only in Stansted have I seen the queueing of passengers outside the plane on the tarmac and the crew only turning up with maybe 5 minutes to depart. This is a resource issue . Yes prices are good but seemingly comes with a price of poor treatment of customers. I'll pay more next time

On time arrival but the aircraft had seen better days and needed a deep clean.

It was appalling, full of young people who were drunk and disobeying instructions to sit down. Crew did nothing to enforce. There was a Ryanair pilot sitting in the aisle opposite me who talked through out the safety briefing so loudly I couldn’t hear. Whole thing felt unsafe

Delayed for 2 hours lack of communication no refreshments as promised and the drinks on board were not as ordered and refused to refund

Flight was fine, crew were good, cabin director spoke far too much; disembarking at Dublin Airport and entry into the terminal building was just dreadful, like entering the back door of a neglected factory building. What an awful impression it must give to first time visitors to Ireland.

Straight forward checking as long as you have completed every single detail online, prior to checking day. Efficient boarding, seating is ok for a two hour flight. Fulfilledour travel requirements from Manchester to Marseille.

I couldn’t understand the aircraft tannoy announcements I was in seat 20C - nobody in our row could either. Speakers a bit too quiet plus messages read out too fast. Otherwise excellent flight. (Flight delayed by 50 mins)

I bought my flight, insurance etc early and paid over £200. But had i waited until closer the time the price was much cheaper, i appreciate that it could've been more expensive but it wasn't. A better discount for booking early would be better than your current one
