FAQs for booking flights from London to Nagpur

  • Can I save on carbon emissions on this flight?

If you choose the right airline combinations, you can significantly reduce your carbon footprint when flying from London to Nagpur. For example, book with Air India out of Heathrow via New Delhi and Mumbai, where you'll switch to IndiGo, and you can save 45% in carbon emissions. The same is true of Air India's route in combination with GoFirst.

  • Do all the airports offer limited mobility assistance?

Heathrow and Gatwick have excellent limited mobility and accessibility services, including all-round step-free access and adapted amenities. You can arrange personal assistance through your travel agent or if you book directly with the airline, 48h in advance. Unfortunately, Nagpur Airport doesn't have much in the way of limited mobility assistance, except that you can hire a wheelchair if required.

  • How do I get to and from the airports?

Public transport to both London airports is frequent and efficient. To get from the city centre to Heathrow, go to Paddington Station and board one of the Heathrow Express trains that leave every quarter hour. They get to the airport in about 15min, travelling direct. To get to Gatwick, board the Southern Express train at Victoria Station for a trip of around 30min. To get from Nagpur Airport to the city centre, hop onto a Nagpur Metro subway train. They leave every 15min and take just over 20min to get there on the Orange line.

  • Is there an advantage to either of the London airports?

Both Heathrow and Gatwick are quite some way from Central London. Heathrow is on the western outskirts, while Gatwick lies further south. So if you're coming from west London, or from cities to the west, like Reading or Bath, choose Heathrow as your departure airport. If you're on the southern side or travelling from the counties of southern England, fly out of Gatwick.

  • What is the cheapest flight from London to Nagpur?

In the last 3 days, the lowest price for a flight from London to Nagpur was £339 for a one-way ticket and £510 for a return.

  • Which airports will I be using when flying from London to Nagpur?

KAYAK’s top tips for finding a cheap flight from London to Nagpur

  • International travel can be a challenge with young children. However, you can take them to the play areas at London Gatwick Airport (LGW) and London Heathrow Airport (LHR), where they can burn off energy under trained supervision.
  • Nagpur Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport (NAG) doesn't have the same facilities as the London airports. Still, you will find a small duty-free section, vending machines if you need a snack before heading into town and cash machines.
  • If you don't want to spend much time in the duty-free section before your flight, you can pre-order your items online through the Reserve and Collect platform for Heathrow and Gatwick. Then collect the items waiting for you at the airport.
  • If you need them when you land, Nagpur Airport has a few childcare rooms for baby changing, breastfeeding and other infant food preparation. You'll find these signposted in the Arrivals hall and the main terminal.
  • If you're flying from Gatwick Airport, it's worth waiting out the obligatory hours before your plane departs in one of the four departure lounges. They charge a fee, but the hot and cold meals, comfortable chairs with Wi-Fi, and quiet spaces are well worth it.

Top, only problem about Weather but not depended Qatar Airways. Anyway staff offered kimbo Refreshments

In the business class it was everything wonderful. However in the economy is a hell. BTW. When I asked to search for tickets, I ordered business and I was offered options with economy, that was not clear in the order, so I could've acted faster to rectify it.

Looks like a local flight. Food was horrible. No entertainment system.

Plane was good Crew was good Food was just ok Could have had more entertainment options But overall good

Economy travel is really hard with no room to move especially when the person sitting beside you is an XL or XXL size person who if moving could hit your face

I was travelling 3.5 years after. Agree Economy is no business class but the food was mediocre. Ordered a Hindu meal, the salads were bitter . The food was really below quality and had no tast from what I had in the past. Indian Railways probably have a better quality food when compared. However the kids meal was really nice and really appreciate how they were taken care of. The restrooms were dirty .

Terrible experience resolving missed connection after flight was delayed. 3 hour queue at transit desk, not enough staff, no organisation, worst ever flying experience.

I purchased Qatar airways after seeing ads about its service. To my surprise Qatar is marketing gimmick and horrible airlines which I don’t recommend to anyone Flight was dirty including flight from Miami to Doha And Doha airport restrooms are dirty On top of this they use this pathetic cheap indigo From Doha to Hyderabad which I will never fly Also they lost one of my baggage in Indigo and still waiting to receive it. I will never travel Qatar and will never recommend

Aircraft was spacious compared to American Airlines, food was great, entertainment was much better with a wide variety of options, and the crew was very polite.

Seating and zone. The minor I went with didn’t even seat close to me

My seat 3G did not go down fully and the buttons were not working properly

Food has been disappointing in both legs of flight to india

Great staff great experience, made a 2 hour delay very bearable

Great staff, great experience, made a 2 hour delay very bearable

Food was the worst I’ve had on a VA flight. Normally it’s a lot better

I was my pleasure to fly virgin on my birthday for my first solo trip ever 🫶🏼

These are one of the older seat arrangements facing away from the windows! Not particularly convenient sets. No storage spaces. NO COAT HANGING HOOKS. Inconvenient business class seat compared to any other airlines of similar class. Staff are excellent! Extremely professional, friendly. Food is good too.

Overall, flight was excellent but check in was very slow for Premium Economy. Economy queue was shorter but we weren't allowed to use it.

The staff was not very polite but the flight was very very nice and comfortable and the entertainment was great

The map feature on the display at the seat had challenges. The biggest issue was the flight had no WIFI. Most of the smaller planes now have free WIFI. American Airlines on the flight over had WIFI you could purchase. With 8-10 hours on a single flight, the ability to do work via WIFI is essential!!

A shout-out to the flight attendent, Lauren, who was the main person assisting me. She was amazing - perfect balance of bright, cheerful, engaging, yet formal

Cramped seating but standard in all smaller aircrafts today no matter what airlines. Crew very helpful, friendly & attentive so makes up for that.

Wonderful business class flight in a lovely new plane with an excellent crew

OK, except for a cabin attendant's lack of attention.

efficient. on time. cabin crew were very professional and very nice to deal with. would definately fly BA again.

It was great overall. A few slight improvements could be made on the onboarding process at the Gates with announcements and clarity of communications (both at the gate and in flight). The movies in the entertainment options could be improved for bollywood, hollywood.

I alrady responded to this request, and expllaned at length that this was the worst flying experience in my 77 years. I will NEVER fly BA again.

Airbus A350 is poorly designed for wheelchair users and reduced mobility passengers. The angle of the pods makes it awkward to transfer. I was able to but I have ab stability. It could be a real challenge for people with more severe mobility impairments. You'd think Airbus would have come up with a solution for this or thought more about us disabled folks more when designing this aircraft.

The crew has always been great on BA. They are very friendly and accommodating. I like that they have vegetarian options already in the menu. And the free wine is a nice perk.) I noticed (both directions of my trip) minor upgrades/ replacements needed on the plane itself (touch screen didn't work with touch; bathroom light didn't go on). However, this is one of my favorite airlines.

I don't think there were entertainment options (short flight) - which is why I gave the 'ok' sign. Didn't make a diff in my flight experience either way, however

Poor, pilot flew as if he was in hurry and had to coverup for wasted time

The planes did not have charging jacks for phones or lap tops and there are no monitors for movies. On the flight from Delhi to Hyderabad I was the last person in First asked for a meal choice and only one meal was available so I had no choice.

Entertainment systems did not work at all And the seats are the worse on this 787-8 aircraft. Normally I get good sleep on long flights but this time I only slept 2 hours out of the 8+.

The web check in doesn’t work. Had to wait 10 minutes on the counter for them to figure out boarding. I understand AI Express doesn’t have a practice to offer food to everyone in the business class. The flight attendant asks for name (not sure why she doesn’t know it especially with only 8 passengers in the business class) to figure out whether or not they should serve food. KAYAK should sell AI Express tickets separately, not as part of AI. Neither the experience close to AI, the Maharaja points also don’t get awarded despite Express being part of AI.

tray table was inclined by 30 degress so could not use it

Very poor experience. The entertainment screen wasn't working, charging USB was not working. There was a water leak on my head from air conditioning. The tray table was cracked. seats were old and dirty.

The plane was very dated with the worst entertainment system i have seen in 30 years. Flight attendants were responsive.

I think if i find different options I’ll travel with it but not with air India they never loaded the luggage’s and they announce the luggage’s will be arriving on belt number 5 when all passengers reach to the belt we find they haven’t loaded the luggage’s

Flight was cancelled by air India. There was no explanation provided why the flight was cancelled. Found out that the flight was cancelled because the Iran air space was closed. Meanwhile, all other flights passing through that region were operating without issues. When asked to refund money for the tickets, being told that “ As checked, we wish to share that Flight AI 116 on 15 January 2026 from New York to Mumbai was cancelled due to Iran airspace closure, which were beyond the airline’s control. While such events can disrupt travel plans, we appreciate your understanding and patience. Our team remains committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers and takes all necessary measures to minimize any issues. However, we must inform you that compensation is not applicable under these extraordinary circumstances, in accordance with the relevant regulations.” Completed unacceptable and unprofessional behavior!
