  • For passengers travelling to Stuttgart from London with a lot of luggage, it is recommended to choose flights with major airlines such as British Airways and SWISS. British Airways offers direct flights from London Heathrow (LHR), while SWISS operates stopover flights from Heathrow via Zurich Airport (ZRH). Both airlines typically include a luggage allowance in the ticket cost.
  • If you're travelling on a budget, consider booking direct flights rather than stopover flights. Direct flights with British Airways are typically more cost effective since tickets include a luggage allowance. You can get cheaper flights with Eurowings, but these don't include any checked bags, so you'd have to pay extra if you want to bring luggage. Paying in advance online works out cheaper than paying in person.
  • To reach the city centre from Stuttgart Airport (STR), passengers have several transportation options. The S-Bahn train S2 or S3 connects the airport to Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof (the main train station) in approximately 27min. Additionally, there are taxi services available just outside the arrivals area, and car hire facilities within the airport. Public buses, such as Line 828, also provide convenient access to the city centre.
  • When opting for self-transfer flights, like Eurowings and Ryanair flights via Brussels and Bergamo, passengers can save money by considering a few key factors. Ensure you have sufficient stopover time for customs, security and boarding. Familiarise yourself with the airport layout and departure gates in advance. Be mindful of potential flight delays and allocate ample time between flights to avoid rushing.
  • For budget travellers, packing light is key to saving on luggage fees. Opt for low-cost airlines like Ryanair and Eurowings for affordable fares. Ryanair operates flights with multiple stopovers between London and Stuttgart, while Eurowings has both self-transfer and transfer-included flights with direct routes or a couple of stops along the way. Neither has a luggage allowance included in the ticket price.

I booked extra leg room, due to seat neighbor i now consider extra shoulder and arm room as well. Seems like the seats shrink in width now The crew was very friendly and professional ( 100%). Food was good not great, breakfast was bad, a dry slice of bread would have been better. Facilities clean.

Paid for exit row at the back of the plane. Window seat with lots of leg space. Food was inedible (as usual). Brought my own.

The crew on my Frankfurt to Chicago flight were outstanding!! Friendly, helpful and worth taking the time to write an excellent review on their behalf. I would fly Lufthansa again just because of their warmth, kindness and humor!

Overall, the service was excellent, the crew verry professional, and departures and arrivals were perfect.

in athens they helped me with my dogs and they solved all my issues excellent service outstanding

The staff were so very cheerful and happy! It really made my day to encounter such chipper folks throughout my journey

love the crews and my only problem was the delay at Frankfurt was very bad. I have travelled with Lufthansa for over 30 years now and this was cost me some planned business appointment

The flight delay made the connection a bit tight but that's outside the flight crew's control.

We had the best help ever from the airport workers who helped us check in and get our luggage through even though the checkout was closed. We had gotten so lost that a 90 minute drive became 3 hours. They were fast and courteous and even helped with our rental car. Thank you to them!

Size of economy seats great. Food well not bad for airline food. Staff friendly, helpful, professional. Very impressed

We always use BA due to the direct flight options, we have always had a pleasant flight with BA.

There might be more food options for people who can't eat so much starch/sugar/bread/rice. Meat, cheese, walnuts/pecans for snack, maybe jerky or other kinds of meat-based snacks would be better than bread and rice and sweets. I had an extra chardonnay, which was fine. The entertainment was great.

Unfortunately, my flight was cancelled because of some sort of emergency over the Atlantic and had to return to London. While I think British Airways made every effort to mitigate the situation, I must say it was still pretty unpleasant. I do appreciate the fact, however, that British Airways put my safety first…and I think the effort to correct a bad situation was very sincere. But I think the process might be handled better in future.

Horrible leg room - coach seating with empty seat in middle on a 3 across seating. You buy business class for comfort which includes leg room. Absolutely no entertainment options either. Awful experience

Crew service was poor and very little difference between premium economy and economy. Disappointed.

My bags never made it on the flight and I now have to wait for them to arrive hopefully tomorrow. You can’t even track your bags in the app to see where they are since they didn’t arrive. You have to file a claim and then wait for them to inform you when you will receive your bag. We were already delayed for an hour due to baggage so I don’t understand how my bag didn’t make the flight.

One of the worst experience given the middle seat even asked for the change no one honored, boarded at the end and overall one of the worst experience

No WiFi in either flight. No leg room, the seat in front of me left dents on my knees and the tray was so low my knees propped it up if I tried to use it.

It was good although our flight to the UK was cancelled and rescheduled for two days later. This was after we were already seated on the plane. We missed the first leg of our trip. BA did put us up at a hotel and paid for our meals but we lost our hotel costs in Glasgow.

The crew was very nice and pleasant. We were very reluctant to book our flight with British Airlines because we had bad experience with their flight attendants on the previous trips, they were rude and not helpful.

My flight was delayed and my second flight missed despite a three hour connection in Düsseldorf. My luggage was lost and it took three hours to recover which was actually unfortunately very much barely possible. I needed to rebook a flight that was three times the original cost of the original flight which now I need to go back and recover from the airline. Terrible experience,

Easy checkin, fast luggage drop off, quick boarding, early take off and arrival. The perfect flight! Thanks

Nice to have reclining seats for a change and great to have internet access

Tivat airport really needs to up its game W Eurowings needs to provide support at luggage collection

Delay after delay: no information besides what my Kayak app provided was provided about the delays. The plane was at the gate. Also, the gate, 100A, was incredibly warm, and the sun was beaming in. Boarding was disorganized with no groups announced.

Kayak - EDreams - Eurowings need to define clearer the hand luggage terms. I asked for add. hang luggage got charged by Eurowings for having add. hand luggage that was not included in my booking. I travel alot! I know the size dimensions never paid twice for hand luggage and cannot chase Edreams or put Eurowings in the wrong. Also there was severe delays on this flight. Issue getting bus on arrival and missed connections. Unfortunate will not use Eurowings

We checked in 4 luggage and only got 3 back & lost our 4th luggage. Our flight was from berlin sept 22. We arrived Copenhagen but only received 3 luggage. Missing 1 still 24 hrs after our arrival and our Cruise will be leaving tomorrow 9/24/2023. This is the second time that our luggage gets lost/delayed in Copenhagen

No food on plane.. flights scheduled 55 min..everything is very expensive on aeroport

Filthy plane, obviously not cleaned properly between flights, food crumbles in seat and carpet

Smallest seat I have ever seen. And they had a label with more Legroom but in fact where really tiny.
